They charged us $300 for a 1,509 sq ft house -- despite the fact that the home had brand-new blinds, brand-new flooring in all three bedrooms, and no refrigerator to clean. This was absolutely not a discounted or bargain price. Before hiring them, they specifically promised they would come back and address anything my realtor found unsatisfactory after the cleaning. Based on that promise, I paid them in full immediately after the service. A few days later, my realtor inspected the property and found the cleaning quality extremely poor. She provided them with a detailed list of areas that were still dirty. One toilet was so poorly cleaned that my realtor cleaned it herself. On another toilet, instead of properly scrubbing blue staining inside the toilet, they simply suggested replacing the whole toilet altogether. That alone tells you the level of effort they put into the job. The dishwasher was still dirty. Windows, baseboards, drawers, and other surfaces were visibly dirty. There were even cobwebs still hanging on the walls. When I contacted them to come back as promised, their attitude immediately changed. They were rude, dismissive, and kept delaying scheduling. I gave them my husband's number to coordinate a return visit, and they said the earliest they could come was Saturday (nearly a week later). Then on Saturday, they suddenly claimed they would not return unless someone was physically present at the house to inspect their work. This made absolutely no sense because they already knew the property was vacant and that we were remote landlords. They had completed the original cleaning using an access code with nobody present, so this was clearly just an excuse to avoid honoring their promise. After that, they stopped answering calls from both me and my husband entirely. The house was still dirty, and we ended up paying another cleaning company to redo the entire job properly. Unprofessional, dishonest, and extremely poor-quality work. I would strongly discourage anyone from using this company. Respond to the owner's response: you lied! (1) The toilet was totally cleanable. The second cleaner cleaned this toilet with no problem. It looks very clean now. But you even didn't try and simply asked me to buy a new toilet. What a moron. Another toilet shown in the picture showed how my realtor easily cleaned after you still left it dirty! (2) my husband said he didn't clearly agree to have someone come for you because your accent was strong and he couldn't clearly hear what you said. Simply not realistic for us to agree. When he called you, you also didn't tell him which day and time you could come back to clean the house either. Later when I called you to come back, I already explained to you why we couldn't have someone on the spot waiting for you because it was an empty house and we couldn't hire someone to wait for you there. You knew this already even before we let you clean our house at the beginning, because we gave you the house access code to come in and nobody was there! We told you our realtor would come a few days later to check and asked if you could come back to finish cleaning if she pointed out dirty places. You agreed which is why we gave you money to do it. Unfortunately we paid you in full on the same day you did the cleaning. So you can become a moron later. You simply didn't want to keep your own promise to come back to finish cleaning. You could simply say you would come back to finish cleaning what we pointed out and no more trips if my realtor found out more later. However you simply refused to answer our phone and disappeared! If you continue to lie in public here after causing us so much stress and financial loss by hiring a second cleaner, I will further seek related third party for help. I don't believe such a horribly bad company could lie like this in public.

While I don't believe we will be using them moving forward I respect that they stand behind their work. Our former housekeeper moved so we recently had Purple Fig come in for an initial cleaning with the hopes of setting up a twice a month or bi-weekly service. We were quoted ~$280 per visit which was higher than our old housekeeper but seemed reasonable enough given they bring multiple people. They claimed the first clean was to bring things up to the "Purple Fig Standard" but when I got home after the cleaning I genuinely had trouble understanding what they did while in my home other than leave a candy cane on our kitchen counter. They don't do any laundry (even bed sheets/towels, not looking for a wash and fold service here) which is frustrating but I can somewhat understand given the time a laundry cycle takes. The most egregious offense was that they apparently also dont do any dishes . Again, i'm not asking for a post-Thanksgiving dinner cleanup here but we had a few pans and plates from last nights dinner in the sink and they didn't touch them. Overall, my wife and I struggled to understand what they really did to clean our home. When we decided not to continue with the bi-weekly service they then retroactively charged us $470 for the initial clean. For the price they charge not doing laundry or even tidying up the kitchen when there are a few dishes in the sink doesn't feel worth it. The best part of a cleaning service is coming home to a clean house that you can see and feel as soon as you walk through the door. With Purple Fig, I walked in to a house that felt like the cleaning service had to reschedule for another day

Since this seemed like it could be a technical issue (the website seemed a little buggy), I tried requesting an estimate, but didn't get a reply when I did that either. It is entirely possible if you *do* manage to get a response from them, they do a good job (but if you are reading a Yelp review, you probably aren't an existing client). However, my experience is most businesses become *less* not *more* responsive once you're a customer, so not being able to get a response is kind of a dealbreaker.

The first time my apartment was cleaned, a lady showed up with what appeared to be two children who should have been in school. I didn't think much of it at first, but it later became apparent to me that the lady cleaning always brought at least one child with her. None of the children spoke English and the situation made me a little uncomfortable. At some point it came up in conversation and Emma insisted to me that this child was actually an employee and was there to clean my unit. She said she has a hard time finding a job because most employers do not believe she is 18, but that she was. Since she looked and acted like a child, this just strained credulity . . . When I first booked, I asked if she could just skip a large guest bathroom/bedroom and bill us for a two bedroom apartment instead of a three bedroom. I was told this was impossible because of her system and she had no choice but to charge me the higher rate. At some point it came up again that I was paying to have rooms cleaned that I didn't want cleaned and she told me if I paid her via Venmo rather than credit card she would continue cleaning all of the rooms, but at a lower price. I said this was fine, but then they stopped cleaning the extra rooms and told me this was what we agreed to. Fine, but it definitely wasn't what we agreed to. Finally, Emma told me rather abruptly that she could no longer clean my apartment. There was a story that involved someone hurting their back, someone else going to Mexico, and Emma being allergic to cats. It didn't really feel that believable and I can think of other reasons why she would do this, but in the end it felt like an 'ok' resolution since at some level I didn't trust her anymore because of all the stories she told me.

MerryMaids crew stayed two hours longer, did more work. Two stars for the overall experience - Pretty good cleaners by raw talent, extremely overpriced compared to the competition, middle of the market when it comes to cleanliness. Below market customer service for arguing with me about cleaning dirt off the corners of the base boards, then didn't return my sponge. Used soap on all my cast iron without asking, now I have to re-season everything. Long Review: I just paid $478 for a "deep clean" that was in all fairness a pretty good cleaning if it were a routine cleaning. Comparable to the "sparkle" cleaning I paid for from Merry Maids eight months ago for $272, but not as thorough. The only exception being that Merry Maids cleaned my sliding glass doors and the balconies, which was included in the original quote. I paid extra both times for the stove cleaning, the refrigerator etc. I also talked to a guy at their office (I think) on the phone and told him how much more I was paying compared to the last cleaning and that my expectation was that the money spent should be reflected in the level of cleanliness. He assured me that the two ladies were "the best". When they said they were done, I asked about the balconies, and they said they don't do that. There wasn't an option for that on the website either, like there was on the Merry Maids website. I also had to argue with the lady when they were trying to leave after less than 3.5 hours of work (1,600sq ft) to have her wipe down the corners of the wall by the base boards. She said it needed to be painted. When I removed the dirt by dabbing my kitchen sponge on it (they didn't bring any, just rags), she relented and wiped off the dirt. I later found that she apparently didn't return my sponge. I also had to instruct them on cleaning behind my AV system and stand, which I would assume that would be included in a "deep clean". I also found that my cast iron pans were cleaned with soap and were put in my oven wet. That's a big no no for cast because it immediately starts to oxidize. One of the pans is already showing rust so I'll have to strip it, sand it, and start over. If I'm paying for a "deep cleaning," what exactly is being cleaned that isn't part of the regular cleaning? And why would I have to monitor them and guide them on how to clean a house? I figured using a little elbow grease to remove easily removable dirt would be part of the additional fee I paid. I have attached an example of the deep clean on my floor, it took 8 seconds with a different sponge to make it look clean. I'm completely blown away by all these five star reviews. Even if these ladies are being paid $25 an hour, that's more than $300 to the business. That's more than a 60% margin against labor. If you want to pay twice as much as you need to, by all means use these people. I'll be going back to MerryMaids. I was later contacted and they pointed out that I had booked two rooms and the cleaning crew reported five. I responded that I correctly described my house when booking as having two bedrooms and 2.5 baths (clearly labeled dropdown menus), along with the square footage that includes the garage and balconies that were never touched. There is nowhere to list total number of rooms.

We are so grateful for Koncept Garage and how they changed our way of living! What this team does is nothing short of miraculous. My husband and I were completely overwhelmed with the state of our garage... Every time we walked through it we wanted to close our eyes to avoid seeing the cluttered mess but we had to keep our eyes open so we wouldn't trip and fall over all of the STUFF! We thought that eventually we would get in there and organize but that day never came and we finally made a call for help. Thank goodness we did! There is no way we could have come close to performing the tasks the KG guys and gals did. They were so thorough and also considerate and patient with us. They work HARD. We purged, we donated and we sorted through years of accumulation that has been moved from house to house. Now, we have a space we LOVE to be in and feel motivated to do projects and play instead of avoiding the garage and everything in it at all costs. Let me just start by saying that Jeff and his squad at Koncept Garage are the Michelangelos of the garage world! Our garage was chaotic, to put it mildly, a place where even our cars were questioning their life choices. But thanks to these garage gurus, it's now a "sanctuary of organization." The attention to detail these folks have is so precise; it's like they have garage lasers for eyes. Even my pet dust bunnies had to find new homes. And as for my neighbors, they're now suffering from "Garage Envy." Now, our holiday decorations are meticulously labeled and my sports equipment actually have places to go. It's like Martha Stewart and MacGyver had a lovechild in my garage! Efficient, well organized and the BEST customer service to help anyone through the process of getting back to normal. I can finally park my trucks inside my garage after 14 years of acquiring some good items and junk as well. Jeff and his team definitely know how to decipher what to keep and what needs to be thrown away or donated to charity. Jeff and his crew at concept were an absolute joy to work with! Excellent communication of options, cost, schedules the entire time, incredibly knowledgeable team. Took the time to assess and work with my on my specific needs, and handled the huge hassle of organizing deliveries, removing trash, and donating goods for me. Koncept Garage gave me my money's worth! I've hardly worked with more helpful and willing people to put a large closet and part of my garage to rights. I have so much more room for storage and it's so much more organized in my closet. They helped us sort and give away and decide what to keep, and how to store what we kept. I was impressed that they even brought creative containers for things like my birdseed and other things that needed to be stored more correctly. I already had a high standard set for our project when I contacted Jeff and team. After we met, they had raised my expectations. When they completed the job, it exceeded my expectations. They turned out cluttered garage into a highly organized space, and allowed us to get the use out of it we originally intended, which includes storing all of our tools and outdoor equipment, having a functional workout area, and allow us to park our vehicles in the garage. I had estimates from $200 to over 1K $$$ when I sent out a list of items I anticipated needed to be removed. One of the many things I liked about Pick Up Haulers is that they do their best to sort everything that they pick up and try to recycle it at the appropriate places instead of just taking it all to the landfill. They ended up spending more than a couple of hours lifting and carrying stuff out to their flatbed trailer /they also disassembled a trundle bed and were able to take it in the mattress to the truck . They determine their price based on the amount of space (? Cubic feet )We ended up using about 3/4 of their space on their large flatbed trailer and the fee was just a little over $300. I felt that was very fair for the services provided. Texas in May isn't usually quite as hot & humid as the Friday we moved. I enjoyed Chris and the young man that was his employee. They were very respectful and understood our situation. I would definitely use them again and plan to whenever we decide to move!! One thing I will say is that after this experience I definitely feel that less. (much less.!!) is more! LOL

My husband was able to reach out by calling/texting and someone was quickly able to provide a quote of $450-500 for labor, haul off and disposal which was very fairly priced. The final price was $600 as we didn't drain the hot tub and that would be a bit extra which we were fine with them handling to deconstructing and hauling away all. They also were able to quickly get us on schedule and the day of, updated us on their ETA during the arrival window. The crew was very professional and friendly and we were thrilled with the work and treatment of our property and hauling away everything, like you'd never know something used to be there, aka a hot tub! The electrical portion was left and the guy stated we could have an electrician come to cap it but other than that, JunkGuys was so helpful and great at taking care of this so quickly for us :) We look forward to reaching out again and using them next time we have projects that require further clean out and removal of things!

Review for painting side:…read more We recently had our entire downstairs painted by the Guevara team, and it was quite a struggle to get the job done and left us with additional work after the fact. Summary: Ever and his wife (Ever does the painting and the wife does the cleaning side of the company) are very nice and personable people. They really tried to finish the job strong, but there was just so much prep work that didn't happen in the beginning - which left many areas still needing work. Details: There was little to no attention to details throughout the project; from sanding, filling holes, taking old hardware off in various places, taking down light fixtures, ect. After moving in, we have found more and more areas where corners were cut, and simple prep work was not done. This has left these areas still uncompleted, despite the 9k we paid to get the job done. Additionally, while I should have asked more questions, I felt the contract was misleading with exactly what was going to get done, which led to an additional 4k scope creep at the end of the job (the doors were not going to be painted, as well as half of my laundry room). Which is a big deal! Below are some areas that were simple to do correctly, but not addressed: - Painting over screws in the wall - Neglecting to remove light fixtures - Not filling in holes as needed - Unpainted areas/Not painting all the trim - Getting significant amount of overspray on our brand new 13k wood floors - Leaving previous caulking around various areas and painting over it I also struggled to keep trash picked up out of our yard while their crew was working on our home. There were constantly whataburger bags, coke cans, and to-go containers left all around our front yard, leaving even more work for us. While it looks good from afar, there are spots that still need work in every single room. This is not only frustrating, it has left us feeling like we overpaid, and with buyers remorse. If we hadn't been under such a time crunch, we would have switched contractors mid project.

He did a marvelous job, you cannot tell now that there was ever an issue. He applied the drywall, textured and painted. I find the hourly rate to be very reasonable. If supplies are needed the pro savings are passed on to the customer. They get my highest recommendation!
