The food was tasty, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was fun and energetic without feeling overwhelming. It's a perfect spot for birthdays, family nights, or just a casual day out. We had a great time and would definitely come back.

She was not friendly or helpful & didn't show her face for 20 mins or more after we received our food to see if everything was ok or we needed anything else. I finally went up to the bar to ask about their beers. That woman was extremely nice, friendly & helpful. Gave me 2 tastes & said she'd send our server over to get our beer order. No server showed up until we done. Another man who walked by helped us too since we never saw our server & he was nice & helpful too. My husband is from Buffalo, NY. He has been to the original Anchor Bar & had LOTS of buffalo wings in Buffalo. He got the Beef on Weck, with fries & 5 wings with the Bourbon BBQ sauce for $19.99. His wings & fries were good but the Beef on Weck was a huge disappointment. Not much meet & the bun was not like the "Weck" he has had. I ordered 10 wings: 5 Bourbon BBQ & 5 mild Buffalo. The BBQ wings were excellent. Crispy on the outside, but moist, sauced, very good. The buffalo wings were horrible. They looked liked they had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. They had zero sauce, were so dried out, tough & 2 were absolutely minuscule. I mean tiny. They were so bad. I had to wait forever & never saw our server so I finally just asked another server. I said it was our first time in that particular restaurant & asked if they were supposed to be this way. He said, he could bring me sauce which he did. When our server finally did show up, I showed her & told her that they had no sauce & were dried up. She said they did have sauce. I pointed to the sauced bbq & then to the Buffalo which absolutely did not have sauce because it was all dried up. They do have sauce. She was one of the worst servers we've ever had. The Blue Cheese was great but we each got one celery stick which seemed pretty stingy when my meal was "10 wings, celery & blue cheese". So yeah, it was a huge disappointment & overall extremely poor experience.

Server kept us in drinks and let is take our time to visit and order food as we were ready. The noise level was about a 6 of 10 and the crowd was light for a Friday night. Would definitely make it a stop again on a bro date to have a few beers and play a few games and talk a lot of smack with friends.

I'm a busy professional so no time for games (literally) but I was getting gas and swung by to try lunch. This new location was about 80% empty so service was outstanding Lol. I ordered their salmon bowl ($21) and it was frankly excellent. Salmon was seared/crisp on the outside and super tender/fresh inside. It was a decent portion too (6-7 oz) and accompanied by a small serving of a half-dozen different veggies and a ladle full of jasmine rice under the salmon (see pic). All worked well together except the acidic/sour grape tomatoes. I appreciated they were fresh and all cut in half so stabbing one didn't send it missiling off my plate. Sliced avocado was fresh with no brown spots. Despite 1/2-off, after tax/tip it was still almost $16. Returned for lunch 2 weeks later: Crispy Hawaiian sandwich was excellent (16.49). No-cost substituted slaw for fries was nice. Also tried the parm Brussels sprouts (7.99) - these were the only disappointment as they were not crispy enough and waaay too salty and no savory (sweetness) to balance. I only wish for more than two "healthy" entrees in their vast menu. Calorie counts on most entrees are very high, as probably expected. Ambience was very nice (almost elegant-casual) and TV screens abound (roughly 8 are visible from ANY given seating position). Parking is free and plentiful (at least midday :)

I usually keep to just flasking it to Solar culture, but the lax, BYOB closed-container policy creates a unique house party concert vibe without the hours of standing around while your friends try to make their music equipment work properly. Although its not to far removed from such an experience since Solar culture is primarily an arthouse, doesn't have the greatest soundsystem and setup you will ever see, and I think for the most part the workforce and performers are as high as the patrons. I have dealt with a share of long waits between sets and all-to-average sound from Deerhoof, Voxtrot, Architecture in Helsinki, and the like. You also might have to bring a pair of binoculars to a show if you get there late to a packed house because of its awkward long and narrow build. There are great views of the band because of the raised stage, but once it gets past half capacity you might have to barter your way up closer with some of the cans of PBR you have in your Jansport. I was also permanently mentally scared by this place when Death From Above 1979 canceled their show there the day of. They never came back, and now they are gone. I can't help but think of how excited I was for that show (more then any other to date) and how heart-broken I was whenever I think of this place. *goes to cry beneath his desk*
