We spent FOREVER trying to pick a sushi spot in Tijuana and I'm glad we landed on this one. The fish tastes super fresh and the rice to fish ratio was on point. Be careful, their rolls are super super packed and bigger than you'd expect, so order lighter than you're used to. This is coming from a girl that can eat 8 rolls alone in the states. read more

Food is the best of it's kind in Tijuana but the quality of service has definitely decreased over the last months of 2023.

My go to sushi place whenever I'm in TJ. I highly recommend the "platon especial" my absolute favorite. You wont be sorry

The worst experiance I have ever had eating sushi; I used to love this place, great selection of fresh sushi like Uni and Toro, but yesterday was simply awful. -The fish was old and smelly! yes old and smelly; I only ate the initial sashimi platter of Toro that had a good quality; the rest was garbage. -The drinks logistics are supper stupid: the barman would go ticket by ticket regardless of what they ordered, so bottle drinks like BEER OR SODA! were not going first in order; they had to finish some prepared drink before placing a beer in the bar for the waiter to pick up. Supper stupid. -The AC was turned off or not appropriately set, therefore, every customer was sweating. -The personnel was rude, and I don't blame them; they were also sweating, so I still tip them; this was not their fault. -The last straw was when they brought me rotten smelly fish. I left 3 rotten sashimi platters on the table, called the manager, and told him I would pay for it all, not to worry; But also asked him to please have a bite of any of the platters; I asked him to please have a bite. I was not disrespectful, nor was I looking for a discount or not paying for the food that I ordered. I asked for the check because I needed to leave that place. I told him that they had lost a loyal customer; I used to work in the same building on the 7th floor after I graduated. So I have known this place for a very long time. what a shame. Don't go here. Very nice atmosphere. We had a great time however it is nothing like a benihana's or shoguns or any place in the United States. There is no show or any skillful cooking in front of you and the food is honestly not good. No seasoning on the meat and the sides were bland. One of my favorite Japanese places to eat at ! Whenever I am in TJ I take full advantage and make sure I make a stop at Komasa. I love my sushi in San Diego but what makes this place stand out significantly from a lot of the rolls available in San Diego is the use of real crab. It makes a huge difference! And some of my favorite rolls, that are unavailable I'm San Diego, are the rolls with clams and octopus. It's simply amazing. In addition to the rolls, I always like to get a belly section of their salmon sashimi. The meat really melts in your mouth. Delicious! Benihana's but half the price is the best description-we always have the mar y tierra tepanyaki (big enough for two people to share) and as starters their sushi is good and calamari is great! We've been to this place multiple times and it is one of my family's favorite places to get together. Great service, worth trying if you're in the mood for Japanese food. read more

We looked this place up on yelp and seemed like a good spot to check out. I love that they have an English and Spanish menu, that was very helpful! We got seated and they brought us out some warm moist towels to clean our hands. That gesture was very 5 star material. We all ordered waters with fresh fruits and they were so delicious! The menu is a little difficult to understand even in English but any questions we had our server helped us out. The food was very delicious with lots of flavor .
