I've been to some cool places like Atlanta, Montreal, Halifax, Anaheim, Reno, Calgary, Quebec City, etc. Its a three day affair that ends with a Banquet and Ball. In 2015 I became a national officer, and one of our traditions is that officers wear a white dinner jacket at the Annual Banquet and Ball. So years ago I bought a white dinner jacket from K&G. But over the years, some things have changed. First of all, K&G has moved to this current location, and second of all, I'm now down about 50 pounds from where I was when I first donned that white jacket. So now you you know the backstory of why I returned to K&G to buy a somewhat better fitting white jacket today. I found a beauty! It was more of a white tux jacket with black lapels, and man oh man was it sharp looking. I really wanted it but it had a tiny smudge on the left lapel and although it was close to my size, it wasn't exactly my size. Now this is where K&G's fantastic customer service swung into action. Valerie heard my dilemma and said there were no jackets in the style and size I wanted, but she walked us up front, called their Orange store, confirmed they had EXACTLY what I wanted, and arranged for them to hold it for me. We were there an hour later and bought it. I did buy a white vest in Manchester, and one of the cool things about K&G is if you text a code to them you'll get some sort of a discount. So we did that at both locations and saved $5 on the vest and $10 on the coat. After the discounts, the vest cost $29.99 and that sharp looking coat Joe Jackson sang about cost $89.99 (pre-tax). I could not have been more pleased with today's K&G experience.

I never had red suits before, so it was so awesome to make a bold color choice and really stick out. The red blazer I wore on two TV appearances I did this December. (NBC and CBS) It looked so good and festive on camera! I could not be happier with it. These were two of the best purchases that I have made in awhile and I also got texted a coupon for 25% off my entire purchase. I saved more than $80! I recently purchased a formal dress from David's Bridal to wear for two upcoming weddings plus various other fancy events that may pop up in the future. The dress needed some serious work: the back needed to be taken in quite a bit, as did the sleeves around the shoulders. Alterations at David's Bridal are CRAZY expensive (a friend told me that's how they rope in most of their money), so there was no way I was getting it done there. This is the only place near me that offers tailoring that I know of, so I brought my dress here and just hoped beyond hope the alterations wouldn't cost a fortune; almost the entire top of the dress is lace. The tailor (I never got his name; I know, shameful!) had me put on the dress and put me in front of the mirror to see what needed work. He only put one bobby pin in the dress and only seemed to measure one side; it worried me, but he seemed to know what he was doing, so I mustered up enough trust to leave me dress in his hands (pun totally intended). Five days later, I went in to pick it up. The gentleman recognized me immediately, smiled, grabbed my dress, told me to wait, and disappeared into the back of the place. He returned five minutes later with my dress perfectly pressed. The alterations plus the press only cost me $25, far, far less than what David's Bridal would charge. Later on at home, I put on the dress, and WOW. The alterations were absolutely perfect. My dress-which used to hang on my shoulders and back-now fit like a glove. A family member then told me they had had work done by him years ago; he's been in the business forever and knows his stuff. That clearly showed. If you need tailoring that's not super expensive, stop by here if you can. You won't regret it.

I waited last minute to get a dress altered and it definitely was a huge mistake. First of all the pricing was extremely high, even for a quick alteration (deadline approaching) I was charged $120 to alter a dress almost the same price as the dress itself. I received the dress today, the work was very bad. Please do not bring your items here if you want good quality work. Do not be like me and wait last minute and have to settle for mediocre sewing.

Anthony was extremely kind, helpful and attentive to my needs. I had to have a wedding dress altered within two weeks of my wedding date and he was more than accommodating. Not only did he get it done within a weeks time, he let it out about 1 inch total, made a beautiful bussell with three ways to pin it and cut the length so I wouldn't trip over my dress. It was perfect. I know I can count on him to do what I need well and with care. I've taken other items to him which have been perfectly tailored. Definitely will continue to go here for all my tailoring needs.

Terrible, unprofessional experience. Two weeks ago I dropped off a dress to be cleaned. I asked the…read moreman taking drop offs if there would be any issues cleaning it and he said he didn't know, because he was just filling in for his father. So he took my phone number and told me that his father would call me if there were any issues and he said the dress would be done in 3 days. Today, exactly two weeks later, I go in to pick up my dress and the owner is there. He looks around, doesn't find the dress, asks me what color it was, then aimlessly walks around some more looking (the place is not that big). Then he asks me if I can come back because he can't find it and I said no I really can't, so after spending several more minutes walking around aimlessly, he started to say again that I was going to have to come back when he happened to look underneath the counter and pulled out my dress, which was not clean, and had been sitting there for the last two weeks in the same bag. He offered no explanation, no apology, just stood there looking at me. I took my dress and went somewhere else. Complete waste of my time.
