We got to talking and he said b/c of COVID that he could come give me private lessons at my company warehouse. I've been wanting to start doing some type of workouts again other than cycling. A few months ago, a Goat-faced Gypsy bum told me I had a potbelly, so it just motivated me even more. Anyway, we've been doing our thing 4 times a week for 3 months and I love it. From wrist-lock reverses, headlock shrug-offs transitioning into neck slams, elbow strikes to the face, escaping a neck grab and converting into an arm-bar...he goes through it all. He is extremely thorough on exactly how much extension any of these holds need to go to produce only pain/submission versus what point you destroy the other persons tendons/requires surgery, if that's how the fight needs to go. Brandon, you changed my fight game. Holla!

And I'm glad I did! Overall, my experience was nothing short of fantastic. The group of people I work out and go to classes with is a great group of guys, everyone they have teaching classes is very knowledgeable, and they're good at helping everyone get better regardless of their belt level. I also like the fact they have open mats here almost every Sunday afternoon at 3pm, and they also offer a free BJJ street combative class as well to all their members that are looking to learn self defense for the streets in real life.
