Time flies I can't believe it's been seven years since this store opened in Pike & Rose. It was very unique when it opened. It's like an Asian version of H&M. I feel prices have significantly increased over the years. Simple tee shirts are cheaper across the street at The Gap. I wanted to buy my mother a thermal long sleeved under garment shirt, but she needs an XXL, and the woman working there told me that you can only buy those online. Bummer. These people are scammers. They LIED about a limited time deal, and denied me a refund when I saw my item was $20 more than advertised. When I realized, he had already told me to pay and said there was nothing he could do. Then when I asked for a refund, he was VERY rude and made me feel unsafe. I was shocked, not knowing how someone with this respect level was employed to a store. This tells me everything I need to know about this establishment. To hell with Uniqlo. read more

I like the sleek designs put on the graphic tees here -- as soon as you enter, you see them hanging up on the walls, and on shorter shelves. They've got pants, hats and other accessories too! I like a lot of their selections, but I mainly only ever get shirts. Usually when I shop, there's a good sale going on. That wasn't the case last time I went which was fairly recently, but that's okay! This location is hard to miss in Pike & Rose, and it's one of the many things to do there. I do wish there was a Uniqlo closer to my house... but then I might get myself in trouble. read more

The first time I ever visited a Uniqlo was in Los Angeles. I remember... at the time... I tried a few things... and how to put this lightly... Well I ended up leaving with a one-size-fits-all winter hat lol. *emoji with dashes for eyes and mouth.* Now... I REALLY liked that hat. It feels like it might be cashmere... I'd have to check. But it's definitely been one of my favorite winter beanie style hats over the past few years. Now, that I've shed a few pounds... I can shop at Uniqlo for other things. I recently found that I REALLY like their athletic style shirt. It seems like it's high quality, it fits well, and the price is right. It comes in short sleeve and long sleeve. And now... I have almost every color lol. I even took a plunge and got the eggplant colored short sleeve version of the shirt. Whether I look good in purple... well the jury is still out on that one. BUT, I've been back to this Uniqlo at least 6 times or so. The store is always tidy, everything is very well organized, and I feel like MOST of the merchandise is priced well. Somethings... like their hoodie... I feel is pretty overpriced. Even for the material it's using. But I can definitely still find stuff I like. And I've moved away from graphic tees and what not... so I'm shopping more and more at stores like this. My personal style is trending more towards "streetwear" I would say. And Uniqlo's got my back. I decided to give it 4 stars cause while the customer service there has never been bad or offensive in anyway... I also feel like it's not warm. Nobody usually comes up to me to see if I'm finding everything I need. Most times I'm not welcomed into the store. Now, I don't need to be treated like I'm arriving at Downton Abbey, but just a tad bit more warmth would go a long way. Will be back. read more

I had no idea what UNIQLO was prior to a few days ago. It was not until I asked some friends what it was is when I came up with an interest. This is their first MD opening (not first in the DMV and certainly not first in the world). This is how they were described - a Japanese version of H&M with better quality and great prices. Sounds like a win to me. I decided to check out their store in Pike & Rose shopping area. As I walked in, I noticed a lot of Fall colors (red, brown, black, grey, green, blue, etc.); didn't know if it is because Fall is coming soon, but they were nice colors. What caught my eye instantly were the prices on things - they certainly had great prices. Yes they do have a few Pike & Rose pricing specials (until certain dates), but the prices that show after those expire still look good. I like their Katagami Graphic T-Shirts - cute and loved their Fleece Jackets - so soft and comfortable. I would have gotten more items, but when I tried others on, it didn't look as good on me as I hoped they would. Service was great; Folks were helpful. I definitely plan to go back. Tips Parking is in the area (2 garages nearby) - you are sharing it with other patrons visiting other Pike & Rose places - both are 10 steps either way. First 2 hours are free. A great store to get essential and monochrome items! I first discovered Uniqlo since I would walk past this location in Pike and Rose and decided to go in one day. I bought a few things from this store and I have been so impressed with the comfort and quality of their items! My husband is an even bigger fan and would buy every item in the store if he could. He loved their breathable t-shirts that he claims are similar to the overpriced Under Armor T-shirts. I highly recommend checking this place out. I like how bright and open this store feels, I hate that I feel like I'm shopping in an overpriced Old Navy. They have a lot of cute selections for girls unfortunately I have a son, so this place doesn't work for us. The service is always perfect, especially the cool check yourself out registers that will ring you up without emptying the bag. read more

I always passed by this store and finally was able to take a peek. Similar to SuperDry. Very spacious and trendy setting. Picture this as a more trendier H&M. I loved the style of clothes they carried and the quality. I saw a lot of cute printed tees but just bought one cuz I was pressed for time. The one shirt I bought was soo comfy and the material was of durable quality. Not the cheap see thru cotton like other brands. Nice employees here. Ill definitely be coming here more often. Note: one thing I should mention that I havent seen in other reviews is that they are cashless. You have to pay with plastic. Not cool. read more

While I love Uniqlo clothes, this store has a very limited selection compared to what's available online. Even when I get an email regarding new styles I find myself heading to the store and being disappointed. To make matters worse they barely stock clothes in size M. One time I even had to get something off a mannequin because it was the only medium shirt left. The employees who work there are not very friendly either. I tried to use a 5$ off coupon and when I got to the register the cashier told me "sorry our coupons aren't working this week" and refused to just take $5 off. Doing in-store pickup takes roughly 5-7 business days. I've left the store after seeing something and decided to order it via the app only to be told to come and pick it up next week. I asked why I couldn't take the one off the shelf and was told that's not how their system works. The logistics of this store are a nightmare yet I sit here writing this review in a Uniqlo polo. read more

I first discovered UNIQLO in San Francisco many years ago back when the Tyson's Corner location wasn't opened yet. Since then on I fell in love with this store and very happy to know that Pike and Rose opened their own location which is closer to me. The store is located next to Summer House and across from H&M and iPic. Parking is free in the garage for the first two hours with validation. Their clothing style caters to different age groups and prices are very reasonable. There was a big sale going on and I purchased a cute navy quilted jacket that was almost half off. I have a few of their basic shirts, hoodie, and a long winter jacket and I can tell you that the material is amazing. Very good quality for the price you pay. Really loved the experience of this store. They had great organization and layout. I loved that it was so easy to find a size and color due to the organized layout. All sections were well presented and stocked, with samples of each item hanging in the section so you could see and feel the fabric, and see a sample of each size to judge what you need. No need to open up a folded item to check it out for size, fabric, pattern, design. I found the outfits displays on the mannequins inspirational. Checkout was easy - just place items in a scanner bin, pay, and off you go! read more

Uniqlo is my favorite clothing store. I'm interested in keeping up with the basics but I see they often have stylish clothing. Work, recreation and home clothes... They have it. I enjoy the sales they often have and a tailor is always available. I also buy often there because of the fit. The heattech gear is great and so are their airism products. In the spring I'll definitely return to see what they have in store. read more

This location is conveniently located just outside of a parking garage in pike and rose. This is an extremely clean store front and in a very busy neighbor I have to give them a thumbs up for the organization within the store. They have great pricey and very up to date options for many! read more

I have bought a few nice things here but terrible service if you want to return something. I brought 2 pairs of socks in to return, each for 7.90. After waiting in line for 15 minutes we determined that I had brought in the wrong receipt. The tags were still on the socks, they hadn't even been tried on. They said they couldn't return without the receipt, nor give me a store credit. I asked if I could exchange for something else and was told it had to be the exact same price. At that point, I wAlked out of the store. read more

Poor customer service! I wore a pair of their low cut (no show) dry technology socks and they pilled from one wearing. I went to return them with the receipt and the manager refused them since they didn't have the tag. I complained the socks were defective but she refused to give me a credit. Ridiculous! I bought a load of gifts and things for myself online and used the PayPal option. I returned some things to the Tyson's corner store, no problem. I had to take back a few more pieces so I went to the Pike and Rose location. My fist trip there, I didn't have the packing slip with me. The packing slip is the only place where the price I paid was available. I thought I could look up the email receipt on my phone, but cleverly, (being cynical here) they don't include the itemized information on the receipt, so the store wouldn't take it back. So back at home, I located the packing slip with the details and went back to do my return but this time, because I used PayPal online, they offered only a store credit. FYI, I have received credit for a return on PayPal before. And, I was told the Tyson's store made a mistake because they should not have given me a refund. Customer service is Not Company Policy at Uniglo, and especially at this location! I like the products a lot, but due to crappy customer service I'm done! Here we are all shopping online ala covid, buying multiple sizes since we can't try clothes on, and uniglo puts up barriers to returns. Kinda fuming! I've shopped at uniglo in Seoul, Frankfurt, Chicago, Philadelphia, but this North Bethesda store is the pits. read more

I don't see how anyone can give this store anything less than five stars. In the multiple times I've been here, the store is immaculate, there's plenty of helpful staff, goods are well displayed and well stocked. And the clothes are fabulous, particularly at the prices. I wear their ponte knit pants to work along with the popover blouses. I get basics like their highly rated cotton undies for myself and my kids. Things to know for ladies: things tend to be cut/styled for the original (Asian) customer-- i.e., small chest and hips. So watch out for things like slash pockets, which can look pretty unflattering if you're curvy. The cut also tends toward the minimal and boxy which, again, you need to work with or you'll look like you're wearing a sack. Experiment! They have WONDERFUL stretch fabrics that tend to be stylish and forgiving, and also very comfortable. If you're going to the store, don't forget to check out their sale section, you can get some amazing deals (online too.) When they discount, they DISCOUNT. I stopped by the Uniqlo Pike and Rose store to pick up a couple of things and ended up with two pairs of gorgeous stretch denim dark wash jeans -- one for $5.99 and one for $9.99! Not only were they practically free, they're really nice looking. Finally: they don't have them on display right now but they have awesome shopping totes behind the counter (I suggested they put them up on the wall behind the cashiers.) Small and large, the large was $3, stylish and very well made. read more

Basic pieces (think Gap-ish). Mostly made in China. Prices also like Gap. Poor Customer service. Store policies: no fitting room use "because of CoViD". Not a MG County regulation. You may not even try on a coat on the sales floor. My son did and immediately the clerk made an announcement that "trying on clothes was not permitted". Seriously? Who would go into a fitting room to try on an overcoat even pre-pandemic? Returns with receipt within 30 days. No refund or store credit without a receipt even if the tag is still attached to the item. Bag fee $ 0.10 (not 0.5 for MD). I have been there a couple of time by now. Sales clerks are often snobby. Returned an item the other day, couldn't find the receipt at first. Clerk didn't even pretend wanting to help. Had to ask repeatedly that he verified my receipt. Finally he looked closely at the code and agreed that I had the correct receipt for the item. Finally had enough bad experiences. Not going back for sure. read more

Came here grand opening day! Real cool store. I'm a big fan of Uniqlo, and was excited to hear there would be one in Pike & Rose. Of course it was clean and well organized- and the staff was friendly and outgoing. Full house, and very live crowd. Great selection of clothing, plenty of colors, and perfect for building outfits. Uniqlo has always been great prices for good quality. Only thing I don't like is the location of the registers. The store seems spacious, yet the checkout seems like a tight space, in a cramped corner. Even so, I'm excited to come here for future needs. read more

Good store, but the fitting rooms really could be better. There's no room to hang anything... And a tiny stool is all you have. Where do you even set down the clothes you're wearing, plus your purse, etc.? And no multiple hooks to separate the wanted from unwanted items. read more

At size 14, Uniqlo thinks I am too fat to wear their clothing. Literally none of the clothing in this store could fit me. Even the size XL shirt was too tight in the chest. It's just as well, their clothing is insanely ugly. read more

Great venue, same quality and pricing. I'm a huge fan of Uniqlo since I was introduced to the brand about 2 yrs ago. The quality of clothing is quite surprising given the reasonable pricing. And yes their Heat Tech clothing is definitely worthwhile- they kept me warm in Finland in December! Huge fan and I'll always consider Uniqlo for fun items but also classic staples. UNIQLO is one of my favorite stores for comfortable cotton clothing at decent and sometimes great pricing. I love how the store is laid out -- it's easy to search through and find your size; the displays are attractive and the colors are current. I wanted to purchase a long-sleeved men's thermal wear shirt but needed to know which size would work. I knew that samples to try on in other UNIQLO stores are kept back by the changing rooms. I took the packaged shirt I wanted to try with me to the changing room. I had some difficulty explaining this to the person watching the changing rooms because she kept trying to give me scoop neckline women's shirts. Finally I went with the personal information approach and told her about my monkey arms. Women's long sleeves are way too short. Fortunately a manager nearby understood what I wanted to try on. I think the checkout process drags a bit. I feel as though the cashiers were uncomfortable. Probably it's because the store is still new. I'd have difficulty in this store on those days when I need to use crutches. The doors are extremely heavy and there's no button to push to auto open the doors for those on crutches, using a cane, or using a wheelchair. There's a step up to the part of the store that has the cashiers and changing room -- no easy ramp available. read more

A few weeks ago I picked up and paid for a coat held at the store. When Tonight, I took it out of the bag to gift-wrap it, and found the theft-detection device had not been removed. The only number listed for Uniqlo was for national customer service service number, which kept me on hold for 20 minutes, after which I was told that I should bring the coat back to the store to have the device removed (a 20 minute drive each way), but no offer of a price adjustment, despite the fact that the coat was shown on line for $20 less than what I paid for it. Then, to top it off, the web site did not even show the hours when the store would be open tomorrow. Later: I just went into the store and the manager was more than helpful , so I'm changing my rating read more

Happy to see a Uniqlo open in this area and not having to drive all the way to Tyson's. This store is nice, bright, and very well organized! I love the basic styles they carry and feel that their clothes are good quality, especially at their price points. I visited this location on a weekday afternoon and it was not too busy, but seemed well staffed. I had an issue finding an item and the manager was a great help and able to help me. We have bought several things on about a half dozen visits. We are very pleased with the quality, style and price of the clothing. It will be a great store to buy some gifts this year.
