I tried one of their new sparkling teas and added boba and lychee jelly. It was good but way too sweet. I would suggest less of the syrup next time. The young lady behind the counter was friendly and even offered me a sample of a different drink to try without me asking. I'll try one of the other flavors next time.

After months of searching for a decent boba drink, Kokee Tea in Lexington Market delivered!! Got the strawberry milk tea with tapioca pearls and it was EVERYTHING I wanted. So sweet and delicious! Boba perfectly chewy and delightful. Why can't I get this closer to home?? I'd get it at least once a week.

Located within the new Lexington market is a bubble tea place. It's currently in their soft opening phase and offer only 1 size and no prices shown. I ordered brown sugar milk tea and it cost me $6.61. It took a while to get my drink and I can see the woman looking up how to make the drink. Honestly the taste was just ok and the tapioca pearls were not sweet enough and overcooked. For the amount I'm paying, I'm not sure if it's worth it. But considering it's still in soft opening, I might give this place another try when they've settled in.

The renovated and historic Lexington Market is a must visit and Kokee Tea is a sweet addition. The employees are kind and the teas are delicious. Perfect dessert after a meal or simply a great refreshing drink! They also have macaroons and other snacks which I enjoyed. If you've never tried bubble tea, you'd want this to be your first! The house milk tea with the bubbles is my favorite!

I went with a sweetened hot matcha latte. The pastry display was empty and I didn't ask if they had anything. The coffee dip is small, hosting about 4 small tables and 1 long community table. While waiting one lady said to her friends "the coffee here is fire", that got me excited My matcha was ready within minutes, first sip, it's warm and only okay. Nothing special about it at all, but it served its purpose. I plan to be a frequent visitor because I really, really like the feel of the place, it's close to my office and I want to try the "Fire" coffee. I believe her!

The coffee was good, but it felt more like a chain coffee shop than a specialty café. The syrups appeared to be standard rather than house-made, so it didn't have the craft coffee experience I was hoping for. During my visit, my iced latte had quite a bit of ice, and when the lid was put on, some of the espresso spilled over the sides of the cup. The cup was quickly wiped off and handed to me, which was a little disappointing. Overall, it's a convenient option if you're nearby and need a quick coffee, but I'd probably explore other local coffee shops first if I had the time.

When looking through the menu, I noticed the brisket panini had been removed. I asked the staff about it, but they weren't sure why it was no longer available. That sandwich was actually what I originally knew Llamas' Corner for after seeing it on TikTok, so I was really disappointed to see it gone. Hopefully they consider bringing it back! I also ordered two iced lattes, one with oat milk, boba, and caramel, and another with oat milk and pumpkin syrup. When I received them, both drinks had boba even though only one was supposed to. When I asked for the pumpkin drink to be remade, one of the baristas (the women in the pink long sweater) initially poured the same drink over and attempted to hand it back to me instead of making a fresh one (the bar was not busy or backed up btw.) When I asked for it to actually be remade, there seemed to be a bit of attitude. She did make a fresh drink after I specifically asked whether new espresso shots had been pulled. That part of the experience was disappointing and concerning because if someone asks for a drink to be remade due to an ingredient that wasn't ordered, simply pouring the same drink into another cup doesn't actually correct the issue. While boba wasn't an allergy concern for me personally, it made me wonder how a situation involving an actual food allergy would be handled.
