I entered this place today at the Bronx Bay Plaza Mall store, June 3, 2026, at 230pm and asked the server if I could sit a an empty table. The server told me "no," and to "sit in a singular seat." I have a bad knee problem and need leg room and their single seats are not accommodating. She was very rude, short, curt and unprofessional. In addition, this was denial of a reasonable accommodation, which is illegal in NY. I called and asked to speak to the GM and she refused to give me that persons name or her name. The quality of the sushi was OK. What do you expect from a mall sushi? Went was my kids because we thought it was a fun concept. The wait staff stood around just out of earshot and avoids eye contact. It was hard to flag them down for water and we never got a refill. We had a hair in our udon and we had to flag them down for a replacement. They charged a service fee and on top of that another tip, but we didn't get any service, so that annoyed me. read more

This is no longer a revolving sushi restaurant, except on weekends. They need to change the name since this feature is only an option 25% of the time. 5 days a week it is a regular sushi spot with really bad service. The bad service used to not bother me much since I knew I could sit down and immediately pull whatever I wanted to eat off the conveyor belt without relying on someone to come by. Now you wait. I thought that being able to order from the QR code was going to speed things up, but no. We just say there. No water. No tea. No service. Staring at a stationary belt & watching the food train bring out order after order for the opposite side of the restaurant. When I finally got up to interact with one of the employees that are permanently affixed to the front counter, they just blinked at me when I asked what was happening with the RAW food that I had ordered. No one was cooking it, after all. It wasn't until I said to cancel the order because we were leaving (since no one card to even look into it) that one of the employees wrenched herself away from the counter and went back to the kitchen to investigate. When she came out and told us that the food would be ready "soon" (maybe 5 more minutes) I knew that our order had been completely ignored. So we walked out. Let the kitchen staff eat it. The food comes out very fast the ambiance is very light and nice. They have this robot train set. If you see the numbers on the stations where people are sitting it actually comes and delivers the food. You don't have to wait for a waitress to come and bring it to you. It's amazing. March 1, 2025: Unfortunately, I was not happy with their service and food. The Ramen , Godzilla Roll, Calamari and chicken wings were the worse I had lately. The service was very poor, had to remind the waitress that one of our order for Romen were missing food which included egg. When we questioned our order they wanted to give after the fact. The calamari was rubbery and not tasty at all. The house special for wings were not tasty. To top it off did not realized an automatic gratuity, which it is illegal and must be used only for party of 6 or more and stated on menu, was added already given the fact I cash tipped, I had to circled the gratuity to show you how small it is on the receipt . I noticed when I was in the car it was added. According to my receipt the waitress taken care of our group was named Samantha. There were many customers who were there with limited help from the one waitress which is poor management. I definitely would not return. Food very expensive and not worth it at all. New spot that opened up and theres not many rotating sushi places around NY unless you head into Manhattan or go to NJ. They have this really nice looking artwork on the walls which creates a pretty cool atmosphere. The sushi is only $3 per plate and they also have this musical train rail that delivers special orders directly to your table. My review is about the restaurant's business practices. This may be common to some, but this is new to me because I recently started trying out restaurants in my area. Before you pay your check, please look it over carefully. A 10% "service charge" is already tacked on the bill. Don't be confused by the "tip suggestions" below. Otherwise, you will be tipping way more than you usually would. The server told me that the charge goes toward the tip amount. Therefore, if you are tipping 15%, add another half of the service charge. If you are tipping 20%, just match the service charge, etc. I added $4 which made my tip to be 25%. FYI, I miscalculated. Anyway, we only ordered the bento box and one ramen soup. The beef in the bento box was a tad salty. There wasn't much in my ramen soup. About 3 thin slices of pork, some bamboo shoots, and half of one hard-boiled egg to go with the noodles. I went to try out the "revolving" concept. The place, overall, is decent. I came here to eat a little over 3-4 days ago and my experience was absolutely terrible. I'm not sure who's actually IN CHARGE at this establishment but the treatment of customers and employees are absolutely ATROCIOUS. My food took way more than 20 minutes to come and my orders were continuously INCORRECT. This one lady with glasses constantly pushes employees to bother customers despite them being extremely uncomfortable. I even had a conversation with one of the servers and they explained she's their boss and her attitude towards them is disgusting and it seems as though they have a lot of unfair treatment in their workplace. I was happy to see a revolving sushi restaurant in the Bronx. Ramen was good. Salmon sashimi was not as fresh as I'm used to. The other rolls were good. My complaint was that they have a service charge but it's not for the tip. A staff member told me that the service charge was just for the chefs in the back while the tip was I guess for the staff in the front. I don't think that it's fair. I went to this restaurant because I was so excited about a revolving sushi place. I went 6/18/23 today is 6/20/23 , I went with two other people. Yesterday morning the 19th one of them was throwing up early in the morning ended up in the hospital with diarrhea and vomiting. Turns out food poisoning. I brushed it off because that friend eats things like fast food and processed garbage so I thought it was their body's reaction to fresh food. So even though it was terrible and I didn't eat anything more than a sip I had to pay. The service wasn't the best and the price on the plates was different from the menu and the bill was a surprise to me. I had 4 yellow plates and 1 blue plate and 2 red plates which the sign said was 2.99, 3.99 and 4.99 however I ended up paying 80$. I wouldn't recommend. When I walked in I was disappointed immediately with the design of the restaurant as it sounds like something completely different online and the photos were not what I'd describe as accurate when I looked it up before i came.
