Smokin' F BBQ & Barn - Drink station

OVER RATED..... Don't arrive too hungry, you've gotta be ready to stand in a LONG line to get to…read morewhere the food is actually served. While you wait in the line, often much of the food becomes "sold out!" so definitely don't get your heart set on anything special you may want to order. I often want just a baked potato without any meat on it (just a simple baked potato) - but the youngsters running the place can't seem to sell me one without the meat! It's very frustrating honestly. Since I can't get my potato, I just order the mixed berry cobbler, which is outstanding but always fearful that it's not sold out by the time I get to the front of the line. The best thing about Smokin F BBQ is the ambiance of the live entertainment with both inside/outside seating, the longhorn cattle and the petting zoo.

Just have to say this as our friends that took us suggested we bring our boots. You just never know in July in TN! The young man that greeted us was very nice. It cost $2 per person to cover the guy singing and any soft drinks you want to drink. Coca-cola products! Got to love it! Anything else is BYOB. We got in line and figured out what we wanted to order after chatting with the couple in front of us and our friends. The young ladies at the serving "bar" explained the whole process. It's was all so good. Just need to go back to try everything else! One of the owners told my husband he liked his Detroit Red Wing's shirt! I thought they were from Texas but we will welcome more Red Wings fans! Honestly, you can't go wrong with any thing on their menu! Looking forward to our next dinner here!

On every occasion, all our food has come to the table COLD. While the staff is eager to remake it once we say something, the issue is never fixed on the front end which leads to a lot of wasted food..which is frustrating and completely avoidable. We keep coming back hoping it's finally been addressed, and it never has. The overall experience feels extremely low-effort. Food is served on paper & with plastic, which immediately cheapens the visit. Much of the food comes out looking unappetizing, as if it's been slopped onto the plate, and at times it even looks microwaved rather than freshly prepared--especially disappointing for a BBQ restaurant. The food being delivered by a robot is also completely out of place and honestly awkward. It doesn't fit the restaurant at all and draws uncomfortable attention when it comes to the table rather than enhancing the experience. The bathrooms are another issue. They've been dirty on multiple visits, and there are no paper towels at all--only one of those hand blow-dryers. That might work in an airport, but it's incredibly impractical in a restaurant, especially when you're trying to clean kids' hands or faces after messy BBQ. The only reason we've continued to give this place chances is the friendly staff, and the hope that maybe the next visit would finally be better. The ice cream shop next door is honestly one of the biggest reasons we stop at all. Overall, the experience feels bare minimum. I'd rather run through a drive thru chain. It's unfortunate because this place has potential..but it's hard to recommend unless real changes are made. For now this was our last visit.
