Although busy, and facing a deadline, she had me perfectly fitted in less than 10 minutes, and promised to have the suit and shirt pressed and ready for me the Friday before Memorial Day. She even threw in the pink pocket square after asking my little sister's favorite color. She assured me that everything would be steamed and pressed, and there was no need to try anything on after taking 1/2" from the sleeves. Sure enough, I received a text at 10am Friday morning to remind me that my purchase was prepared. Everything fit wonderful, and I received so many compliments that it made a tough situation much better. So glad to find a great place like this minutes from my home.

It's mostly a store for men, but I've found a few things that even I've been able to wear. During the street fair, they sell t-shirts and hoodies for women. I wouldn't have any Red Wings, Tigers, or Lions gear without this store! They don't only sell fancy suits, ties, shirts, and shoes! They also sell a lot of affordable accessories like keychains, tie clips, shaving needs, and cuff links, so it's a great place to go buy a gift for the guys in your life. My dad LOVES Tommy Bahama and Chelsea has a huge selection, so I always check here first. I think I've gotten a gift here for every guy I've ever dated, now that I think about it. They have great sales ALL the time. I am so surprised to read about "bad service" here. All of the people who work at Chelsea have been nothing but attentive, knowledgable, and helpful every single time I've shopped there! There were probably way more people in the store than a fire marshal would allow. Products all over the floor, strewn about. And again, this is a brand new store... why design the store with seven checkout lanes if you're only going to have four open on one of the busiest shopping days? Gripes aside, it's a decent store with a slightly different selection than your average TJ Maxx and Marshall's. As we got away from the clothing/shoes/accessories, we found the home goods section to be in much better order. We picked up a few nice picture frames for less than $10 each, so I'd call that a win. They also had a great selection of auto accessories, surprisingly. The wait in line was about a half hour... very ridiculous. Anyway, they need more cashiers on duty to handle demand and also dedicated staff to keep stock off the floor.

It is really hit or miss. The store is usually clean & organized. The prices are usually good if you can find a treasure. However, the next door neighbor, TJ Maxx, usually has a better selection. I arrived at the store well before 9pm to pick up my layaway. However, due to their long lines and only she and another young lady working, the line moved very slow. At 9:08pm, she announced that layaway and the dressing room was closed. However, due to me standing in line for over 20 minutes I didn't believe I'd have a problem picking up my layway. When I approached her I had two items to purchase and informed her that I was also picking up a layway, to which she replied, "layaway is closed". I told her I understood, but I was in line well before the cut off and would appreciate it if she would get it. After mumbling under her breath, she said, "well you gone be waiting I got a long line of customers and I'm not walking all the way back there to get it right now". I was appalled, but stood back while she called someone over and asked if I could speak to a manager instead. She told me you can call corporate or come back tomorrow at 9am and walked towards the security guard. Rather than identify her name and position, she walked over to the security guard to escort me out. I walked to the security guard and also asked for the manager which he identified her as Sherikka. Shame on you Burlington for employing someone who has no regards for customer service.

This was the worst shopping experience I have ever faced in the large number of stores I have visited in and out of state.
