Jeff Haverlah -- failed to complete the contract and thus stole money from me. When I gave him…read moremoney for materials, he would spend it on non-project purchases. He never ordered some of the windows he was supposed to install for me and when it was time for him to complete part of the contract which required him to spend money, that portion was never completed. He began my contract in December and finally walked off of the job last month leaving behind 3 job boxes containing some cheap tools. Just as well, he didn't know how to use them anyway. He framed 9 window openings and 1 door opening and put headers in none of them. I told him I wanted 3-0 x 6-0 windows, assuming he would know that was the finished window size for a standard window. I even had a window for him to measure. Instead, he ordered windows using that as a rough opening size. So I have to reorder those windows. He instructed his employee to install my 117 siding upside down - so all the water runoff from one board would be collected in the groove of the board below it. Fortunately, I caught his employee when he completed only 1 wall and had him remove that siding. He hasn't contacted me since, showing he is just as poor an excuse of a man as he is as a contractor. His name is Jeff Haverlah and his company name was advertised on Facebook as Circle Bluff Construction. His wife, Sandra Leos Haverlah is also involved in the company. He lies about his applying for a license and often asks you to make checks out to Sandra instead of the company. Do yourself a favor and avoid this guy if you're looking for a contractor. We hired ATS to inspect a gas line for a pool project. Their inspector came out and approved the…read moregas line, despite it not meeting city regulations. After tracking down the inspector, he denied responsibility and demanded he talk to our contractor vs tell me if my pipe was safe. The conversation ended by him hanging up on me by my questioning if we had an issue with our line, yet him already approving it. I then went to report the incident to his manager, who confirmed the pipe should not have been approved, and he would get back to me with what I needed to do. I followed up with him three times, and he's ignored every message. We paid for an inspection from ATS to know if our gas line was installed safely to have a tech approve an unsafe pipe, deny it, communicate unprofessionally, his boss ghost us, and after 3 weeks, we still do not know if our gas line is safe. Flagging for the city that ATS has approved an unsafe line and will not communicate nor follow up after multiple attempts.

After rescheduling three weeks in a row my lost my roofer walked off the job on my 1.27 million dollar project leaving me high and dry on a substantial completion date of only two weeks to go. it was a 68-day project and they failed miserably. Needed my septic pumped & called Bulldog after finding their company on Yelp. I read a negative…read morepost about them charging more from the phone quote to the in-person price because they had to dig septic tank cover off. I clearly described access to my tank and they were able to quote the same over the telephone & in-person price. I found the 2 techs friendly & they provided good info on system maintenance. They neatly put back the little bit of grass around the tank lid they had to remove to access the lid. Also...I would ignore that other guy with the negative review about price change. If your tank lid is buried, & significant effort has to go into just accessing the lid before any pump out work can be done & you don't tell Bulldog that, then charging more for the time & to dig it out is reasonable. I will use Bulldog for my future septic pump out needs.

I had my septic tank pumped. They did a good job, but they severely under-quoted me how much it…read morewould cost. I was quoted $425 plus a "possible $100 digging charge if they have to dig more than 12 inches down". So my family and I went out there and dug out one whole opening, about 11" down. Turns out they need 2 openings, plus they changed their digging charge policy. According to the receptionist, the policy just changed to "If they have to dig at all, it's $100". So just be aware. $100 to dig a few scoops of dirt SEEMS high to me, but what do I know. My average sized home has a 1,250 gal. tank, and apparently such a tank can hold 1500 gallons, because they charged me $150 more for 500 extra gallons pumped. So all in all, I paid $675 when I expected to pay $425. A bit of a sticker shock. Would I recommend them? Maybe, but just know that they under-quote you. I paid over 50% more than I expected. You WILL have to add the $100 digging fee, and unless you're living in a 1 bedroom trailer, your tank will be more than the $425 standard fee for "up to 1,000 gallons". I'm not going to be ridiculous and give them 1 star or some nonsense. They get 3 stars. They did a good job on the pumping. But I honestly think the owner(s) have a lot to learn about business, customer service, and human psychology. Who likes to pay more than they expected? If you need more than $425 for a pumping, just raise your price. But don't play games. $100 for a bit of digging is ridiculous. Don't hold out hope a person can escape that massive charge, if you want that $100 every time you come out. Just be up-front about how much you want for your service.
