New Thai street food spot near UCF! The staff were friendly and attentive, and the menu has a great variety. I ordered the thai tea, curry puffs, and moo ping grilled pork skewers with sticky rice. The curry puffs were generously sized and came with a cucumber sauce that was delicious. The skewers were juicy and full of flavor. The thai tea was refreshing and not overly sweet. Would definitely recommend, and I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more.

We wanted to order takeout however the restaurant was busy and no one answered so we end up going there, which end up being a great thing. We ordered quite a few things and they all turned out very delicious! I love all the sauces that each dishes came with! The owner is very friendly and accommodating.

Lert Thai was amazing! The food tasted fresh and homemade -- just like mom used to make. Great flavors, friendly service, and this is my new favorite restaurant when visiting my daughter at UCF. My go-to was The Mills, but now we have this spot so close to UCF. We'll definitely be back!

    Tofu Pad Ke Mao

We tried takeout and it was absolutely delicious, flavorful, and made right! We got tofu drunken noodles and tofu pad Thai, sooo yummy! Normally takeout Thai doesn't have much flavor but this place got it right. They recommended mild (we usually get medium everywhere else) and it was Perfect, with lots of flavor and still a good amount of spice. The portions were also good, and fair pricing. So excited that they opened near UCF, Can't wait to try more dishes!

We started…read morewith the veggie spring rolls and the roti bread, which comes with a delicious green curry dipping sauce. Both were fantastic. For my entrée, I had the beef pad kee mow--flat rice noodles with bell peppers, Thai basil, chili, and their signature spicy wok sauce. It was flavorful, spicy, and absolutely delicious! My colleague had the shrimp pad kra plow with Thai basil, chili, bell peppers, and rice, and loved it as well. Of course, we had to finish with the mango sticky rice, which was the perfect dessert. Everything was delicious, and the service was superb! The restaurant is also very nicely decorated, making it a great atmosphere for lunch or dinner. One thing to note: parking can be a little tricky. I parked in the parking structure behind the restaurant, which worked out well. Overall, a fantastic meal and a great experience. I'll definitely be back!

We visited Talay on a Thursday around 7:15pm. It wasn't too busy, and they seated us quickly. The…read moreservice was really good throughout our visit. To eat, we started by splitting the chor muang dumplings. These were gorgeous purple dumplings, but I found that their flavor was very delicate. The wrapper was somehow both gummy and overly delicate and broke. They were okay, but definitely more of an aesthetic dish. Next, we got one of the specials, which was a small tart shell filled with raw tuna. This was good, but I felt that the sauce overpowered the delicate fish. For mains, I ended up ordering the kor moo yang (pork jowel). This was the star of the show, it was super tender and flavorful. The relish was barely necessary to be honest. I'd definitely order this again, or get it as an appetizer to split with a few people before the main. To drink, I was really surprised that none of their cocktails were modifiable considering that they have a full bar. They didn't have any cocktails that were speaking to me, so I ended up ordering a zero proof drink, the honey's passion, with a shot of vodka on the side to spike it. This was a good solution. I would probably not go to talay again for food because there are so many good Thai places here, and the food just didn't stand out, but I'd definitely hit the bar for some drinks if I had more time.
