During the test drive when I put the vehicle in reverse it stuttered a bit and I wrote it off as a coincidence and me getting used to the pedal because it didn't happen again out the door ended up paying $15,000 for the vehicle and as soon as I pulled off the lot check engine light came on as well as the light that said service four-wheel-drive. The dealership was closed when I left And since I live 2 1/2 hours away, I decided to drive Home and call them first thing in the morning. When I called them, they reassured me on the phone that Any issues like this and they said bring the And we'll take a look at it. I had the codes ran myself faulty O2 sensor amongst Other issues that seem to be more severe. They inspected the vehicle turned the light off And we're not Willing to help me fix the issue with the vehicle. They had me talk to sales management. I told them that I had suspicion that they had turned the light off and I felt like they were aware it was on and chose not to disclose the information voiding the as is sale. From this point on everything got out of hand. They became very defensive to the point Of calling the police on me after offering to help me fix it for 25% off. I accepted their offer for the discount But they still had me trespassed on the property So I was not able to accept the offer. Do you not Buy a used vehicle from them. If calling the police On a dissatisfied customer who is simply communicating Does not scream that something is off I don't know what does. Aside from the burden of selling a car they knew was messed up they had me drive 5 hours with my 7 month old son and his mother just to call the cops on me because I asked them questions that made them uncomfortable with what they had done.

I have taken my cars to Fred for over 20 years. I drove my 2006 Elantra to 304,000 miles, mainly because Fred maintained it for most of its life. My 2023 Elantra has 50k on it and was recently serviced by Fred. I had a fuel induction/injector cleaning service (I think that is what it is called lol) and the car is running as good as the day it was brand new. I highly recommend Fred and his crew. One month into having the car the engine light goes on. That cost me 137.06, I BOUGHT THIS CAR FROM THIS COMPANY! Then one month ago I took my car in for a battery change, I find out my battery was 9 years old. Oh, have I mentioned that I BOUGHT THE CAR FROM THIS COMPANY?! Well, I did, so I feel like this company should have put in a NEW battery since it was old to begin with, and check out the car so it wouldn't have to be taken in immediately. The car was also shaking, but I didn't know what was making it do that. I did open the hood and saw a belt was loose. So, this mechanic shop puts on a new serpentine belt, and this costs me 275.86 on 3/6/14. Then I take it in on, 4/16/14 because there's a new noise, so I take it to them again. I then get a call to come get my car after a day this man tells me "I don't know how much your bill is be. We will call you about it next week." NO ONE CALLS TO TELL ME HOW MUCH THE BILL IS! M-N TAKES THEIR SWEET TIME CALLING ME ABOUT MY BILL THEN MAKE ME FEEL LIKE IT'S MY FAULT! The man tells me my bill is 428.68 for a stripped harmonic balancer which Bill states "I have never seen one stripped before" I wonder why? MAYBE THIS MECHANIC COMPANY STRIPPED IT?! WHY DIDN'T THEY FIND IT LAST MONTH? . I go to M-N and tell them I already paid for the serpentine belt! So, the man I talked to ,Bill, says to me after I say I already paid for the serpentine belt, I shouldn't have to pay for it again. I also ask him why this mechanic shop didn't see this 2 weeks ago? Bill , says to me "I took the serpentine belt off, which I had every right to make you pay for it". So, not only does this company FAIL to check the car fully and only rely on info the customer says they are also RUDE! I don't think I should have to pay 2 times for a belt that should have been fixed THE FIRST TIME I TOOK IT IN!? I'm sorry this company made me write a negative review on yelp, but I bought both my cars from this company, BOTH cars had things wrong with them AS SOON AS I GOT THEM. Then the people who work there are rude! What else can I do when I feel ripped off? Tom, the owner is a nice man, I have nothing but nice things to say about him.
