Unprofessional and rude…read more My sister was being seen for anxiety and depression. In the 9 months she tried to receive counseling and medication, her appointments were cancelled three times! All because the doctor was unable to make the appointment. She was also unable to receive a prescription for medication unless she had at least two counseling appointments scheduled, even when they had kept canceling. They won't accept any recommendations from counselors outside of Ascendent for medication. For someone who needed help and took the tremendous step to get treatment, she was met with hostility and inflexibility. When she needed a refill on her single prescription, she had to call 4 times over a week before she was able to talk to a person and not an answering machine. The receptionist then said that they would not be able to give her a refill until she'd had another appointment. Then my sister was told that her provider had LEFT the practice with all her records, then returned! It was disorganized and chaotic and with no apology offered for the confusion, my sister is done being offered zero help and is ready to find another provider. Hopefully one who can actually keep appointments. She does clarify that Natasha (receptionist) and Celeste (counselor) were very kind and professional. My sister was glad to have been in their care. But with all the other issues, it's just not worth it.

They basically force you to agree to make more appts whether you want to or not. I've never felt like all I was good for was money. I did there. They acted really nice at 1st, but became rude when I wouldn't sign my life away with therapy hours. I was so pressured that I finally agreed, but then called a few later & cancelled the rest. If you love car salesmen, you'll love their approach.
