Cool person to conversate with knowlageble. Her work looks really good online. We took a chance with her but I should've left when she was late to my appointment. I did message her inregards to her ERRORS. Yes she mention retouch plenty of times I understand some people need it and like she mention she has no control over healing. But hey our eyebrows shouldn't look this fucked up. I did have prior work before keep in mind my mom didn't. We paid $350 each $700 that's about 2 weeks of hard work. My mom and I went to get our eyebrows done the same day, yes they looked great THAT day. But as they start peeling and we get the final result they look Horrible. Yes she works from home (nothing wrong with that) But my mothers experience was horrible. This was a mothers day gift and i feel embarrased that i talked her into getting a horrible job done. As my mom is getting her eyebrows done she says Kourtney has horrible allergies my mom is fine with that but shes expecting her to ask her to come back another day which she had no problem doing. But no she keeps working, when she is finished she shows my mom the results, my mom tells her they are to light and Kourtney agrees. Ok she puts a darker color and my mom takes off. A few days after when her eyebrows begins to peel its like there's nothing there color is so light ( her eyebrows look a few yeats old) I then start noticing the missing strokes on my eyebrows.I messaged her, she asked did you guys follow my instructions? Ofcouse we paid alot not to. I asked about retouch to fix her error. She replies with its $200 for a retouch. OK? but this is your error why would i pay $200 more ontop of what was already paid? Reminder $350 is ALOT of money. She then explained that I needed retouch because i had prior work, i tell her ok but how about my moms work? Ok she said she will fix her but i have to retouch myself first. Why would i pay for work again when i wasnt content the first time? My point is she doesn't own up to her mistakes, we are all human it happens I understand but girl you are running a business be professional fix the errors you make. This review is a long time over due but I'm just as happy with the work today as I was 2 months ago when Courtney (who was the sweetest and most accommodating person) first did my eyebrows and liner. When I went back for touch ups (this is normal). She said that I had done an excellent job with my aftercare. Which she had instructed me on and gave me a lot of info to go over. Anytime I had a question, she was always quick to respond and patient with me. I will start by letting everyone know that Courtney is as wonderful as everyone else here has said she is. If this review was based on her exceptional personality alone, I'd be willing to give her as many stars as she'd like me to. Honestly, she is the epitome of good customer service. I had always wanted to have microblading done, but I was always too scared to go through with it. I don't have any tattoos so having this done to the most visible part of me is scary, to say the least. For several months, I'd do research on the process and on the businesses near me that provided the service. I'd stalk their Instagram pages and read reviews just to be sure I was making the right choice. In the end, I made the decision to go with Courtney based on her incredible reviews and on her work she's posted on her Instagram page. I called her the day after Thanksgiving knowing that there's a chance she'd be closed or would not see me because of the holidays. She picks up the phone and I ask if she'd be okay with seeing me the same day. She spoke to me as if I was already a friend of hers and was more than willing to see me. I was ecstatic! A few hours later, I'm signing some paperwork and lying on her table ready to have her expert hands tattoo my eyebrows. I'm speeding through the story, of course, but in actuality, Courtney walked me through the process, kept me in the loop about what she was doing, and took her time in drawing in my perfect set of brows. She'd ask for my opinion and see if there was anything I wanted to change and she was so patient with me through it all. While tattooing, she'd constantly ask if I was okay and she would talk to me to keep me comfortable. After she finished my first eyebrow, she handed me a mirror so that I can see the progress. I couldn't believe what I saw; I was so happy I almost jumped up to give her a hug. When she finished the whole process, she asked if I was happy with them. I couldn't tell you just how happy I was because the excitement was beyond words. My eyebrows look incredible. I remember feeling the excitement at the mere thought of not having to do my eyebrows in the morning again. I could finally wake up to a beautiful set of brows, all the time! They look so natural I almost couldn't tell they were drawn in. Courtney is an absolute perfectionist. She didn't allow herself to be finished until she knew she gave me the perfect set of brows. I got my eyebrows done 2 months ago from Kourtney and at first they looked good and I really liked them. She works off her house in Wilmington in the living room with a massage table and a light (IT WAS VERY DARK AND COULDN'T REALLY SEE). I did see some imperfections after I washed the color off after 4 hours as she mentioned that the color on the eyebrows would last longer, although she said she was a perfectionist. So I contacted her to let her know and she said to wait 2 weeks before I contacted her with any complaints. But then when I actually saw them after all the peeling they looked different. One was thicker than the other and one was closer to the middle than the other one. If I were to give Courtney a rating just based on how sweet she is and how much she wants her clients to be happy, I would give her more than 5 stars.
