Wow! What a way to ruin a once great family BBQ restaurant. My wife, mother in-law,grandson and I were passing through the area and remembered how good this restaurant was so we thought we would stop in for a quick bite. I wish we would have listened to my grandson and went to the Burger King. We arrived a little late as we had been traveling so it was 25min until 8:00pm which is closing time. This restaurant is trying to copy the big brand chain BBQ restaurants and no longer have a waiter come to your table you order I call it concession stand style at the door basically. We were greeted by a girl who kept looking at us like we were a burden for coming in 25min before closing. While we were trying to look at the menu which is on the wall behind the counter employees in the kitchen kept looking out the window as if we were taking too long to order. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich my wife,mother in-law,and grandson ordered a baked potato. We also ordered three fountain drinks and my wife ordered a draft beer.For a very small pulled pork sandwich, three baked potatoes,three fountain drinks, and two beers our bill was $74.67. This is one of those restaurants that charge you a Tip prior to receiving any service so my added tip was $10.00 for them to bring the food to our table and let us know that if any of us was drinking tea that they were pouring it out because it was 10 minutes till closing. I guess when you get out of your car at a BBQ restaurant and don't smell smoke or BBQ that's a good sign to leave. Pulled pork =BLA no smoke flavor I believe it was crockpot pork.Potatoes hard half cold half boiling hot just like microwave potatoes. If this wasn't in such a small town there is no doubt it would not be in business! Take my advice. Do not waste your time or money here. Go to Burger King. The food was so bad and the portions so small I didn't bother taking any pictures. Good BBQ place. We stayed in site with Harvest Host and after a long day of driving, I really wanted some BBQ. They have a nice variety on the menu of both apps, mains and sides. My wife went with the pulled pork, Mac & cheese and tots. I went with a 3 item and an additional side of ribs. The pulled pork was the star of the meal, juicy and full of flavor. I also got the brisket and a some a tea fatty brisket. As a lover of brisket, I thought it was okay. The he ribs were fall of the bone tender, there was nothing left on the bones. The meat was flavorful and I really enjoyed their house sauce. One of the sides I got was the fried orca, which was a winner! I also really liked the hush puppies. It may be a wonderful place for lunch or dinner but I did stop by around 2:30pm so that may be why it was like it was. Nothing was horrible but the fries were not even warm and felt as if they'd been just laying around a while. The cornbread felt a few days old and the mac n cheese was just basic. The meat was good with the bbq sauce options on the table. Not sure I'd stop by this one again but it may be a lot better for lunch time or dinner time than the middle time. This has happened several times even when we arrive early - i'm not really interested in having a baked potato for breakfast but apparently that's what it takes to get one from this place.... We've been to Bradley's BBQ around 8-10 times now, and unfortunately this has been a consistent problem, not a one-off experience. On every occasion, all our food has come to the table COLD. While the staff is eager to remake it once we say something, the issue is never fixed on the front end which leads to a lot of wasted food..which is frustrating and completely avoidable. We keep coming back hoping it's finally been addressed, and it never has. The overall experience feels extremely low-effort. Food is served on paper & with plastic, which immediately cheapens the visit. Much of the food comes out looking unappetizing, as if it's been slopped onto the plate, and at times it even looks microwaved rather than freshly prepared--especially disappointing for a BBQ restaurant. The food being delivered by a robot is also completely out of place and honestly awkward. It doesn't fit the restaurant at all and draws uncomfortable attention when it comes to the table rather than enhancing the experience. The bathrooms are another issue. They've been dirty on multiple visits, and there are no paper towels at all--only one of those hand blow-dryers. That might work in an airport, but it's incredibly impractical in a restaurant, especially when you're trying to clean kids' hands or faces after messy BBQ. The only reason we've continued to give this place chances is the friendly staff, and the hope that maybe the next visit would finally be better. The ice cream shop next door is honestly one of the biggest reasons we stop at all. Overall, the experience feels bare minimum. I'd rather run through a drive thru chain. It's unfortunate because this place has potential..but it's hard to recommend unless real changes are made. For now this was our last visit. read more

Passing through town en route to "Lost Sea Adventure" and saw the parking lot to Bradley's was packed. So after my cave tour, I stopped by for a late lunch before hitting road to Chattanooga. Very friendly staff with excellent help navigating some complicated food allergies. Large seating area inside and outside. Very well maintained and clean. I am picky about my BBQ sauce and really enjoyed theirs! The brisket was tender and the chicken tasty. Not a morsel of my meal was left. They offered a Sweetwater IPA that was grapefruit and it was actually pretty decent considering I'm not crazy about IPAs. I got the Homemade chicken salad and it was chunks of chicken that I've been smoked throughout the day and fall to pieces. It was quite delicious on a freshly toasted sourdough bread. And the hush puppies were extremely moist and very well flavor crunchy on the outside soft on the inside. My uncle ended up getting a basket of smoked plain wings. The smoke flavor was beyond and absolutely wonderful! The place was neat with all their little robots delivering food, and the servers were extremely friendly. Afterwards, we decided to check out their ice cream shop, which was amazing. If you are dining in, they'll give you a table tent to put at your table and they'll bring the food to you. The cashier and waitress was so so kind and guided us through the decision making process. She had recommended their Philly cheesesteak (as one of their most popular items and said the "make your own potato" was pretty popular as well). We also ordered a sample three consisting of pulled pork, sausage, brisket. Sides of Mac and cheese and hush puppies. She said the other popular items were the piggies or burgers. The Philly cheesesteak was so so good, but we were disappointed with the sample 3 because the meat was cold *eek*. We stopped by here for an early dinner after visiting the Lost Sea. The girls at the front counter were very friendly and patient while we figured out what we wanted. I got a piggy with chips and pulled pork and vinegar bbq sauce. My husband got brisket piggy over fries. Our order was brought out on a robot, guided by a server. It is with a heavy heart that I write this review. Unfortunately, in our experience with Bradley's BBQ, we have literally been served cold food every single time we've visited. Not just slightly warm -- almost lukewarm. When you're paying full price for what should be a hot, freshly prepared meal, that's incredibly disappointing. Each time, we've politely notified the staff, who are quick and eager to take the food back to "fix" the issue. While we appreciate their willingness to help, this results in long waits and a significant amount of food being returned to the kitchen and ultimately thrown away. What's most frustrating is that many other reviews here mention the exact same issue with cold food. This appears to be an ongoing, known problem. What I truly don't understand is why ownership hasn't addressed this at the root. Restaurant food should be held and served at safe, appropriate temperatures -- not only for quality, but also to avoid potential foodborne illness. Fixing this problem would undoubtedly lead to happier customers and far more return business. The overall dining experience is further diminished by the heavy use of disposable paper goods. While we were thankful to see real, stainless steel silverware finally introduced, literally everything else -- trays, plates, and serving items -- is cheap, disposable, and throwaway. It significantly cheapens the experience and clashes with the idea of a quality BBQ restaurant. Another aspect that feels completely out of place is the service robot. The dining room clearly aims for a hometown, country BBQ vibe -- and then suddenly an awkward robot rolls out, with a server walking directly behind it anyway. It's cringey, unnecessary, and detracts from the atmosphere rather than enhancing it. In our opinion, ownership should be far more focused on improving food temperature, food quality, and the overall dining experience instead of relying on gimmicks. It's really a shame, because this place could be great. Unfortunately, until some serious improvements are made, we will not be returning. read more

AWFUL!!! My wife and I stopped in while passing through Sweetwater, we ordered the 3 meat sampler, brisket, pulled pork and ribs with 2 sides to share. When the food arrived at our table none of it was hot including our baked potato and beans. The pork was very dry, the brisket was tough and the ribs were inedible along with the cornbread. My wife and I are here in Sweetwater, TN to attend a family wedding. We asked the front desk clerk at the Holiday Inn Express for a good place for lunch and they highly recommended Bradley's Pit Barbecue and Grill. They were spot on with their suggestion to try Bradley's. Our meal was great and we could not have had a better wait staff. We shared our experience with other family members that were here for the wedding and we decided to go to Bradley's for dinner. There were eight in our party. All our food was fantastic and we were treated as though we owned the place. The staff went up and beyond to make sure that we ( and the other patrons eating there ) had a great dining experience. I am 72 years old and I am very proud to make the following statement. In all my years I have never ever had the experience we all had tonight. All the food, regardless of who ordered what meal, was spectacular and flavorful. All of our plates were "cleaned". The environment was clean, comforting, and inviting. The entire staff was very accommodating. Everyone, especially Jessie, Deb, and Mel, went up and beyond to make sure we had the best dining experience. We really appreciated their smiles, enthusiasm, and friendly service they provided. I have never felt this strong about any restaurant in my entire life.
