Salsa bar with easy to understand the degree of hotness of the salsas

I had tacos with Carne, pollo, and pescado. All were good. I enjoyed them. Good flavor. Sorry so short, not much else to add. Not exciting enough for five stars. Give them a try, I think you'll like it. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

Driving on Redwood Road headed out to find some St Patty Day snacks for work Monday when my eyes spied a new sign... Tacos 1905!?!? What?! How?! Where?! What?! When did this happen? Come to find out just three weeks ago. Fresh Amd new. Let's check them out... Sunday afternoon and the place is slammed. All 7 tables are taken. Let's goooo! I got my three tacos to go... carne asada, pollo asado and la lengua ... when I arrived there was one couple standing and waiting and now there are four orders standing/waitng and looks like four tables waiting. Looks like everyone got here all at once...40 was just called. I'm 45. Nice young lady came by to check on the first standing couple. Big smile, Looks like they are actively working on the backlog. The business is tough for new restaurants. Even the big ones in Vegas had soft openings to work out the kinks. It's a dance and It will come. Smells so good in here. The food looks great. The music is soft and mellow. I think I'm next. My order to go but so far, I really like this place. All the best Tacos

Good. Not amazing. The good: Very kind and professional staff. Lots of salsa options. Authentic preparations. Aqua Fresca options. Many glass bottled sodas to choose from. The meh: Expensive. Light on options. My meats were dried out; likely from the time of night we arrived (may be better earlier in the night.)

I finally got a chance to try Tacos 1905 and it absolutely did not disappoint! We will definitely be back to try more of the menu as I only tried the tacos this time. The Adobada, Pescado and Pollo Asado were very flavorful and perfectly cooked! Always love a fresh salsa bar and we were told the salsas are made fresh everyday. Great salsa choices, cilantro, onions and this was the first time that I've seen freshly sliced cucumbers. The staff were very friendly! The manager/owner came out and talked to us after we had eaten which was very nice as well! Gave us a great chance to interact and ask a few questions about the restaurant! This is a new spot, the parking is great, the restaurant fills very fresh and clean! A must stop, even if you only have a few minutes!!

Tacos 1905 was OK. I think the atmosphere is really cool. There's limited seating so it's always been crowded and we have been there. I thought their quesadilla was better than the tacos. The problem with the quesadilla is it's really small. This place is definitely worth checking out since everybody has a different opinion on what makes a taco taste the best.

1/2 carne asada and 1/2 al pastor fries

Really great Mexican place for good quality food. I got the fries with 1/2 al pastor and 1/2 carne asada. I wouldn't say the meat is was the best I've had but the fries were perfectly fried and hot a great crisp to it. The combination of the guacamole, onions, cilantro, sour cream, cheese, and salsa were a medley in my mouth. I was highly impressed with their French fry quality as it created a great base for the toppings. They allow you to try their Agua Frescas and we decided on their cucumber lime one. It was refreshing and very thirst quenching. We got our order to go but not without getting a lot of their fresh salsas at the salsa bar. My husband got the quesadilla and two tacos and said it was better than Tacos Lopez. We enjoyed this place and will definitely get it again when we are craving Mexican food.

It's hard finding a good tripa taco but this was a great spot, they make it crispy without you having to ask! The salsa bar is fresh and they dress some of the tacos so you don't even have to add much. They also have a drive thru which is convenient!

Zero stars. Horrible. Slow, waited 30 min for horrible food. Don't do it. Quality was terrible. Slow service.

I ordered the Carne asada quesodilla. It was really good! They weren't chincy on the steak. The sauces were also great & not so hot to burn your tongue. The tortillas are made fresh. Friendly staff as well. Food comes out quickly even with big lunch crowds. Definitely will be coming back for more!

Carne asada, pollo asada and adobado tacos

Awesome little taco shop. Great food, great prices, very friendly and quick staff. They make the tortillas in house, fresh. They have a Santa Maria style grill where they grill the meats, and they offer fish tacos! The salsa bar is clean and fresh with lots of offerings, and their pineapple agua fresca was delicious! I'll be coming back, you should come too

Birria taco combo! Tres leches cake!

Finally!!! Real authentic Mexican food! Coming from San Diego it's been interesting to say the least trying to find my new taco spot, salsa that burns twice! I'm in love! Look no further! Come here for your taco dealer!

    Birria tacos

Excellent food and service! The carne asada vampiros are a stand out but the birria tacos are excellent. The meat is really high quality and they have a full salsa bar!

really great tacos, I'd get the Mulitas again. Really fresh and I feel good about how they make their own tortillas.

When I asked to add four more tacos, the price jumped to $175. When I politely asked for clarification on the math--as $40 for four tacos seemed excessive--the staff member became defensive and snappy. Instead of explaining the charges, she told me to "come inside and see for myself" in a very condescending tone. The unprofessionalism continued when I asked if there would be an extra charge for onions and jalapeños. Rather than answering a simple yes or no, she responded with further attitude, demanding to know if I "wanted it or not" before finally stating it was included. Despite the terrible service, I proceeded with the order and requested a 9:30 p.m. pickup time to ensure the food would be ready for a strict 10:00 p.m. deadline for my brother. Despite placing this order seven hours in advance, the food was not ready when my mom arrived at 9:30 p.m., and she was forced to wait. Between the rude, dismissive attitude of the staff and the failure to have a pre-ordered meal ready on time, I am extremely disappointed. I will not be returning to this location

While there were some things we enjoyed, the overall experience didn't quite justify the price. First, the restaurant is beautiful. The décor is modern, stylish, and very Instagram-worthy. It's easily one of the nicest-looking brunch spots I've visited in Utah. Unfortunately, the dining room feels overcrowded. The tables are placed extremely close together, making it difficult to have a private conversation. We often had to raise our voices just to hear each other, and even the servers seemed to struggle moving between tables. The atmosphere looked great, but it didn't feel very comfortable. The service was polite and friendly, but one thing bothered me. Shortly after we finished our main dishes, the check was brought to the table. We hadn't asked for it, and it made us feel a bit rushed, as if it was time to leave even though we were still talking with our friends. It's a small detail, but it affects the overall dining experience. For drinks, I ordered a piña colada, and unfortunately it was disappointing. It tasted overly diluted, with very little pineapple flavor, while the rum stood out much more than it should have. I also ordered the Vital Boost juice. The flavor was actually good, but it was served at room temperature, which wasn't what I expected from a fresh juice. For my meal, I ordered the breakfast burrito. It tasted good, but I couldn't justify the $20 price tag. It consisted of a thin tortilla filled with eggs, bacon, cheese, and potatoes, served with shredded potatoes and a small side salad. While everything was cooked properly, the ingredients felt simple, and the portion didn't match the price. I've had larger and more satisfying meals elsewhere for the same cost. My girlfriend ordered the birria tacos. They were decent but nothing memorable. We've had better birria at other restaurants. The consommé was much spicier than expected, and while some people may enjoy that, it wasn't our preference. The tortillas were also average. On the positive side, the lemonade was refreshing. I should also mention that Mexican food isn't usually my favorite cuisine, so I know my preferences may differ from those of other diners. Still, I always evaluate a restaurant based on the balance between quality, value, flavor, and the overall experience. In this case, I felt the food was good but not exceptional enough to justify the prices. La Condesa is definitely worth visiting if you're looking for a beautiful brunch spot with a trendy atmosphere. However, between the cramped seating, the value for the money, a few disappointing dishes, and feeling rushed at the end of the meal, the overall experience fell short of my expectations. I don't regret trying it, but it isn't a place I'd personally choose to revisit anytime soon.
