Oyadaka was fantastic for a quick date night in Tijuana. We stopped by around 730pm, and there were quite a bit of people inside. We lucked out as I think we caught the end of the dinner crowd so our service was fast. I ordered the Teriyaki combo, and a tamarind mojito. My girlfriend ordered California rolls. My plate was good! I'm not big on sushi but I did manage to taste one of the rolls. It was good. A big piece of sushi. They don't cheap out on the portions here. It is a bit pricey, but had I ordered this in the US, I'm sure I would've paid an extra $25. I visited this location on 09/03/2023. It's very easy to get there via Uber, and the surrounding areas have tons of food options. I will definitely go again! read more

Best sushi in Tijuana by far, and maybe the best south of Los Angeles. Odayaka is located next to Villa Saverios and Origen Argentino, and across the street from Prime Grill. I believe they have another location in La Paz, Mexico at the Costa Baja Resort (which is awesome). I visited it a few years ago and loved it as well. Reservations are not accepted and the place gets packed. Expect a 30-40 min wait on a weekend night. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and smoking is allowed in the outdoor area, so keep that in mind. Tables are socially distanced, so your party will be comfortable. Odayaka offers an extensive cocktail menu. I tried both tequila and mezcal cocktails and enjoyed both. For appetizer, I suggest the fried octopus (chicharrón). As for sushi, they offer sashimi, nigiri, and a ton of different rolls. I counted at least 30 unique rolls on the menu. You can't really go wrong with any of them. This was the freshest sushi I've had in a very long time. The rolls are massive too. While a bit on the pricier side ($12-$15 per roll) it is definitely worth it. Next time I'm craving sushi I will head to Odayaka. read more

But I was kinda in a hurry so I couldn't really order a lot of things! For drinks I ordered a regular classic ice tea! It was good! I don't like adding sugar and it was perfect! I asked for a Glass if ice (never came) but it's okay! It happens!!! For appetizer I order the chicharrón de pulpo! It was phenomenal! Super tasty!! I have never tried it before. I loved it! I enjoy Sushi in any time of the year! This is my second time here and I very enjoyed the food, the service and cocktails were so good I was very surprised! To eat I had an Odayaka roll, some Clams with cheese and a Tuna Tostada! to drink I had a Mezcal Cocktail & a Caarajillo Cajeta super good I might say!!! It is a very spacious place, they have a back kinda garden area, an inside and Terrence area, so whatever youre in the mood for a sitting area you can take your pick, personally I enjoyed the garden area with the fountain, listening to the water run and eating made more enjoyable my experience. Only 3 stars because the service was ,...meh. Had to ask for a high chair for our baby 3 times. None of the outside heaters were working and had to move our table. Apart from that we ordered for our baby ahead of time so they could bring that out first and it was the last thing they brought out. Primero nos informaron que no había tuna y que estaban substituyendo tuna por jurel a mi en lo personal no me importó pero mi esposo muy molesto les dijo que están cobrando por tuna y sirven un pescado que es esta a mitad de precio de tuna, cuando llegan los rollos empezamos a comer nos salieron cáscaras de colitas de camarón mi esposo empezó a quitar el pescado del rollo me dijo (el pescado se mira en malas condiciones y huele mal ) yo pensé como que estaba exagerando y me empecé a comer el pescado que mi esposo quitaba de sus piezas del rollo , 15 minutos más tarde me empezó a doler la panza orritable casi devuelvo en la mesa, apenas alcancé a llegar al baño puesto que ya traía el bomito saliéndoseme. La peor experiencia mi sueter y zapato llenos de pescado ya pasado. El pescado no está fresco o tratan de sacar pescado biejo que ya está en mal condiciones. The waiter told us that they didn't have tuna, they putting jurel fish I was like ok I didn't care at all because I really like the place, but my husband was like you guys are charging for tuna and giving a cheep fish. When the food comes we started eating shrimp shells starting coming in ur roll I didn't really care just took it out of my mouth and kept eating, my husband told me the first looks bad and smell funky, he started to take the fish out of he's food and I thought he's probably exaggerating so I started eating his fish as well, 15 minutes later my stomach started to hurt so BAD I almost throw up on the table I run to the bathroom but because it was half way out got my clothes and shoe felt so sick, the fish is definitely not fresh or they trying to get rid of the old fish really bad experience if u want FOOD POISONING this is the place. read more
