It's not much .50cents. Definitely worth it. I got cheese enchiladas because there was nothing on the menu that looked good. First impression... the decor is dated but who cares, the sizzling food passing my table for a group of looks and smells amazing. House made chips and salsa were delivered mere minutes after I sat. My order was taken 30 seconds later. Midelo and two hardshell ground beef tacos! You never find ground beef hard shell tacos! Am I right? The food arrived 10 minutes later. Lady is hustling!! I like to mix my rice amd beans adding the delicious red salsa. The chips were thin amd crispy. Perfect with the salsa. First bite! Taco shell was crispy and easy to chew. There was an abundance of chopped lettuce with a fee chopped tomatoes. The cheese was finely shredded and was very good amd provides the texture I like. As for the ground beef I was expecting more... brighter amd flavorful. It felt like am after thought. Service was great but good not so much. I ordered chili Verde enchiladas. Description said pork. What I received was cheese enchiladas with a Verde sauce that had three small pieces of pork scared on top in the sauce. The same menu listed a another burrito with a description that the burrito was beans with cheese and Verde sauce on top. This was an honest description. A real Mexican restaurant does not describe something as chili Verde unless that's what is inside. read more

Great prices and great staff... but it lacks the authenticity of a smaller restaurant. I was hoping for a more traditional chicken soup (sopa de pollo), a clean bowl of broth with vegetables and chicken that will keep things light - but the closest they came was a tortilla soup, that, while tasty, was pretty heavy on tortilla, light on chicken, and saltier than most truly traditional Mexican dishes and soups. Everyone has something good to say about La Hacienda. It's a family-friendly, family-run Mexican restaurant that serves plentiful portions, has plenty of seating & a full bar. Their smothered burritos are really as good as you've heard. The complimentary chips and salsa always hit the spot. And the fajitas never disappoint. It's classic American-Mexican so it's definitely not authentic but I think that's how most people like it. But it's the friendly staff and the fun dining atmosphere that makes me a regular. My fave Mexican place by far ! This place does get packed fairly well so be prepared too wait 20 min or less. During their PEAK times like lunch or dinner , always call in and see. The prices here a super reasonable , anywhere from 15-30 for a person to eat , and you AlWAYS leave full. When you first get there , they give you complimentary chips and salsa, but man their homemade salsa is sooooo good. And they're more than happy to refill while you wait for your food. It's nice to see the chefs/cooks back there cooking all the food so you know you'll get your food in 20 min or less. When it comes to ordering food here, you honestly can't go wrong with anything on the menu. It's all fire but I will tell you they are known for their chili verde. Mmm mmm good ! And their chili verde isn't too hot, it has just enough kick, for the people who don't like spicy food. It has bomb flavor and you can get the chili verde in multiple ways, whether it's a burrito, enchilada , fries, or just straight up on its own with rice and beans. It's seriously top tier there. My other faves their are their ceviche, shrimp tostada , Chile relleno , steak fajitas, chili verde fries , but seriously you can't go wrong with anything you order. Last but not least, their servers are always so sweet ! They're always checking in on you, making sure you have refills on your drinks or the complimentary chips and salsa. I think the menu options at La Hacienda are pretty standard, but they definitely hit the spot with how they've flavored their dishes. We were visiting from the southeast and most Mexican inspired food is pretty bland in that region. Here we had nice heat to our chili verde and they kept the tortilla chips and salsa coming! I've heard so much about La Hacienda & after our recent Mexican restraint flop, we were excited for a new place! This place did not disappoint! I think they have a few locations. We ended up at the Draper location for dinner. Service was soo quick! We ordered a magarita & pina colada. Both were really good. Chips & salsa were good, I wish they brought out more chips. We went through these pretty quickly. For dinner, we ordered Asada Tacos. We really liked them. The green sauce that comes with these was really good. We also ordered a smothered burrito, which we thought had pork inside it, but instead it just had chile verde sauce on the top of it. So it was just a bean & cheese burrito. Not exactly what we were thinking, but it was our fault for not reading the menu more clearly. The chile verde sauce had really good flavor. I ordered the cheese enchiladas with red sauce, I'm not big on red sauce & wish I would have picked out the pork on the chile verde sauce instead. I'll definitely order it with chile verde sauce next time. Our meals were delivered within 5 minutes of us ordering it. The service was soo quick! Prices were very reasonable. We ate here yesterday afternoon at 3 pm. We were sat at a table and were given a bowl of salsa and chips. The salsa was just red water. No onion, tomato, cilantro or chiles were in it. Nothing you'd expect in a salsa. Just watery bland tomato flavored water. It took a long time for the waitress to take our order. We both ordered smothered burritos, smothered in half green and half red chile. I asked for no beans and rice but they gave it to me anyway. The waitress even confirmed my burrito was al a carte. The food was terrible. The burritos were full of watery bland refried beans and there was only a few pieces of pork in the chile verde. No meat in the red chile. I felt sick as I was eating and stopped eating. My husband also started feeling sick. We didn't finish the food or take it home. We both got sick on the way home and were down in bed the rest of the evening. We are both still sick today with food poisoning, it's now almost 6 pm the next day. Idk what made us sick, whether it was bad food or cross contamination but it started there as we were eating. It is unacceptable to sicken patrons and put their lives at risk. Another one bites the dust. Been coming here for years. I ordered a chili Verde "platter" it was brought a small plate of sauce with six very small pieces of pork in it. Obviously disappointed I pointed out to the waitress that I was actually an adult and hungry and needed food, lol. She responded that this is what chili Barry is basically soup with a very few pieces of pork in it. I am 52 years old. This is not the first time I've eaten chili Verde. It's one thing to drop the ball on service, it's another to try and suggest that your deficiency is actually the standard. Two orders were incorrect, the waiter was distracted and slow, and I had to go find my own condiments. We were pretty much forgotten throughout our meal. Lots of people here on a Sunday. Staff got me on the list quick and were friendly. They call out your name as well as use text messaging. That was nice. My server got me chips quickly and they did not disappoint. Chips were great flavor and light. There salsa was a little thin, but was super delicious. Salsa was not hot at all. I loved it. You can have the best description but when it arrives it can sometime not look good. When the place includes a good color picture, you know what to expect. I am burned out on restaurants with QR codes. My burrito was so good. I literally had a clean plate. The rice and beans had great flavor and the sour Crème was a generous portion. I wouldn't normally try and finish a meal this big in one setting, but it was very good and it was Sunday and starting to snow. La Hacienda is a great restaurant the has excellent food. Had been wanting to try this place for awhile now. So Saturday after attending a reptile convention we decided to stop in for some lunch. There was a minimal wait of 25 minutes but after that we were seated and greeted with chips and salsa. The chips were salty and crispy as they should be the salsa was okay not the best I have had but not the worst either. I tend to like my salsa spicy with bursts of cilantro. This fell a bit flat for me. We placed our orders. Both ordered combo plates and half dozen oysters. The wait to get our food seemed a bit long and we burned through a bowl of chips and the salsa and eventually flagged down the waitress for more chips. The oysters never arrived. The combos themselves were filling and flavorful. Decent chili verde over my tamale. My chimi was full of white meat chicken and the outer shell was crispy like I like a chimi to be. I had asked for red sauce and as you can see it didn't arrive with red but I am not picky enough to send it back. It tasted good and that's what matters. I am just a sucker for a good red sauce. I also did not want sour cream and asked for a side of guac. The waitress let me know it came with a side of both and I asked for no sour cream and it arrived with it. Again...no worries I just flicked it to the side and ate on. I would def come back here now with the expectation of really needing to be on my server to deliver what we want. We were not charged for the Oysters which leads me to believe she simply just didn't put our order in for them and lacked a bit of attention to detail in regards to my request for no sour cream. We enjoyed the food, atmosphere, I loved the company of my lunch date and I still tipped the server well. I chose La Hacienda for my bday dinner with my family and I was very disappointed. I ordered the 2 smothered green chili pork burritos. What I got was 2 bean burritos smothered with green chili sauce and 3 small pieces of pork on top. After I slit the top open when not seeing or tasting any pork inside the burrito (only refried beans) I asked our waitress if she gave me the wrong order. She said no. I said there is zero pork or green chili sauce inside. She then came back with a bowl of green chili sauce with 2 pieces of pork (the size of marbles) for me to pour on top of the refried beans.
