The waitress was polite and accommodating--especially given that I spilled water all over the table and seat. I ordered the tofu appetizer and wanted the red snapper but they were out so I replaced the red snapper with tilapia and added broccoli. Both were delicious. What a gem! We kept driving by, meaning to try this spot. Finally, we made it happen. The service is so friendly and welcoming. The whole restaurant just radiates good vibes and is so cozy! I love the ambience. It just seems like they put so much love and care into the space. Even the music was peaceful and only added to the ambience and coziness even more. My friend and I agree these are some of the best crab ragoons we have had. My friend got the pad Thai ( medium spice) I am not the biggest fan of pad Thai but if you are you will enjoy it. We found this little jewel when we decided on Thai for lunch after church. We were promptly seated in the small but very comfortable dining room. The ambiance is quite lovely. Our server was very friendly and efficient. We had the chicken satay (the peanut sauce is excellent) and the Teriyaki Chicken. Both were very good - fresh and flavorful. The prices are very fair. The outside doesn't match the inside at all, which is good. The decor inside was cozy and intimate, we found it to be quiet, unassuming, and relaxing for a Saturday at 5pm. LOOOOVE this restaurant. It's nestled in an area of HEB that doesn't have a ton of popular businesses around it, but it's so worth visiting. The interior is cozy and clean, and service is typically quick. I always order the khao mun kai, and it's honestly one of my top 5 favorite dishes I've had in DFW. Stopped by for lunch on a Monday around 2pm- note they close from 3p-4p daily before dinner service. Started with a Thai Iced Tea, this is a sweet Thai tea with half and half- very sweet and kind of a smoky taste. A Friday evening meal at one of our local Thai restaurants. Been here a few times. Decided to try a couple of new menu items. Lynelle McDowell Dye , not my current sponsor, since it is not cycling season and she just paid for reservations for our next vacation. We started with Edamame. For entrees she ordered "Koracha Fride Rice", a fried rice with shrimp and Chinese sausage. I ordered Yum Woon Zen (in the salad menu). It also had 2 large shrimp and chicken as protein. She had level 0. I ordered level 2/5. Since it was a salad, the salad dressing at level 2 was a little warm. I ate half of the dish and took the rest home to defrost the freezer. This place has great food and great take out. For the first time randomly I ordered the basil duck. Winner, winner, duck dinner! The duck was amazing and the flavor was the best! The pork shu mai dumplings are very big and filling. Kids did not like. I liked but they were lacking some flavor but I still liked them a lot and the dipping sauce is delish! I ordered the cream cheese wontons which I liked and one out of 2 kids liked. Eggrolls dissapeared instantly. So good and so hot even after delivery!! . I ordered orange chicken for my kids because that's normally their go to. They liked it. I was on the fence but probably because the duck was so good. I also ordered the pad Thai because it mentioned that it was #1 seller. It is very sweet if you don't add spice. Kids said no, I liked it a lot. I added $3 for shrimp, not a ton of shrimp. I should've stuck with free chicken. But the shrimp was cooked great! Also the tom kha soup was pretty good too. I love they have lunch specials to go. The interior of the restaurant fits the casual vibe and is always clean! Or is it a cozy place ithe great food where you are always treated like you matter. If it's the latter, then this is the place for you. Love this place! The location used to be very run down and dirty before Koracha came onto the scene, and I love how they have transformed the space! Their decor is like a master class in how to create a warm environment that transports you while you dine, even in such a small space. I always get a pot of hot tea here, I love that it is an option! It was late and this was one of the few sit down restaurants that was still open. Coming into the restaurant I had little expectation. I thought it was going to be a casual non authentic thai place. Boy was I wrong. This is by far the best Thai place I have been to. I got the papaya salad as an appetizer with spice level 2. They do not mess with their spice, I think 5 is the highest. 2 was already very spicy. Pad kee mow came out hot and delicious. The noodles were soft and addictingly flavorful. However; the highlight of the night was the crying tiger dish. I have no idea how they made the steak so flavorful. It was sweet yet savory and the sauce that went with knocked it out of the park. We stopped by Koracha Thai for a quick lunch over the weekend. When you arrive there is plenty of parking off to the sides of the restaurant. The restaurant is completely flipped on the inside and is super welcoming/clean. We sat down and started our meal by ordering the dumplings (Steamed grounded shrimp, pork and vegetables wrapped in a wonton served with sweet soy sauce) which were excellent! I've been on a Thai food binge this month so I've tried all the best Thai restaurants in my own neighborhood already. Found myself planning a trip to Dallas and was excited about the prospect of trying some Thai food out here. Koracha was nearby and had some pretty good reviews, so it won our business. The parking lot isn't the largest but the exterior of the restaurant is very stylish. Walking inside, everything looks clean, well-maintained, and well-decorated. We were invited to sit anywhere and were promptly presented with menus. Because we showed up close to closing, I ordered immediately and asked to be closed out as soon as the food arrived. We had the panang curry with chicken, the pad see ew with beef, and mango sticky rice for dessert. After closing out, I saw that there had been an extra charge for beef with the pad see ew and the mango sticky rice was considerably pricier than what I have experienced at other Thai restaurants. It's on me for not reading the menu thoroughly before ordering, but my expectations for these dishes were definitely increased after factoring in cost. The pad see ew was by all means delicious! The beef was not the best I've had, but it tasted good. The panang curry however, I felt was not so much to my liking. The chicken was drier than I would've liked and something about the consistency of the coconut milk here made the curry very runny and light on flavor. The mango sticky rice we took to-go so as not to stay after closing. Half a mango that was bitter and overripe with the same size portion of sticky rice. Sometimes mangoes are just hit or miss, sometimes sweet sometimes bitter, but the coconut milk again was just extremely runny. I'll leave it at I've had better, and I expected better for the price point here. Service was excellent! Our server was quick with the menus, quick in closing us out, and in bringing to-go boxes. She didn't seem bothered that we showed up so close to closing time either, which is worth a shout-out in and of itself. If I were to come again, I'd definitely order the pad see ew. read more

We chose this spot based on their strong reviews and their menu. First off, I have to say that the service was great throughout the meal. The ambiance is not exactly highbrow, but the atmosphere is very welcoming nonetheless. We started with some dumplings and the the Tom Yum soup. Lots of big shrimp in the tangy lemongrass soup and the dumplings were fantastic. I got a house specialty- The Crying Tiger, which is sliced ribeye served with a flavorful side sauce and rice.
