That sounded reasonable, so I agreed. I brought the carburetor back in, was told it would be ready the next day, and to their credit, they did call me the following afternoon to say it was done. When I came to pick it up, I also bought a bottle of oil for an oil change, which was $10. At checkout, I was told the total was $67. I questioned the price because I was explicitly quoted $25 for the cleaning. Only then was I told that it "needed a rebuild kit," which added $27, something that was never discussed, approved, or even mentioned beforehand. To be clear: * Original quoted price: $25 * Added rebuild kit (without notice): $27 * That is a 108% increase over the quoted price ($27 ÷ $25 = 108%) * And that's before the $10 oil purchase The carburetor itself had been used fewer than five times, and while I admit I made the mistake of leaving gas in it (with stabilizer), I was never shown or clearly explained what was actually rebuilt. All the parts looked the same, and I was handed two extra gaskets that didn't even fit. The biggest issue here isn't the repair, it's the lack of communication and authorization. You don't double the cost of a service without calling the customer first. Had I been told upfront, I could have made an informed decision. This experience left a bad taste, and unfortunately, I wouldn't return or recommend this place based on how this was handled.

They are very efficient. they have the details at their finger prints and know what they are doing. When this hits a family the last thing ANYONE is thinking of is what type of wood to make the casket out of or what particular flowers you want. I mean yes you want that stuff BUT you don't think clearly, that is what they do. They help you sort out the muddle and help make it all happen. The down side was availability. yes they made it happen and they were out of sight pretty much at the service and just a little too out of sight. when I had questions it was a hunt to find someoen and rather more to the point there was soemthing i wanted to drop off after the planning meeting but before the funeral and making daily stops at the office no one was there. I was told there was a phone number to call but I was at the back door and saw nothing-that's where the parking lot is, and the idea of no one there gave the place, in the words of Dashiel Hamnett "A sort of vacant feeling" but other than this they were very good and hopefully it will be a LOONG time before we need their services but I'd have no problem going back

I parked in a small lot and all I saw was a pizza place and a homeless dude sitting outside of another faded storefront. I left my poster tubes in the car to make sure I was in the right place. As I walked up to the storefront with the homeless dude, a silver pony-tailed guy channeling Jeff Goldblum literally jumped out of nowhere from behind to confront me about the parking lot being for customers only. Didn't say who he was or even ask if I needed help. He assumed I was walking away down the street. I asked him how he didn't know I had posters to frame. He said because I was walking to the sidewalk. Well...the handwritten sign inside the shop did have an arrow pointing to go around to the street side to ring the bell! Guess he forgot his own sign. After a minor spat over his adamant disbelief that I actually had posters to frame, I walked back to my car and "magically" produced two poster tubes. He sighed and put his hands up..."ahhhh, man...well, you wanna come in?" I laughed and justifiably called him a ....... for losing $600+ in business for making assumptions, when instead of asking if I needed help he assumed I was going to some other store down the street.
