After work, a few people wanted to go get dinner. They raved about "Edo Japanese Steakhouse." I couldn't say no, I mean they drove, so I went to the steakhouse. Parking was good, the place is in a center so that helped. Inside, the place was big. A lot of sitting. A waitress takes your orders, but the main attraction is the personal chef. He prepares your food in front of you and even toss some in your mouth. If you're thirsty, don't worry, he takes care of that too, but be careful, I'm told it's not water he's serving. Once he's done, you get a huge meal. Make sure you come hungry, and take home is an option. I liked the food. It wasn't like I'm going to sing it from the roof tops, but it was good. I probably wouldn't go on my own, but who knows. If my peers want to eat and they drag me there again, I wouldn't say no.

Nasty bad tasting salmon and teeny tiny shrimp

My husband ordered 2 salmon and shrimp meals to go. The food was absolute trash. The worst tasting salmon I have ever had. Overcooked and hard and the shrimp were so tiny and overcooked too! I'm sure the prices have increased and the food quality has decreased. This will be our last time getting food from this restaurant. I'm so tired of wasting my good money on bad food! I'm having nightmares about that hard, bad tasting salmon .

Although we had reservations we had to wait a significant amount of time to be seated with other guests and received no communication. The service was not up to par. The ambiance is pretty loud with lots of noises and a lot going on -- it's what you would expect at a hibachi restaurant. good overall family vibes and conversing with the chefs. The food was pretty good. i'd go back for sure. we got rock shrimp and skirt steak with shrimp. it was pretty good and a lot of the meal was very filling. They charge a sharing fee and this came out of no where and wasn't notified about it. B rating

Amazing food, have been going here for years and I don't think any other hibachi place compares.

Entertaining chefs. Good food. Quality and quantity. Be prepared to share a table. A little loud but enjoyable.

Food , service and drinks were good. I always order the steak and lobster. However, this time the lobster was a little anorexic.

Do they cook with peanut oil?

No! I have a severe nut allergy and I've eaten here 5+ times. They use a veggie oil when cooking on the hibachi grill.

What's the maximum amount of people you can reserve for?

U can do a reservation for as many people as you like they move things around to fit and accommodate the flow of the evening. I saw them do wonders for a family of 18 people.

Some sections of the restaurant require walking up small sets of stairs, so they may not be accessible for all. Our table had couch seating on one side and was comfortable, but the table itself was a tiny bit small when accommodating a bunch of plates and glasses. To drink, I had the pomegranate martini. It was quite strong, fruity, and not overly sweet. My husband had the bees knees. It was juicy and flavorful. To start, we had a salad from the specials menu. It included mandarins, kiwi, goat cheese, almonds, and arugula. It was a large portion size and crisp and refreshing. We also had the spinach artichoke dip, which was rich and tasted very fresh. For my main, I had the penne. I loved the tomato cream sauce. I also got a side of onion rings. They were shoestring style, which I wasn't expecting, but they were piping hot and very tasty. My husband enjoyed his steak, but one should note that the dish is literally just steak, so you need to order sides separately if you want any accompaniments. For dessert, we had the lemon tart. It was lovely, especially with the accompanying berries. Our waiter was excellent. The only negative was that I asked for a special dessert and candle for my husband's birthday and they completely forgot. I even called earlier in the day to confirm they would be able to do it. So that was a slight disappointment, but otherwise it was a great meal.

The oysters were a little variable in size, but they were good. My almond-crust sole was good but could have been a little lighter on the almond. The filet mignon was good, though we cooked it a little longer at home. (It was cooked well, but the personal preference was a little more cooked.) I enjoyed the flourless chocolate cake ($12) too! I look forward to visiting in person someday soon.

The service and food, on the other hand, were quite a mixed bag. We ordered a margherita pizza, pancake tacos, steak and eggs, and French toast with a side of sausage--the pizza, at least, was good. However, the "French toast" was more like an anemic panini press trying to pass as French toast. The steak and eggs comprised of a fairly well-cooked (that is, it was the right temperature) yet underseasoned steak of a relatively dubious cut, underseasoned home fries, and eggs done wrong (sunny side instead of over easy). The lattermost was the start of the problem, as I was willing to give it a shot, but found the texture off-putting. In light of this, I brought the problem to our server Adalia, who brought it to her manager Elvia. Thankfully I had someone else with me to tell me what happened: Elvia came over without addressing me on their error, silently took a look at my plate and instructed Adalia to have the kitchen put the eggs back on the fire. She takes my plate to extract the eggs, and brings them back (unsurprisingly) completely overdone, first in Elvia's hands, then in Adalia's for her to serve; we send for a refire, and they come back correct 7 minutes or so after I've already finished eating. Considering the hassle it took to get them, I couldn't trust it enough to eat, leading them to waste as well. After all was said and done, the GM Amer comes over to see how things were, and was thankfully helpful and understanding of our situation. Here's the rub: I was initially willing to overlook the steak, the home fries, and even the eggs if the error was properly ameliorated. Adalia and Amer both did very well, and I'm grateful for them for that; Elvia, on the other hand, managed to break the chain of competent customer service by directing the server to handle the problem in a way that was set up for failure (if you mess up an egg, it's an immediate refire because of how the egg cooks in the first place -- Amer also arrested to that policy) all without addressing us and taking accountability, due to negligence or whatever else. Not only that, but when sending the incorrect eggs over the second time, she couldn't even bring it to us herself--it would have been easy, seeing as she was the one that originally had them--and left Adalia and her tip to potentially take the fire if the patrons happen to be angry. Mistakes are fine--everyone makes them--but I'd describe this as cowardly more than anything else, and I take issue with that in particular from a leadership standpoint. While Amer graciously extended an invitation for a better experience next time, I can't say I'll be taking him up on the offer when their service and food are this misaligned; unfortunately, a disappointment overall.

We were a party of 7, and we all felt cared for, the staff was understanding, and attentive from the moment we sat down to leave. Each member in my party had something diffferent: 1. Chicken sandwich 2. Burger 3. Ahi tuna tacos 4. Carbonora (x2) 5. Chicken capricossa 6. Chicken Parm - and even accommodated vodka sauce instead of regular marinara sauce.
