I wanted to see a doctor right away, and could not get in to see Dr. Winkler for about a month, so I saw Dr. Brenner instead. Dr. Brenner was fabulous -- direct, clear, caring. He examined me, and then took some biopsies, and soon after diagnosed me with a type of head and neck cancer. He gave me his cell phone number and, before and during my treatment, he kept tabs on me to make sure I was receiving excellent care. I still have follow up appointments with him a few times a year. I highly recommend him. My elderly mom also saw him and the audiologist, Rachel, who also was fantastic. The office staff is exceptional - Wanda at the front desk is especially helpful. The only downside is that they are out of network with my insurance company. Thanks to the Chevy Chase ENT team for the wonderful care!

He quoted a price of $2,500. And said I had satisfied my deductible so it would not cost me. He did the surgery and was paid by insurance, later when viewing my EOB's noticed he had billed my insurance company several times for the same surgery and actually collected over 10k. I reported him to the insurance company for fraud and never heard back from the insurance co. In addition I have had multiple nose bleeds as he láseres them and did not cauterized properly. This man should lose his license to practice medicine he's a thief and not a good doctor. He has no one that works in his office he does all his own billing so there's nobody to blame any of this on but himself obvious reasons he's done that so that he could keep his dishonesty and cheating of insurance companies under wraps.

They are now retroactively collecting payments for the past 5 years, if they could not collect from insurance. THAT IS DIABOLICAL. They note that the billing center they previously worked with was not doing their job, and they have a 5-year window to collect. I understand, but how is that our fault as patients? It is not. People could owe thousands of dollars, depending on the services received. I am angry, disheartened, and just so disappointed. If you cannot manage your business effectively, that is on you.
