I was there today to pick up a few long sleeve tees, etc. While the store was stocked for Christmas, it was so poorly merchandised. Short sleeve and long sleeve mixed. Couldn't find Apt 9 tees anywhere. No help available. Looked for flex performance pants. Two or three different styles on same rake, and of course limited sizes. When to register with kohls cash, but was told I was a day early to use it Needless to I'm done with this store. read more

Another lackluster experience at Kohl's. I'm returning a few items from my last purchase and I notice my Kohl's cash expired. The Customer Service guy says, "no problem" and gives it back to me with a receipt that allows me to use the coupon. I think to myself, "OMG I can't believe it. Every time I'm here, the service is awful. Maybe this time is different!" I walk around to find something to spend it on, and find nothing that really stands out to me. I picked up an item that I know I needed but didn't want to spend full price on. I go up to pay. The lady advises me my Kohl's cash cannot be used. I explain what happened and oh well, he told me the wrong information. I didn't want to argue, it wasn't worth it. I decided to buy the item somewhere else. You never fail to disappoint, Kohl's! From this, to the last time when you mislabeled a vacuum with the wrong price, wouldn't honor the price and I walked out searching for it with your competitors on google. I couldn't believe how high you jacked up the price! Shout out to Best Buy who surprisingly sells vacuums. read more

I really like this Kohl's store. I always find some really good deals, and their women's selection is way better than other stores in the area, I've found. The holiday decor section here is my absolute favorite, and I always stop in before and after the holidays to see what I can find. The kitchen section though is a bit lacking, it'd be nice if they had more options in store. read more

If you go, bundle up and take a lunch and bottle of water. The store is cold and most registers are unattended People are nice if you can find one. Their return policy has also changed and their discount coupons only apply to generic stuff. I'm looking for a new store. read more

I went on march 11 2022 at 10 am Worst customer service ever my experience with the manager alone was horrific I went in to purchase a book from my grandson and use a 25% off coupon that I just received from their Amazon department and I was told I couldn't use it even though the coupons didn't say anything it stated I could use it on anything in the store however the manager whose name was Katie said to me that I could not use it on a toy I did not realize a book was considered a toy she had a very nasty attitude and was extremely rude this is the 2nd time I've gone to the store and had rude treatment I would never ever recommend the store or would go to it again lr92salcedo@yahoo.com read more

Buyer beware! I spent $331 in one trip (bad I know) and received $60 in Kohls cash. I went back during the week to return 1 article of clothing ($16) and to use the Kohls cash, that also came with a 20% coupon. I made my return first, then got a few items to use the Kohls cash. A swim suit for $39.99, shorts for $11.99 and a 4 pk of chap stick for $10.99( just to use the rest of the Kohls cash). I check out and the clerk says the balance is $11.52.. how? Well the return took away $10 Kohls cash, OK I'm not going to complain, still with the 20% off I should've only owed less than $1. I would post a picture of my receipt if I could. You would think they would take the Kohls cash off at the end but they don't. They chopped it up however they liked... took $31.75 off the bathing suit, $9.53 off the shorts and $8.72 off the chapstick and then took 20% off those prices. People should be aware of their trickery. Marshall's in the same plaza has better pricing without the nonsense. read more

I used to be able to find a lot of housewares and clothing at great prices. While Kohl's is still my go to for home goods, bedding, kitchen appliances, dishes and towels, I have been disappointed with the clothing styles for petites. The petites department is getting smaller and the choices are the same year after year. Also many of the choices offered for petites Is more for an older person than someone who is in their 40's. I hope the selections change. read more

Stopped by a few times to get "gifts". I can't say I left with anything because frankly the stuff here is just a grade above Walmart. Prices weren't amazing. The only item I ever got from here was a swim /beach wrap. I got it for a bargain. I hate their pricing, they have their specials but you have to be a Kohl's cardholder. Very annoying. read more

There is no doubt that front line workers have a tough job. At this point, I plan on never setting foot into Plainville Kohl's again anytime soon. Beyond horrible customer service and TWO associates did not even know the full name of the store manager. Maybe I need to chalk up the poor customer service to poor employee training. read more

Kohl's is one of my favorite stores. I find some great deals and the people who work there have always been super nice and very helpful.

First time ever going into any kohls. I own my own hair business and have a lot of my hair clients telling me how great it is there and how it's cheaper and so on. I went to go for my first time on Sunday and would never ever go back!!! 1st walked in saw and went to just browse and over heard two woman employees talking very meanly about other customers at the store about their clothing and weight!! Ouch! And deals? What deals??? Yes a lot of things said "20-50%" off but a lot if not everything I looked at was 50-100 with the discount ... Shirts, purses (that were hideous and out of season) watches, to make up. Everything just seemed expensive but hey that's not against this establishment but just my personal opinion HERES WHERE I WOULD NEVER EVER RETURN TO THIS STORE! Being my first time, I did not know you have to wait in a different line to get to the open registers. No problem right? So I walked up and was yelled at by I believe his name was Robert asking why I thought I was exempt from waiting in line like everyone else . I explained I didn't know and went into line. Then it was my turn and ended up with this Robert (maybe the name isn't right but it was on Sunday 21st he was a much older man at the register closest to the doors) who looked up at me then the door made a buzzing sound and he asked the customer to come back in to check his bag.... No problem right? Ok so then he takes out every single piece of clothing looking for a tag and folded it back and did this several times. I had one thing to purchase. This man didn't think to even say "hold on one second let me check this bag" or no "excuse me one second" nothing. And no exaggerating after ten minutes at this register after not being acknowledged after being called up I said I was all set. All he said was "k" If I hadn't known better I would have thought this man like personally didn't like me. But I knew I never met him or didn't know him. I get everyone has a job. This man may have needed to check the bag. He could have rang my one thing up and checked it or ATLEAST say something to me. So I walk out and not even by the time I got to my car the man that has his bag buzzed was already out. Just seemed like they did not want my business & that I was very Unwelcomed. read more

Its a big store, but in the end...just another high priced version of a walmart...but not as good. Atmophere is awsome, but ya just cant beat walmart! lol. This place has a maze of a parking lot, im sure accidents occur often...i work accross the street and see police there often, so i think people go in and steal alot, but thats what u get when u r near crappy new britain ct. I actually have better success with this location over the canton one. They have more selection even though it's not kept as clean and tidy. The people here are very nice and never encountered a bad attitude from the staff. This is my go to for dress cloths. read more

Great store. But your store hours are incorrect. It opens at 9 not 8. But other than that great deals and pretty easy to shop at.

I enjoy a nice trip to Kohl's from time to time...especially with my 30% off coupon and Kohl's cash in tow. They have a nice selection of pretty much everything...but once in a while I find it to be hit or miss. For kids clothes it really can't be beat though...I always find something to buy. If you need to return something it is always fast and easy and customer service is always pretty friendly. There are some negatives: holiday lines are a disaster...you could easily wait in line for 20 minutes to a half hour. Online shopping can be fun, fast and easy..but I recently ordered a very cute Minnie mouse outfit for my daughter only to be sent the wrong outfit in the wrong color...and when I went online to see if what I originally ordered was still in stock, it was out my daughters size. So I am not a happy camper today with their online ordering. I will be back to this store soon to return the wrong order I received (another perk, you can return things ordered online to any store) and see if I can find something nice for my daughter in its place. read more
