I rented two apartments from timely properties over the course of two years and had many issues…read morewith them. Both units ended up getting mold, the first being black mold that ruined my bed and mattress. All timely did was offer a dehumidifier. The second apartment did not have a working water heater for the first 7 months of my stay due to them installing a new water heater that did not have the proper wattage, and not getting a permit from the city. Nothing was done to compensate me for their mistake. The toilet in the unit also did not have a wax ring for the first 8 months of me living there and was only discovered when there was a leak. When I gave proper notice and vacated the second unit they did not get my security deposit back to me for 6 1/2 weeks. They also constantly spelled my name wrong in interactions despite me correcting them several times. I never felt any kindness or empathy from the staff in my many interactions with them. The only reason for 2 stars is due to the somewhat affordable rent, and simple maintenance requests being fixed. Avoid renting from them if you can.

By December 31, his assistant, Laura, wrote us to say there wasn't interest in our house. We immediately called another property manager who genuinely couldn't understand why the house hadn't been rented. She had a signed rental contract 8 days later. Read that last sentence again. This is why I'm writing this review. During the almost 6 month period we had the house with SCPR, I received a few emails from Laura: The prospective renter wanted $ off the rent, or had some other ask. We always compromised with the request, but nothing ever happened. The house was furnished when we signed the contract with Chris. At the time he said that it added a challenge, but that they would get it done. At some point Laura indicated that, because the house was furnished, they were having a hard time finding renters. When the house was still unrented in November, my wife and I went up, packed up the furnishings and asked them to take new photos. Then came a couple more of the same asks: Would we take $ off the rent, etc., etc.? Nothing happened with the home. Then the "nobody's interested in your property" email. I'll leave it at this: Our experience was that our house sat empty for almost 6 months, immediately followed by the next property manager raising the asking rent by $200/month (from the asking price that SCPR set) and it was rented in 8 days!
