I like that Kohl's is a convenient place to make Amazon returns so I come here periodically and also look around the store to shop. It usually goes pretty quickly but they do have internet issues that may make the process take longer. I would like to shop for longer at Kohl's but it is SO stuffy in the store because there is no air ventilation. The stale air makes me feel nauseous and sick, especially if I'm circling around the store looking at things. I feel like I can't breathe well and if I stay any longer I might pass out. Even when it's cold outside, it does not feel nice inside -- just warm and stale. I don't know how anyone could be here for long periods of time. My breath gets more shallow the longer I am in the store and I get very warm. Wearing a long sleeve feels so overwhelming and even though it's cold outside, it makes me wish I was wearing a short sleeve so I can cool off. Maybe it would make it more bearable. I have only been here for 15 minutes and I feel so sick. I don't know how the employees manage their shift here. I think it's better in the summer because their AC is on but it has been unbearable this season when they do not have any air circulation on in the store. The only bearable spot is near the entrance where air occasionally comes through as the door opens. Now I try to quickly get out of the store instead of taking the time to look around. Please turn on your air, even if it is just the fan mode. No temperature adjustment needed. The workers are pretty nice and my experiences have been good thus far but my only problem is with the store and it's stale air. If they want to encourage shoppers and business, they should really consider on turning a fan on so that there is air circulation throughout the store to make their experience more pleasant. read more

One star - absolutely unacceptable experience. I will never return to any Kohl's again after the terrible customer service I experienced at this location. While checking out with just two items, I told the cashier that the shoes I was buying were missing one shoe. She radioed someone for help and asked us (me, 6 months pregnant, my husband, and our toddler) to step aside so she could help the next customer. I understood--until she proceeded to help the same customer for over 20 minutes, while he kept calling other people up, and we were completely ignored. As time passed, I began to feel lightheaded. I have a history of blacking out from standing too long, so I had no choice but to sit on the floor. Nobody offered a chair. Nobody checked in. Eventually, the missing shoe was brought--but we were still ignored. My husband finally got back in line, and the male manager on duty (Tuesday afternoon) gave him a disgusted look, as if we were the problem. Here's the kicker: we had just made a purchase at the Sephora inside the store, and when the manager handed over the receipt, he intentionally ripped off the bottom portion--the part with the survey and review information. It felt shady, like he didn't want us to have a voice after what had just happened. No apology. No empathy. No decency. I was visibly pregnant, sitting on the floor with a toddler, and not one employee offered help or even basic courtesy. Absolutely disgusting service. read more

But recently I found out Kohls now has Babies R us! I was so excited I wanted to stop by and see what was going on and take a look, but I couldn't find it anywhere in the store, I was so confused because when you go to kohls website and click "find your Babies R us kohl store" this stockton location came up. This is the second Kohl's that I have ever shop in. The first one was in Colma, a very long time ago. What drew me here was Khol's had a great deal on Google Home for $99. I couldn't pass up a great deal so I ordered it online, and picked it up at this Stockton location. I gotta say - my experience was fantastic. I got in line, then showed my ID when it was my turn, shortly after that, the nice lady handed me my order and off I went! It was that simple. Quick and Easy!! I also ordered a bunch of bedding from Khol's which I got more great deal from Black Friday. Who knew that Khol's sold technology? I never would have thought. Really happy with my experience, and I hope Khol's will keep up their great work by providing all of their customers the best store experience possible. I used to think Kohl's is a great place but turns out it's one of those evil corporations that don't let their employees sit down because "it looks bad". I was appalled to see that employees have to stand on their feet for hours and hours on end, even when there is no service required of them. To the Management of Sephora Department, I recently visited the Kohl's Store in Stockton on President's Day. It was my first time at the Sephora's Dept. I know they specialize in makeup and other beauty products. I was looking to purchase a new fragrance. I approached the fragrance area where their were a few employees. One of them was unpacking merchandise. I watched to see if any of these young ladies would acknowledge my presence. I stood there about 5 feet away from them. I was not acknowledged, l finally said I was looking for a new fragrance. I expressed to one of the young ladies what fragrance I have used in the past. I asked her for a suggestion. At this point, I thought she would come over to help me. Instead of helping me, she said there were some fragrances over there. I honestly !didn't know where she was directing me to. " It was my first time at Sephora." I finally realized I was not going to receive the customer service I would normally would at this Kohl's Store. I have worked in customer service in the past, for several years as college students. I was one of these young ladies at one time. While being employed for this company, we were trained on what customer service is. Sadly to same what I observed at the Sephora's Deparment was not considered customer service. For only 9.99 , who would have thought that I'd be able to find them here at this store ?? Kohls is amazing but super expensive. I purchased some pants without trying them on during the holiday season and I went to return them as they didn't fit quite right. I paid $93 I only received $66 back because I used Kohl's cash. I physically paid $93 real dollars but Kohl's cash which is not real dollars anywhere else was not returned. I hate this return policy and I will not be shopping here again. read more

Kohl's Department store located in Park West Place shopping center on Trinity Parkway in Stockton, California. Yelp Challenge 25 /100. This review is mainly on all my shoe purchases. It's crazy, I thought I did a review here last summer. Sometimes I think yelp has termites lol. Unless, it got deleted, well who knows lol. I come to Kohl's mainly for my kids and I's gym shoes, they have pretty good sales here on the shoes. Plus I'm always getting coupons with discounts for shoes here. So I'll come and charge them on my Kohl's card. If you read my previous reviews, I love shoes lol. We don't come shopping here, in fact I never bought anything here really besides shoes. Well I'll give you the lowdown, Kohl's reminds me of Mervyns. Clothes wise, it's a notch above Target/Wal-Mart. Just a notch :) But I prefer Wal-Mart though. Note: Well you can pay your bill here at the cash register, just know they only take cash. Credit or Atm has to be paid at the Customer service desk. The restrooms are located in the Customer service area as well. I never had bad service here at all, the cashiers always been very helpful and curtiuos towards me. Thank God Kohl's came along and filled in the "empty" spot that Mervyn's closing left. What's not to like about Kohl's? Don't buy anything that is not on sale. Wait for their sales...they are always having great sales. Their "regular" prices are high. I recently went there with three of the $10 off on a purchase of $20 or more coupons. A nice lady in line in front of me handed me a 15% off coupon. I had a very patient employee helping me at the register. She rang up my six shirts in three separate transactions allowing me to use my three coupons AND applying that 15% off to each transaction. I wound up paying $39 for SIX shirts. Like I said...what's NOT to like about Kohl's? They are even open till 10 pm! read more

there is something very psychological about walking into a store with a sea full of XX% off signs, looking at a label with a full retail price, then looking up at its coordinating sign to see that it has been drastically "reduced". I give Kohls major props for pulling one over on America's bargain shoppers...and by America..i mean ME. (the formula is simple: put manufacturer retail tags on all its products with an inflated price, then constantly have sales that create frenzy for outrageous savings on otherwise 'expensive' items (according to the tags, of course) to feel like you have gotten a steal is only 1/2 the rush (the other 1/2 being that you actually scored something awesome, duh.) when it comes to shopping- whether it be for home decor, shoes, makeup, etc...kohls has got it covered. oh, and Kohls about that whole tag/inflated price thing?. i ain't mad atcha. read more

If I could give it 0 stars I would. The cashiers are extremely lazy, I came in and bought some clothes and they left all of the hard tags on. I had to ask them to take them off 3 times and the cashier gave me attitude after the 3rd time asking. Then I wanted to use expired Kohl's cash (you have 10 days to come in store and use them after the expiration date) and the cashier was too lazy to type in the barcode since it didn't want to scan but I didn't want anymore of my time wasted so I just left. $40 KOHLS CASH LOST!!!!! I don't have a Kohl's near me so I've only been to Kohl's just once before. Of course, my 2nd time coming was on Black Friday where my sisters and I braved the crowds to get our hands on some of the deals they were advertising. We arrived at 9am and either the crowds had already left or this place wasn't hit nearly as hard as other stores in the area. We were able to get everything that we went in for...and then some---at really great prices to boot. My sisters scored several pairs of cool boots that were nearly 50% after all the discounts. I on the other hand shopped for new pyrex no-leak food storage containers which were only 10% off. My saving grace was the discounts that I got at the register which gave an extra discount. I spent a total of $110 but received $92 in discounts according to my receipt--and even got $30 in Kohl's cash that was available to spend starting Nov. 29th. The lines to pay was what took the longest. We stayed in line for 35 minutes but the cashiers were very friendly once you got to the end. I don't shop at Kohl's very often but was very impressed with the savings and the level of service during a very busy holiday. Keep up the great work, Kohl's! read more

I remember one year where all the Christmas presents I bought for family and friends were from Kohl's! I saved so much money shopping during those days where you earn the Kohl's cash... such a good promo! I love that there is a wide assortment of STUFF, and that most of the quality is good. We frequent Kohl's for clearance bedding (all still modern design), and baby clothes. I like that they carry Carter's clothing for babies because that's my favorite brand. I also like the home decor section, as well as the home goods/baking section. Another favorite is the Flirt cosmetic line... specifically their blushes. Sometimes you can get a good deal on shoes (they send you tons of coupons, or you can find one almost every Sunday in the newspaper). I wish I had more time to shop, but being a busy mom I can't always make it out there! read more

If I haven't had luck at other stores and have all but given up looking for something particular, l always seem to find it withing a couple of minutes browsing here. Even though Kohl's has their perpetual sales, I normally find better deals at Ross or TJ Maxx. Speaking of sales, I don't know if there are any items NOT on sale here. I always say that you've gotta be the world's worst shopper to buy anything full price here. But on Black Friday, it was a different story. I knew something was up when I saw the crowds. Kohls has been my favorite go-to store for mainly clothes, jewelry, and seasonal items for many years. I've been a loyal customer since it came to town. I love the sales, the accompanying regular percentages off, and rewards given to customers as a sale item can become a fabulous purchase at great discount. The short: Seen one you've seen them all and you're going to get the same thing at this one as any other. The long: I really wish there were more places out there where you can get more individual and different clothing items, but that is just not what you find much these days. For those of us who pretty much hate going to a shopping mall and need some decent clothes for one event or another on the semi cheap you're options are pretty limited. The only thing that really saves this particular store is it is usually well organized and it is pretty clean. What I hate about Kohl's and it is something they all do is that they will open one register for 20 people trying to check out. You can occasionally find some decent deals and steals if you keep an eye out. Then again the stock changes so often you never know what you will find. What works: Store is overall pretty clean and organized for the brand. What to improve: Having more lines open when you have lines 5+ deep people. read more

Great place to find bargain diggs for those little ones that you love so dearly. Hit or miss for clothing for older folks - however, Kohl's carries the Vera Wang line, which has a few items that can really make your inexpensive wardrobe look more expensive. The best part about Kohl's are the sales. Everything there is on sale or marked down. The home and house section isn't bad either for frames and really big clocks. I used to love kohls and if it wasn't for the deals I wouldn't shop there period. They lack customer service. In the last few visits I've had not one person offer help and when I asked it took them so long I gave up and walked away from the area I was waiting for help in. The fitting rooms are a mess and nobody tends to them at all. None of the departments are kept up with. It's hard to find what I'm looking for when everything is scattered. The cashiers are usually friendly which is a plus and like I said the sales and deals are the only thing that keeps me coming back. Kohls needs a complete overhaul and new/more staff. read more

They hire high schoolers which is great. But when you have a paying customer who is spending over $100, they should be taught to focus on the paying customer. Not the thieves that were caught outside across the parking lot. The cashier made no eye contact and had her 2 teen coworkers standing around with her talking about the commotion outside. Then they overcharged me because of " payment delay" what's worse after they stole my money they stole my credit!!! They carry the biggest line of brands I love; Jockey, Bali, stuff you don't get to wear on the outside but really make a difference in how the outer garments look on you. If you've ever seen a gal bend over and duly noted she was sporting a g-string (this can sometimes be more distasteful or distracting (not in a good way) than a contractor plumber's line) or noticed she had more backs than you could count on her back, you've discovered the importance of undergarments This is why I need Kohl's. read more

#1) the place is always a mess. Sometimes I think DD's or Ross looks better. #2) customer service is subpar. Paid my Kohl's card and the chick in customer service looked less than enthused about getting a pay check. Almost like I was interrupting whatever she was doing. There's hardly an employee when I need help, and when I do need help I've had to wait 20 minutes for someone. Now, I've been looking for a Harry Potter sweater for some time now and a mannequin happened to be wearing one of the last. The problem with that tho is it's on top of the clothes rack out of reach. Now, I've had clothes taken off mannequins before, but those mannequins were within reach. I was willing to buy the sweater, as it looked to be my size. I asked a girl about taking it down (she asks me if it's my size....um idk know, that's why I'm asking you to take it down) and she gets on her walkie talkie thing and asks if that's possible. They can't. Now obviously they got it up there so I'm sure it can be taken down. If for some weird reason they're required to keep it up there for however long that would have been an acceptable excuse instead of "I don't know, she just said clothes can't come off the mannequins." This to me sounds like "I'm not taking it down because if you don't want it I'll have to put it back up" laziness. So clothes can come off mannequins that are within arms reach, but clothes can't come off mannequins that are out of arms reach. Hmm. Maybe I'll just go to the one in Lodi from now on. Those employees seem to be happy and grateful that they're receiving a pay check and are willing to help you to their full extent instead of being rude and lazy. I went to Kohls today and not one associate greet me or ask me for any assistance. Even two other costumers weren't being helped and they thought I work there. I felt obligated to assist them, since I am used to helping customers at my retail job and I also used to be an employer at the Lodi Kohls. Then on top of that I was so frustrated trying to shop for some lingerie, it was a total hot mess there were bras scattered all over the 5/$19.99 under wear tower. She then told them, very politely, that she was going to help me and if they could just hold on. Note she was always very polite and very gracious. They kept muttering horrible stuff in Spanish about her and then asked if they could get rung up there. She said they couldn't and they walked off talking smack. What horrible people...typical ghetto riff raff that wants the red carpet rolled out for them and can't understand store policy. So ten stars for the girls patience! Another ten stars for having small sizes in abundance! I never ever ever find size 0-1 pants in any store! I ended up walking out of there with two new pairs of jeans for $19.99 each. First pants I've gotten new in at least 4 years...cuz other stores don't have small sizes or if they do, they're $$. I also found two sofa cushions marked down from $32.99 to $6.59.
