Amazing authentic taqueria! Stopped in hungry and left satisfied. The fish taco is in a supple fresh tortilla that tastes house made, and the fresh herbs and veggie mix on top of the fish was the perfect crunchy complement to the tender fish. Everyone was knowledgeable and friendly, service was prompt, and the ambiance is awesome with the coolest wall art and a fun vibe from the music. Overall recommend and will be back! Keep up the great work and excellent service :)

Good food! The tacos were not good sadly. But the nachos were a 4, super solid. The tacos have a rubbery thick corn tortilla, I think that's the first thing to change. Not too tasty. Overall pretty bland. The chimichurri steak tasted more like mustard as a sauce. The mahi was better but not that great. The nachos were terrific with al pastor pork. Love all the sauces. Lots of meat throughout. All chips were properly decorated. Very tasty!

Kompas Taqueria is a combination of both delicious food and an artistic, upbeat vibe. As soon as you walk in the door you notice a giant mural on the wall with vibrant colors and interesting detail. There' are also other little touches throughout such as the hanging decorations from the ceiling and the colorful chairs. It's a place that begs to be lingered in-and linger, I did. As cool as the place is, I'm not just there to sit around. I ordered a chicken taco as well as the mahi mahi and absolutely devoured them both. I alternated bites between the two, trying to decide which one I liked better and I just couldn't come to a conclusion. They were both terrific in their own way. My friend enjoyed her taco and also go some sort of frozen drink that she said was a little sour but good. I stuck with water, as I usually do. I'll enthusiastically recommend Kompas when someone asks me where to go celebrate Taco Tuesday (or any other day of the week, for that matter.)

We were so excited right try this restaurant! It came highly recommended by my son's boxing team. Right when you walk in, the aesthetics are so nice! As someone who loves tagging and artwork, I was impressed. Their modern design blending in Latinx different aspects of culture was appreciated. The food options are wonderful. There are a lot of choices for tacos in different categories. I chose three tacos from three different categories - the OG asada, kompas king, and mahi-mahi. I also tried theirs chips and guacamole, the esquites, and the pina kolada. Everything was delicious and I can't wait to come back. If you love quesadillas, ask for Sebastian's favorite! Staff gave the best recommendations and were so kind! Check this place out soon!

Honestly, I would skip this spot. For 6 tacos and two soft drinks the bill came out to just under $50 and the food doesn't feel worth that. The fried avocado was delicious, but the corn and the sauce used makes the taco itself SO sweet. That would've been okay if there was limes & hot sauce available but there weren't. My partner said his three tacos with meat were good, but also too expensive for what they were.

Was visiting good friends in Draper and we went here for dinner. The food was AMAZING!!! I had the steak nachos and my friends had tacos. The service was fantastic! So kind and offered great suggestions. The restaurant is super cute and clean inside. Looking forward to visiting again soon!!!

Great food. Good service. Beautiful atmosphere. Kompas has got it together. Beautiful restaurant with custom decor. Beautiful mural. Lots of cute accents. Branding is on point! It wasn't busy when we came in, but maybe they just need time. The staff is friendly, and helpful. You order at the counter and they either bring your food, or have you come get it at the counter. The food was good. We got 3 tacos, a kids meal, and chips and guacamole. The guacamole was hands down, the best part. The chips are also lightly salted with a unique flavor. Possibly lime? The masala taco was a unique twist. The OG was a solid choice, and the shrimp was good. The kids meal pork was super salty, so we wouldn't recommend that. But, everything else was solid. Prices were comparable to other taco niche taco shops. Check menu for latest prices. We hope nachos come soon.

Excellent, flavorful, light quality ingredients in the tacos here . Was really excited to try this new taco spot that I have seen in progress for a few months.. And boy it did not disappoint. They have a large assortment of tacos, varying from meats to veggies and fish and each one had a unique flavor combination. The tacos are light and tortillas had a perfect texture to them. The ingredients are quality and if I may quote Guy Fieri on this one "It'll take you to flavor town." As long as this place can keep up with the quality of its ingredients that it's currently serving up and keep their dining area clean and smoke free because a lot of places have ventilation. Grease trap issues around here in my opinion, then I can see it being a go to spot for many. We will definitely come back to finish off the remaining tacos we didn't get to try out on this visit.
