I just went to the Korman Wunderbar MedSpa for my first time doing any type of MedSpa procedure. I had an amazing Hydrafacial with Nikki and it was fabulous. We had a great time chatting. She was super friendly and did a great job on my sensitive skin! I was glowing when I left! I can't wait to go back. I was originally scheduled with nurse Hana for Botox but then I was switched to Dr Kelsey Lipman at the last minute after my facial. I am so very grateful that I was! Dr Lipman took her time with me. I felt that she genuinely listened to my concerns and she was patient.(Even though it was already almost 5:00 and I'm sure she wanted to go home). She addressed all my concerns and all of my questions, which were numerous. This was my first time getting Botox and discussing fillers with any doctor. Dr Lipman made me feel very much at ease and made sure I had thorough understanding of everything. She was not pushy at all. She respected the fact that I wanted to have a lighter approach, and she tailored her technique to what I wanted. Dr Lipman really knows what areas to inject. I could tell by her process of telling me how to move my face, and strategically placing the shot, she *really* knows what she's doing. Obviously, Dr. Lipman has a great education but bedside manner is something that cannot be taught- it is intrinsic. Dr Lipman was super kind. When she did the first injection in my glabella, I started hyperventilating and freaked out. I have a needle phobia going back a long time, and I'm diagnosed with panic attack and anxiety disorder. The shot felt weird, since I was not used to it. I freaked out and said, "I can't do this anymore. Please stop!" She immediately stopped and said, "No problem at all, just relax and breathe, you don't have to do anything you don't want to do." Then she smiled and said, "Hey I'll be right back. I have something for you!" So here I am, trying to calm myself down because I just freak out about needles like that. (It stems from massive dental trauma when I was young). I really wanted the Botox though, I wanted that gift for myself. Dr Lipman came back in with a synthetic breast implant! She told me what it was and said ,"Many patients find this is better than a stress ball." Lol I had never seen or felt a breast implant before, so this was already novel and also amusing. She was totally right! It was actually extremely soothing. better than a squish ball to squeeze for stress! LOL so I'm cracking up about squeezing this breast implant and feeling much better about things so I asked her to please continue. She did, and she took her time and reminded me to breathe and told me when to relax. It was great, and totally not painful. Plucking my eyebrows feels worse. She was fabulous, she recommended when I should take breaths in when she's going to do the injections, and the whole procedure moved really fast. Many of the injections were completely painless, this was all my own psychological doing that freaked me out. I I highly recommend Dr Kelsey Lipman for any of your cosmetic needs. She really impressed me with her customer service skills and caring for me as a patient. Due to a personal history of anaphylactic shock, I had some concerns about a potential allergic reaction. Dr Lipman was kind enough to share her cell phone number with me in case of an emergency so I can call her right away!! I really value that service and compassion. This high level of care has been something that's been very rare throughout my medical history. Thanks again Dr Lipman, you are amazing! I look forward to next time. read more

Due to excess skin that resulted from a major weight loss, I wanted a lower face lift, as recommended to me by a trusted plastic surgeon before he retired. Dr. Korman recommended a "MACS" lift where "where lifting and tightening are focused on the face and neck areas." What his ad doesn't tell you, but he does, is that the procedure does, in fact, not cover the neck area but after a conversation and demonstration from Dr. Korman, I decided to go ahead with the procedure. There was no anesthetic and while he was cutting, he spent most of the time chatting with his colleagues in the room. Afterwards, he told me there would be no followup, which I found very surprising. Having had several other procedures, I already had an idea of what (I thought) I should expect afterwards. First of all, the left side of my lower face still droops. An area approximately 1/2" by 4" on the right side turned blood red from blood released below the skin. Six months later it is still visible. Neither side looks like what he showed me (on my face) I could expect prior to the procedure. There was, in fact, absolutely no followup afterwards. For the first time, I have visible scars around my ears. And, I still look like I need to have a lower face lift. I spent $16K for minimal improvement. I would never go to this doctor again, nor would I ever recommend him to anyone else. read more

What my pre-op nose measurements were (it's still as long as before - I look like Pinocchio) (+) Successful in removing the bump on left outside nose. Dr Korman was unable to verbalize a meaningful response to my concerns about the new disturbing cartilage growths on the inside of my nostrils that are now still there 15 months post Rhinoplasty. They don't return calls. When I put a poor review at first and asked for 20% reimbursement of what I had paid he said I must first sign a form saying I will remove my bad Yelp review!! He was upset my my calm statementswas so upset and he had me in a closed room I had to ask to be let out and go outside for fresh air. read more

I have been seeing Nurse Hana at the Wunderbar Med Spa within Korman Plastic Surgery for almost two years now, and I highly recommend seeing her! Right off the bat, she took the time to explain the benefits of different treatments (I originally was seeking IPL) she shared with me all of the things we could do to achieve my desired results, and why. For example she talked about BBL and what that does and why it is a great start for a skincare journey (evening the tone of the face by reducing redness and removing brown spots). This was the first treatment aside from Botox that I started with her and since then have also done the PRP facials ("Vampire Facials"), as well as a few other things along the way.... She is always so good at what she does and I'm thrilled with my results. When I look back at photos from first seeing her to now, I can really tell how much improvement has been made, and it's so exciting!! Also why I wouldn't go to anyone else! I also appreciate, when it comes to Botox, she is honest I'm not wanting to overdo it and completely freeze a face, she talks about why you want some motion for the health of your face, etc. and I think it says a lot that she doesn't just try to inject a ton of units just because. Too bad I can't give 0 stars. How Dr. Korman has 30 years of experience baffles me because he is beyond incompetent. If you ever want to do a tummy tuck or gynecomastia removal, please avoid this place! Dr. Korman had the extraordinary talent of botching all my procedures in one sitting. I look worse after my surgery than I did before and I would have been much better off burning my $31k. 1. He made my belly button several centimeters off-center. He tried to gaslight me into believing that was my natural anatomy but it looked so off, so I went to several plastic surgeons and they felt my real midline and said it's so off center that they'd have to redo the tummy tuck to avoid significant scarring on the belly button. P.S. He also has a very outdated technique for belly buttons by doing outer incisions. Look at the hideous scar around my belly button. 2. He barely took any fat out. My post OP report said he removed just 950 cc of fat total (that's 2 pounds at best). I was left with gigantic flanks and so much laxity that it's almost as if I didn't do an extended tummy tuck at all. (On the bright side, several plastic surgeons said I still have significant loose skin that I can redo the tummy tuck and get a better job and belly button). 3. He over-resected my glands and did not do enough contouring leaving me with an ugly crater on my left chest which apparently is a difficult gyno complication to fix cause there's no guarantee fat grafting will work if the fat cells don't survive. The worst part was his lack of accountability. He knew he did a bad job and kept on gaslighting me into thinking I was just in the healing process and was very rude, smug and defensive throughout as if I got my procedure done for free and didn't have the right to be dissatisfied. Had he been more comforting in such an emotionally and mentally traumatic period for me, I wouldn't even have written this review. Look at the other constructive reviews (and be sure to scroll down to look at the hidden ones as well) to notice the pattern. I consulted with over 6 top surgeons across the US for revisions and they unanimously said he did a bad job. He offered to do a revision in 6 months but I'd be silly if I went back to him given his blatant incompetence. If you sense any red flags with Dr. Korman, please believe them and don't be like me and waste $31k. read more

I usually don't post reviews but they're deserving of this!... I was looking for treatment for my under eye bags and I'm so happy I found the Korman team. Nicole was my patient coordinator and she was super responsive through the entire process. I only had a small window of recovery time and they were able to expedite my procedure the following week after my consultation. I was a little nervous for the recovery but it wasn't so bad. I had the procedure on a Wednesday and was back to work on Friday (worked from home) and back to the office on Monday. I'm writing this review at five weeks and pretty much completely healed (a little scar tissue still healing). Dr Korman and his team are fantastic, including Dr Lipman who helped me achieve the full look I wanted for my under eyes with a some filler for a little extra smoothness. I'm truly happy with the results! Super friendly staff and over all great experience. I highly recommend for surgical and non surgical procedures. read more

I've done various different non-surgical fat loss "solutions" over the years, mainly thanks to Groupon promotions. In retrospect, that was probably a sign that they were hokey and/or ineffective. Not so with Coolsculpting. I did my research, looked at the before and afters, and, while still skeptical, I booked an initial consultation at Korman Plastic Surgery with Patrick. He made me feel comfortable about the procedure right away and answered all of my questions, but moreover he was very honest and not at all pushy about the areas I wanted done and how many treatments I wanted. I had minimal discomfort when I got the actual procedure done with the exception of the "massage" - they REALLY work those areas, but it's all for the best results. Each treatment doesn't last very long but it can add up if you get a lot done in one session, so be aware if you are getting it done on your lunch break. Results also take a while to see, but the results are incredible for such a short, relatively painless, and non-invasive process. I lost about 1/2 to 1 clothing size in each of the areas I got done, above and beyond normal weight loss. I still have a few weeks to wait for my final results (it takes 3 weeks to start seeing results and 8-16 to for the body to process all of the fat cells), but I am really happy with how it's going and I'll probably end up doing another session depending on how the summer bod goes. read more

I just completed my three sessions of microneedling with the awesome Nurse Nicole at Korman Plastic Surgery. My main reason for doing so was to tighten the skin underneath my chin and neck area, but I also received many additional benefits such as the tightening of my jawline and lightening of the hyperpigmentation on my face. I am more than pleased with my results, but also very happy with Nurse Nicole not only having fabulous skills, but also a fabulous personality. I'm two weeks post op from my TT with Lipo to my flanks and back. At my consultation I was recommended to lose 30LBS before my surgery to get the results I wanted. I recently went in for COOLSCULPTING prior to my wedding. I have always had an athletic build but with no definable waistline. In the hopes of achieving a more hourglass figure I went in because they were having an amazing sale. I had 8 applicators put on and after just 2 months I saw and felt a MASSIVE difference. I was unhappy with my excess belly fat and semi- hanging flap above my c-section scar. I had 2 children but my last birth (3 years earlier) just really cause my abdominal area to look worst than ever due to the c-section. Nicole B. was so patient our first time speaking over the phone. I had a lot of questions and concerns because I was new to body surgery. Nicole was really kind. The consultations are FREE. I met Nicole in person and she was just as kind as she was previously on the telephone. I really did not want to get a tummy tuck since it is more invasive also healing time required. First time meeting Dr. Korman he friendly and easy to talk to. I had a lot of anxiety (exposing my most self-conscious area my tummy). Dr. Korman said I would be a good candidate for SmartLipo/Vaser. I would get the procedure done one abdominal, back, underarms, and thighs. Yay! Dream come true! The front office helped me process my loan with Credit Care. I was able to schedule the procedure and get in only a week later =), Day of Surgery: The surgery site is next door (same building, different suit #), the staffs were very nice getting me situated for the procedure. When I woke from the procedure there was a nurse by my bed side helping me and wheeled me out to my DD's car. Post surgery: Healing was pretty smooth although there were lots of swelling the 3-5 days. I had a post op appointment the next day, and Dr. Korman told me I had about 7 pounds fo fat remove @-@. I'm on post surgery day 6. I can already see a difference already no more muffin top, and I have a waistline again! I can't wait to see how it'd bee i the next 3-6 weeks!
