Last week we were in here for our anniversary (it was belated from October) and tonight we came…read moreback for my birthday. The highlight? Our waiter- Collin! Both times he was great. As for food... we have been coming here for YEARS, and the consistency in dishes/drinks is not there. It makes me extremely sad, especially when we pay well over $200 each visit. For example- I always get the Chilean Sea Bass- many times it's lightly seared, leaving the fish delicate in tenderness and flavor. Tonight it was like Furr's Cafeteria . It was heavy with oil and the outside was extremely crispy, like a deep fried filet- so discouraging. As for dessert, I was offered a "complimentary" one for my birthday, but was still charged $12.00 for it. I didn't say anything... but really??? I had this same dessert last week, and this week the pretzel crusted bottom was far too buttery and over-powering-- so not only did the "complimentary" birthday dessert cost, it also was not finished. Finally, the evening started with drinks- my choice, an espresso martini. At the bar, the lady asked if I wanted "creamy and sweet" and I said "neither"-- what she gave me was AMAZING! She said if I reordered at the table later to say the same to our waiter, with my name. I did, and ... yikes- not even close to the same flavor. Overall, we love coming here for the atmosphere and waitstaff, but the consistency in quality of food keeps regressing. It truly makes me sad.
