Kohls has the worst customer service ever. The worst of any department store I have ever been tool Even Walmart is better and I hate them. That is saying a lot for sure. And, I am usually pretty easy to please working in service related professions for 40 years, Are they in chapter 11? I feel bad for the representatives working at this store and for such a bad company. If it wasn't for the fact I have been looking for work pants for three years and no one makes them except these amazing pants by Vera Wang and only available at Kohls I would never walk into a Kohls ever again. I held for an hour on the phone this week to fix a credit card issue. I had a lot of Kohls cash I did not want to waste. The staff cannot get through either with any issues. They got hung up on twice and said they have to hold an hour even as an associate, which is very odd. How do they help customers? When they ring it up no message even comes up or code to say what is wrong so the staff does not even know what the issue is. After an hour on hold, no live chat, no email, no way to get help except call, the woman who answered was so rude I was shocked. She also did not speak english so I had no idea what she was saying half the time. She assured me my card was fixed and promised me no more problems which was a lie. I tried to use my new Kohls cash online and the same thing happened. Is it a scam so one does not get to use their Kohls cash? At the end of the call she said, "well we have 500 calls on hold in cue so too bad." What???????? I totally understood that comment, Also, tonight I tried to live chat and the agent hung up on me after telling me I had to call again and they would not help me. What the heck is wrong with this company? Call again and hold for over an hour? Ridiculous Kohls. Get your act together. And they have no email message option to use. When I asked them to credit me my time and for those lost Kohls Cash coupons I was told no. Again as a customer service manager this appalled me. I am shocked at the horrendous service. How do they stay open? Also, why is the dressing rooms always so disgustingly filfthy? I mean big chunks of gross and disgusting dust and who knows what balls and wads in the rooms. YUK! i am afraid to ask what they are and they are always there????????????????????????????? The sales agent said they fired all the cleaning people ewwwwhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been shopping at kohls for YEARS. I've been to many different sephoras in many different kohls. I came into this kohls with many other women in the Sephora so laid back the attendants weren't even present. Upon catching glimpse of me and my black skin with some products in my car the lady chooses to take them out and say we can't continue to shop we have to pay for them there. With other women clearly shopping in the Sephora section and continuing on to the rest of the store. Extremely disappointing I've never not been able to visit Sephora without the worker holding my products. I guess we were just too black. read more

One of the most tidy and well arranged store I have ever seen. Store is clean and no mess anywhere. Even at clearance area. I wouldn't say everything is cheap but sometimes incredible deals makes it worth it. You will see many styles which you find in sears, h&m and forever. My wife loved the varieties. Only 1 complain, I have is the customer service location which is at end of the store. You need to walk all the way to pick online or return. Am a Kohls employee and for past 10 yrs have been able to transfer from CA store to Phoenix store and work 6 months in each. Have been extremely reliable (20 mins ate once due to dead battery) and have received OUTSTANDING customer service comments from customers. his year transfer was denied because store had "head count" issues. This was at 4 stores in Phoenix. So in order to stay active and receive my same rate of pay when return to CA in Sept. have to do a 6 hr drive back to CA and work 1 day in order to not lose pay rate and seniority. I took an 8 week leave of absence and requested an extension to prevent the drive. Request was "officially" denied and have to drive back. Temp will be well over 100 degrees and it's 6 hrs each way plus drive near the unrest in the LA area. Also, one store manager lied about head count issues. He has hired people off the street recently. If that is the way they treat reliable and loyal employees after 10 years of service, it is astounding and very sad. When I stop working I will not set foot in the store ever again. read more

This store for me is always hit or miss. When I am looking for something specific, they never seem to have it. When I am just browsing, I leave with a cart full. I often feel the prices are high but they do have great sales. I hadn't been in this location for a while and stopped by on my way home recently. There was a lot on summer clearance and many of those items had an additional half off. I found another version of my favorite sundress for less than $10 and was about to leave when the cashier (Bob) told me I really needed to check out the shoes. I had deliberately avoided this department but then decided to go double-check. Several pairs of sandals fell into my cart, then I noticed socks and some men's shirts on the way back to check out. It was a good haul. They seem to be moving departments around lately (Perhaps a senility challenge for some of us?) but the big plus in this location is the incredible service and employees. They act like they like their jobs and appear happy to see you.It is always a pleasure to shop here. read more

I went to this location today after the cluster f**k at the Glendale location because I really wanted my Nike Slides (the ones I bought last year have served their purpose and it was time for new ones) plus I found a great pair of Nike shoes for only $52. I needed new shoes too hahaha. Anyways, we walked in and were greeted by security. The store here seems to be larger than Glendale but anyways we head over to the slides section and low and behold the ones I wanted weren't there. A store associate said that is all they had but I can't fathom why they would only have literally two selections at both locations. So I air my grievances that the website and store stocking level is trash and misleading. He said he was sorry but that there might be some more in a different section. I didn't hold out any hope and I said to myself whatever. So my wife finds her slides as well as my son and I grab my Nike shoes. As we were walking past that section that he said "there might be more" the ones that I wanted (Red) caught my eye and low and behold they were there! My son even found a better pair of slides there than the ones he already picked out so he switched them out. So now I am a happy camper and we picked up a couple cool shirts for my son on the way out. We go to check out and the cashier was much nicer and had a more "can do" attitude than the Glendale location (Cashier) and she explained how my Kohl's card will work and explained to me what Kohl's cash and rewards are and how they work. I even earned $30 Kohl's Cash with today's purchase and she said that can be used even on Nike's but we'll see. So overall, this location is legit. It is larger and appears to have more items? I am not sure because we just went for shoes and slides today but they do have a lot of cool apparel and other merchandise so we will definitely visit THIS location again and browse around and take our time just to see what they actually have even if we don't buy anything. Give this location a try especially over the Glendale location which is trash. read more

Keep in mind the homeless come in and take them. don't you see shopping carts at just about every busy street corner? that's where they are and shopping carts are very expensive to replace for businesses. Kohl's says you can get your statement on-line, but the only way to do that is to give up getting a statement by mail. If the post office screws up and doesn't deliver the statement Kolh's wants, you to pay without a statement. I guess you are supposed to just trust them. They want you to pay over the phone to get your account current. Let's not forget about the late fee, which they usually wave if you don't cancel the card. Does the customer come first? I cancelled my credit card with Kohl's year's ago and have purchased very little from them since then. My wife does have a Kohl's card, which is the reason for this post. I think Kohl's might become the next Mervyns. read more

From all the errands and all the kohl's we could have gone to we went to this location today. FIRST OF ALL... we were lucky enough to have Rachel help us today. She was so patient and took genuine time with us and our scatterbrained questions. She was at the jewelry counter and didn't get frustrated or annoyed at everything we wanted to see. SECONDLY Rachel also helped us utilize our kohl's card and was very expressive about what discounts were with purchase and with our card discounts. She really is a gem! It's ridiculous that a store the size of kohls only has a handful of shopping carts, I'd say I only counted less than 10 so I had to carry my heavy toddler through the whole store to make a simple exchange. I would never think that I needed to haul my own stroller to a department store. There was no way I could shop or look around because there were no carts. This is my only complaint, they should have shopping carts available, doesn't need to be fancy just something to put a child and what you are shopping for in. read more

You pay for what you get, and Kohl's will give you even more. Their clothes are not the same quality as finer department stores carry, but they always have cute things to buy in a pinch. I love their selection of athletic clothing. There really are so many different clothing options for each sport, weather, etc. so it can get very pricy to keep stocking my closet for all the activities I enjoy, but Kohl's makes it happen! Between the coupons and sales, I can actually stock up on what I need. They carry Nike as well as Fila, and their own brand, Tek Gear, which I absolutely love! I'm able to find shorts and capris with practical pockets, sports bras, tanks, and fleece when it's cold. I mostly buy yoga and running clothes. I don't buy my shoes here because they don't carry the best, top quality brands, but that's okay, I can spring the big bucks for those elsewhere. I also find great items for my home like memory foam mats on sale in neutral colors, kitchen utensils (Food Network stars brands), and small appliances for better prices than anywhere else I can drive to locally. I've noticed every time that the associates are very friendly, and they all seem to love their jobs. I go here at least once a month. read more

This location is a little closer to me than the Glendale, so I am here more often. The store is usually pretty clean and organized. But, I mostly shop on the app, and pick up in store so I generally just go straight to see the customer service desk. There's one particular woman that is always so sweet and patient, I wish I could remember her name. But, they all are kind and helpful. My only complaint (which isn't about the store itself) would be I feel the quality on some items have gone down. Well, I use to love Kohl's. Now, customer service really leaves something to be desired. I received one of the "flash sale" emails this afternoon. I head on over to Kohl's as I needed some work clothes anyway. At checkout, she asked me if I'm going to use my Kohl's credit. I tell her no, and she tells me I can't be a part of the flash sale unless I use me Kohl's card. What?! It clearly says on the coupon that any "tender" may be used, but I'm not one to argue. So I go to customer service to get my 20% off, and she tells me I cannot have a discount because I needed to wait til 5 pm and its only 4:51. Seriously? I'm so annoyed I just left without my discount and my rightful 20 dollars. I'm not impressed. They were so rude about it too, which makes it even worse. Improve your game Kohl's. I don't wear make up often and I know very very little about make up, only enough to get buy without looking tired. I was only looking at foundation and trying to see which one and Vivian who works in the beauty department taught me a whole lot about make up and gave me a make over. She did an amazing job on my face. She took her time on me and I love that she was all there for me. Now I have a great selection of make up from Khols to work with and I know how to use them properly . Thanks to Vivian! Drove 20 minutes to this location, because online they had sunglasses that I wanted to purchase in stock. Arrived at 7:30pm (they advertise they close at 10:00pm?) stood at the jewelry counter for 10 minutes, employees blatantly made eye contact & didn't say anything. Finally saw a very small sign, "if need help go to register." Go to register, wait in the check-out line for another 5 minutes & when I ask for help to purchase sunglasses, they have to page someone to ask, only to be told that jewelry's closed & apparently they can't be bothered to open it, even to make a $150 sale. I understand low staffing & I've worked in a department store before, but closing down one of your main departments 3 hours early is ridiculous. read more

I shop here a lot! The clothes are really cute and with sales and coupons the price is right! The only negative I can say is that their clearance racks are cluttered and unorganized. It would be nice to see the clothes not so crammed onto the racks and divided by style, ie workout clothes, dress clothes, casual clothes, etc. Their return policy is generous, even without a receipt; they can look up your order by your Kohls charge or CC. I'm kinda torn. Kohl's isn't bad. In fact, my friend has gotten some awesome kid's clothes there. I've seen some decent stuff there for adults too, but for the price it wasn't anything particularly special. That said - they have some pretty good sales. I almost bought my KitchenAid Mixer there during one if their sales. (Amazon had a better deal that same week.) And sales are my friend's main time where she buys her daughter's clothes and I've seen some pretty good deals for some really cute stuff. Maybe I've come to early or late, but I still haven't found anything for me yet. I found a few "almost bought" gifts, but even that wasn't enough to push me over the edge. The fact that I drove across town after my nearest Kohl's didn't have the right size, the stakes were set very high. The cashier Jim was really nice. He made sure that the marked down sales price of an additional 25% off was honored for all items even though it did not ring up appropriately at the counter. I browsed yesterday around mid-afternoon mainly because I had a $10 off $10 coupon from the mail and just had to check this store for the first time. I noticed it's like Ross or Marshalls in that customers go for the clearance (remember there's always a reason why items are being marked down, you get what you paid for) and being that it was the weekend, there were cluttery aisles / racks, especially the toys. Pretty much something to expect in advance... I was elated to find this one item: paper doll stencil set by Fashion Angels, American Girl edition- which is pretty much hard to find at a much lower price. I collect various paper doll stencils / templates. However, it was marked at a full $18.99 but since there was a missing sticker pack (either stolen at the store or elsewhere before it was stocked), the courteous manager on duty, Jessica, gave me 30% off combining with that $10 coupon and bringing it on down to $3.98. I used to hate Kohls, they always claimed they had deals but everything was just the same or higher priced than everything else. But then I learned how to shop. I pretty much wont go without a coupon and then if you pay attention to their early bird and night owl deals you will get even more of a discount. We have bought two huge rugs there normally priced $200 and up and we spent way under $100 on them due to the deals that they have. So, it is a place you can get some great deals on anything from clothes to home decorations, or even kitchen stuff and luggage, but you have to pay attention to the deals. read more
