(Aka - maany years ago!) They did some very complex cleaning and work to correct said issues and that service (and they way they handled it) locked me in as a customer for life. I now go every 6 months as recommended - and find their staff, hygienists and dentists extremely professional as well as efficient. They are also very warm and friendly whenever I have questions or concerns, Any billing or scheduling issue we have had has been cleared up quickly. My only complaint? I wish they had more flexibility to their hours for those of us who don't work nearby and have 9 to 5 type hours. (perhaps offer one weekend/one night time a week?) But the service they provide outweighs that being a negative for me.

She did a good job on my incisors but work done on my molars left pockets in between the teeth that traps food, and my molar crowns look like the tops of a rooks from a chess set. I came back twice to ask her to repair them while she was working on other teeth, but little was accomplished AND I was charged for it. A year, year and a half later, and I still am dealing with this problem.

Dr. Moody tried to fit a permanent crown on my implant and tried several different sizes. He commented that if the last one didn't fit he would have to special order one. He left me with the last one and said it was good. I was there in March of 2024 for a cleaning. I told his associate the implant was hurting/ bothering me. He said 'Good news! It's NOT infected." Yet he gave me an antibiotic rinse to use for 3 months. Then I came back in May to have new crowns put on when Dr. Moody said, " your implant is severely infected. We have to pull it all out, post and all." That experience was sooo traumatic, I hadn't been back to a dentist in 2 years. They tried to get me to sign papers for payment before pulling it. I refused stating it was their fault. They agreed not to charge me. They were supposed to fill another tooth that day, which they did not, but chMarge's me anyhow. Then. The dentist I spoke with told me to try to apply for these other state benefits. When I looked into it, the particular plan, he told me to try to cut is only for people who are medically, frail or addicts. I am neither and I don't appreciate the dentist. Assuming I was either of those. Needless to say, I canceled all my appointments. I have not gone back.

I went to this dentist office when I was 17 and remember the experience well. He sent me to an oral surgeon to get my wisdom teeth taken out, and when I came back, I had my wisdom teeth out PLUS 3 back molars removed! I was only 17 so of course I didn't know anything about dentistry or really what he was doing! Weeks later for the follow-up appointment, I asked, "What happened to my back molars?" and McGue said, "Oh you don't need those." Fast forward 15 years later and I DID need those teeth! The shape of my face changed because of the unnecessary removal of 3 healthy back molars. He then did a bunch of crowns and fillings that through the years have all broken off, fell out, and need to be replaced. I'm now in the process of finding a new dentist to fix all his work. I have since gotten married - and my husband is now also a patient of Dr. McGue as well. His staff is very professional and very kind. His Dental Hygeniests are all wonderful and do a lovely job. Going to the dentist is never on anyone's list of favorite things to do, but Dr. McGue and his staff make the experience as pleasant as can be. We wouldn't think about going anywhere else.

He has a wonderful staff too...They also care. Amanda & Christy have taken time to explain my condition and options because they understand and (like I said) they care. Christy may be the new hygienist on the block (at the practice ...lol) but she brings a wealth of experience with her. She's great!! They made me feel comfortable. I ended up moving a couple of times and could never find a dentist office worth remembering. I returned to Tambrini Family Dentistry a few months ago and saw a new dentist but got the same exact care. The office workers are very nice and they definitely make an obvious effort to ensure that you are not in pain after having work done. I used my insurance and what they told me that day, is what i owed. I see alot of people mentioning costs that were not expected. Well i received No surprise bill later on down the line. I am making an appointment to go back soon and just wanted to make everyone aware that this is an obvious choice for dental work. They extracted a tooth, gave me x rays and worked up a whole dental plan for an excellent price. Looking forward to visiting again because they are just nice people. (who looks forward to visiting the dentist?) Switching my daughter to this office as well, its hard to trust people with your kids teeth, but you can trust Tambrini 100%

I recently had some work done and they helped me with working…read morearound/repairing my permanent orthodontic retainer which saved me time and money versus having to make an emergency trip to my orthodontist. I have referred several friends and they're all impressed by the wait times for appointments (I've never waited - seriously lol) and the overall feel of the staff. Good conversation keeps the appointments fun and getting in and out makes keeping them as my dentist though I moved a hour to Chicago feasible. It's hard to find a practice that you feel is looking out for you versus their bottom line/get insurance claim happy but these guys are stellar. Try them out and then head next door for El Jimador for lunch while you're at it haha!
