What an amazing Thai restaurant. The ambience is just stunning. I love the lights in the ceiling and the wall decorations. But what's more important is the food was phenomenal. Both the curry and the pad Thai were some of the best that we've had! The people the people at the table next to us were even commenting on how good it was. I think it's deceiving when you walk in because you are unsure what to expect. It's almost like you're going to order at the counter, but then they seat you. And you were delivered flavorful, quality food. I would definitely return.

We came across this Thai restaurant just because it's close to the place our kids was playing and we needed to grab lunch! The papaya salad came out (Thai style) wow! The flavor blew us away. Chicken satay came out and it was moist and soft and big sticks of chicken! Not the little skinny kind! Fried calamari came out and we also loved it and ordered a second portion of it! Finally our last dish was the duck salad! Everything was so good! We will definitely be back'

Koon Thai is a clean and nicely decorated Thai restaurant. I started with the Thai iced tea which was not over sweet. I enjoyed it. Ordered fried dumplings, Pad Thai with medium spice and a tom kha soup with chicken. The kitchen is small and the place was half full on our visit. They were also doing a good amount of take put orders. They have beer and wine for those drinkers. The fried dumplings were decent. The presentation for all the food was amazing. The pad Thai was next level good. It has shrimp and they left the peanuts on the side. It was the perfect amount of spice and they gave us extra chili oil just in case. The highlight for me was the tom kha soup which for me was other worldly good. It was perfect. Koon Thai is in a commercial area near the airport. There are a lot of other restaurants here. There is great food here and it is reasonably priced.

Awesome Thai restaurant. The food was fresh and spicy. Very close to Orlando Airport. The staff was friendly and their service was excellent. The restaurant is clean and open. Awesome place to come to!

First time here for dinner last night. Ordered our usual favorites, Tom Kha soup with chicken, beef panang and chicken pad Thai. Everything was delicious. However, soup hardly had any chicken in it and had lots of whole mushrooms which was different. Also different was the broccoli in the panang which we've never seen. Pad Thai was probably one of the best I've had. Service was different here. You enter and see a counter where you would think to order first. A sign says to take a menu and find a seat. A server comes to take orders but you have to pay at the front counter. Overall, the place has a nice and cozy atmosphere.

This was my second time at Koon, and I'm so glad I came back! The first time I went was with a friend, she asked if I had ever tried it, and when I said no, she was like "let's go!" I'm so happy she introduced me to this place. It's a small, cozy, family-owned spot, which makes it feel really welcoming. The food was so good the first time that I had to bring my husband back to try it. This time we ordered the yellow chicken curry and the pad cashew nut, and both dishes were amazing, full of flavor and super satisfying. The service was just as great, friendly and welcoming from start to finish. Definitely a spot we'll keep coming back to!

Small relaxed spot serving up delicious Thai food! Great service. We got seated immediately and food came out pretty quickly. The Thai iced tea was way too sweet for my liking, but otherwise very good.

We originally stopped by just for mango sticky rice after eating next door at the Mexican restaurant. A week later, I came back for dinner and--holy smokes. Our favorite Thai spot is 45 minutes away, but this place is much closer and just as good. Absolutely incredible food! Matt was awesome!

Food: 5 Service: 4 Ambience: 5 Date/Time: 2/2/2025 11:30pm Order: Korean Noodles, Drunken Noodles Crowd: only 1 other table occupied but by the end of lunch, 4 more filled Food was excellent and spiced just right at level 2 heat. There was a good portion of food on the plate. The noodles and chicken were both tasty and tender. Service was good but the guy at the counter who was also your server could use some caffeine to perk up a bit. Walking around with hands in pockets and no smile gives off some negative vibes. The place was decorated up really nice with plants all around. Very inviting! Highly recommend it.

    Pad Prik Khing with chicken

I was excited to see a Thai restaurant near me that had Pad Prik Khing on their menu. So I decided to give it a try and places a take-out order. The restaurant is clean and comfortable inside; nice for casual dining. My Tom Yum soup was good, hot, and perfect heat (I chose mild). The Pad Prik Khing (I chose chicken as my protein) was a little disappointing. Presentation was nice, but the chicken and green beans were sitting in a bowl of broth. It usually has a red curry paste that kind of sticks to the chicken & veggies; saucy and definitely not a broth. I will not be ordering this again whenever I decide to give it a second chance.

This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants hands down. The food is fantastic the service is not the best but fair. It's always clean & tidy. If you haven't tried the onion soup as an appetizer please do so you won't be disappointed. My favorite meal is the white rice w/ beef & broccoli.

The food here is delicious, hot, and so flavorful! While staying at a hotel close by traveling on vacation, my wife found this spot, we took a rideshare there because it was so hot and we were not disappointment. We were greeted warmly and were immediately seated. It wasn't crowded. They have a multitude of freshly made options and Thai faves. We started with the crispy spring rolls and crab rangoons. Both were bursting with flavor. They come beautifully served on a board of greens, shredded carrots, and hibiscus blossom. The chicken fried rice is served heartily--they give you enough to take home. Everything was amazing, the bathrooms were spotless, and the milk teas are a great refresher after enjoying what tasted a great homemade Thai lunch or dinner. Great spot for lunch and well-done!

Food was incredible! Service provided by the cashier (middle-aged white man with a combover) was unprofessional, rude and snappy.

The inside of the restaurant was beautifully decorated and was very clean. Seating was comfortable and tables were not too close together. Items ordered: Wonton soup x2 - Wontons with spinach and broth were good. Curry puff - As a curry fan, these small curry puffs reminded me of curry flavored empanadas. I enjoyed the bite sized portions and texture. Beef pho - As expected and taste was fine Chicken pho - As expected and taste was fine Yum Kung (shrimp salad) - This was so delicious! Loved the flavors and spices/aromatics and everyone who tried it loved it as well. Pad Thai - As expected and taste was fine. Their menu offered a lot of options and included gluten free food as well. Definitely a place to visit if you are craving authentic Thai food in Orlando! Our waitress spoke with us and places she had lived in Asia and we had a lovely conversation about food and travel.

We ordered the oysters, which were delicious and came with a green sauce that had just the right amount of spice. We also had the Yum Ta Krai Salmon, which tasted incredibly fresh. The Goong Prik Kluea shrimp were large, flavorful, and perfectly cooked! Our favorite dishes of the night were definitely the chicken Tom Kha soup and the Pa Nang scallops. I love a good Tom Kha soup, and this was easily the best I've ever had! It was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced, served over a special dish with a flame underneath to keep it hot throughout the meal, such a nice touch! The other standout was the Pa Nang scallops. Whoever makes the sauce for this dish is a genius! I almost wanted to grab a straw and drink the sauce by itself. The scallops were cooked perfectly, and the flavors were incredible. Wow! They also have a great drink menu, but we took advantage of their happy hour specials and ordered a passion fruit mimosa and a coconut mojito. Both had authentic, fresh fruit flavors and paired perfectly with the meal. There is also a speakeasy bar called NOIR, where you can hang out before or after dinner. Great music, great drinks, and definitely worth checking out!
