The foundation continues to shift leading to cracks inside and outside that thousands of dollars in repairs every few years years. They don't understand how clay soil works and their warranty is useless because it doesn't cover the cost of cosmetic repairs as a result of their shoddy work. If they perform any warranty work, you're still on the hook for thousands in cosmetic repairs. Ask them if their foundation repair work also requires that you add a French drain. You don't have to take my word for it. To protect yourself, ask them to put the items below in the written contact. They will refuse. 1. They are responsible for repairing any cosmetic damage that results from any flaws in their foundation work. 2. They are responsible for repairing the interior floor if they have to repair an interior beam. 3. They guarantee that the foundation work keeps the foundation from moving up, down or horizontally. (Clay soil expands and contracts, so you don't want the foundation moving) 4. Guarantee that their beams won't angle due to soil shift Any company that knows their work is good will stand by it and have a robust warranty. Quality Foundation Repair's warranty is bare bones with exceptions for virtually everything.

When contractors gave…read moreus estimates to repair it a 3rd time, they told us there would be no warranty on their work, because it was likely that frame movement resulted in the cracking... and that the root cause could be a foundation problem. They suggested we have it looked at. I spent some time looking at reviews of foundation companies, and settled on Bats. When I called, I was asked a few questions about my issue, and an appointment time was set with Calvin Burnett for about a week later. Calvin called ahead because he was running early the day of the appointment. He spent over an hour inspecting our home inside and out. He took precise measurements from a high point on our floor, and at points throughout our home. When he was done, he explained what he found, which was that the foundation measurements were within specification. He sent a report including a map of our home with the measurements later that same day. There was no charge for this, and Bats will keep the data in their records for comparison if the need arises in the future. Both the person I spoke with over the phone and Calvin were professional and helpful. There was no obligation or charge for the excellent service we received. I highly recommend this business for their honesty and professionalism.

Done Right wasn't the cheapest, but they seemed to really know what they were doing and were responsive and professional. They were able to shore up the foundation on a poorly done addition to the home and time will ultimately tell but the cracks have largely closed up and the area seems a lot more stable/level. The crew was polite and professional - worked quickly and efficiently on what turned out to be a bigger job than I think any of us anticipated! Mason was our main point of contact and was just wonderful - answered all our questions and addresses any issues/concerns as soon as they came up. It's never fun when you have a major issue with your house like this but having a reliable team like Done Right in your corner certainly makes it better.

I had a terrible experience with Done Right Foundation Repair (formerly Done Rite Foundation)…read more They came out and worked on my foundation in 2019. A few years later (2022) I was noticing some minor cracks, not too bad but I brought it to their attention. I spoke to Chris on the phone who had a bit of an aggressive and condescending tone, and was blaming me for not "maintaining the soil" around the house. Since the cracks weren't too bad, I decided to let it go... It didn't seem worth it to have to deal with him. A few years later (2025) I had some sudden bigger cracks happening. So I called back. I was corresponding with both Chris and Mason who continued to tell me that I did not maintain the soil and that's why I was having so many cracks and it wouldn't be covered under the warranty. I explained that I believed I did everything I was supposed to do. I have an irrigation system, and I installed gutters and french drains as recommended by a 3rd party engineer. They continued to argue with me and continued to say that it was my fault. Then they told me that they would send an estimate to repair the foundation (again). As I was waiting to get the estimate for work that I felt should have been under their warranty I decided to get some other quotes. I called a few places (who were all very professional and responsive) and got a couple more quotes. (Also, just a note, my house shifted approximately 3 inches on one side.) I had to request the estimate a couple of times from Done Right and when I got it, it was much higher than the other quotes that I got. Obviously I decided to go with another company. I also was happy to not have to deal with Chris or Mason again. I've never dealt with more unprofessional people in my life. When the other company came out and started the work, I received a couple of abrasive emails from Chris and Mason accusing me of "poking the bear" by asking for an estimate when I already had "ulterior motives for who knows how long" by going with another company. It was crazy! AND he took pictures of the other company working on my foundation and sent them in the email. Were they watching my house??? He also said the company I hired did terrible work and threatened to report me to code compliance because they weren't doing the work with the proper permits. The company that I went with has been SO LEGIT and PROFESSIONAL and so far, has been a great experience.... The last email exchanges were just laughable. After blaming me for not maintaining the soil, they then said that I didn't even have a warranty because I never transferred the warranty when I bought the house. Ummmmm..... I owned the house for 8 years before they came and worked on the foundation and I still own the house. There was no transfer of ownership. They just did not want to honor the warranty and they were going to find a way out of it. They told me they "tried their best to work with me but I chose to be difficult." The point is moot because I wouldn't want them anywhere near me or my house and I'm still VERY creeped out that they were taking pictures of the other company working at my house. *** One more note: Done Right Foundation Repair, LLC is NOT a BBB Accredited Business as they state on their profile.

This plumber came out and removed the toilet in the master bath for the test. He also failed to seal the toilet around the base. I called Groundworks and was received with less than any sort of care or concern. This certainly does not reflect well on Groundworks as they have these commercials that seem to indicate what a great job they do and how concerned they are with quality work. My experience is the company they send their plumbing work to is not cut from the same cloth. My contractor now has to go out and purchase a new permanent ring with a phalange and new bolts. When I contacted Groundworks about the issue the lady I got on the call showed zero interest and would "check on it next week!!!
