I think the negative reviews below were from people who did not fully understand the value this type of practice brings. I would not think of this practice as the ONLY practice to visit. But I would NEVER want to venture through modern medicine without the type of guidance this practice provides. You'll get the most value from this if you're someone who is proactive about their health and longevity. If you're into that - prepare for the best experience of your life. Most people don't care about their health until it's already failed. Dr Matusewicz has some miracle-patients that have recovered from crippling ailments as well -- but my point is, you have to be willing to make some small changes in your life (and not just depend on surgeries and prescriptions to reactively fix things that have failed). If you do unfortunately need to go into surgeries and prescriptions, Dr Matusewicz becomes even more necessary. I would have had my surgeries done by a junior surgeon at the local hospital if it was not for her. She sprung into action, and somehow managed to get me under one of the world's leading surgeon's knife within 72hrs of my diagnosis (at one of the world's best hospitals). I would have paid 100x what I have paid Dr Matusewicz for just this one example of how she's helped me and my family. I constantly tell people they NEED to get a Doctor like Dr Matusewicz to help them and their families. I truly feel terrible that people are forced to stumble through modern medicine without the true representation someone like her provides... But if you're expecting the same-old general care physician, who is just going to repeat whatever they were taught in med school - then this is not the practice for you. Dr Matusewicz is constantly exploring the cutting edges of nutrition, diagnostics & medicine. She will help you to achieve optimal health for LIFE - not just prescribe some random pill and call herself a savior. There's very few things I recommend more highly than her services!

Traditional medicine doesn't allow the time and trial required and most functional practitioners do not have the ability to prescribe the required drugs. They are limited to supplements. They cannot access all the tools available. Dr Matusewicz has both! She has the desire and intelligence to get to the root cause, AND the credentials to prescribe the appropriate drugs. In short, she has the whole toolbox and knows how to use it. She is thorough, takes plenty of time with me, and listens to what I have to say. I feel so much better than I did this time last year. I was hesitant…read moreabout this arrangement as I had wanted a lady cardio doc when I moved my care from Pinellas to Pasco county. Then, I spent time recently in a local hospital. My after care was assigned to Dr. Siva. My care required several calls to him. He responded with genuine concern, knowledge and most of all, with speed. I WAS impressed! I no longer am hesitant. (My background from working in various physician offices for over 20 years is often critical of how docs treat their patients. Furthermore, I am not afraid to voice those concerns to the chagrin of the physicians I find lacking). At this time, I would highly recommend Dr. Siva, and am now glad he is responsible for my cardiac care!

Not only did they send my husband to the hospital, they refuse to take responsibility for something they did! I've been his patient 15 years now, and I'm doing so much better because of Dr Ghanekar's care. He's very knowledgable, he diagnosed my type of colitis and fixed it. Two other specialists over 10 years with their many many colonoscopies hadn't managed that. I recommend him very highly, also urging you to get your colonoscopy done, despite the awful prep (which is a tad less awful than it used to be.)

He saw me for chronic pain & when focusing on nerve pain prescribed Cymbalta saying he takes 2 every morning himself for back pain. Red flags piled up in the few appointments we had with him between Sept-Dec 2020 & then the bill arrived & was coded for a mental health visit for just me, the one who was given an anxiety med for nerve pain. We called the office & his staff even felt like this was an error & assured us it would be taken care of & Dr. Swoager would call us back. Instead the front desk called us with a statement saying the DR believed I was depressed. We never once discussed this in the office ever & I had family there with me every time. Misdiagnosing someone is serious and stealing money is also a crime. I have PTSD but never discussed this with the DR because I was seeing him for pain. I vaguely mentioned some of the conditions I had previous diagnosis for but continued seeking help & an MRI for pain & a tumor I have, not anything else & that was clear. Dr Swoager took full advantage of me and my family, our health, & finances. Medical care isn't cheap which is why most have to pick & choose what they can afford to be seen for within that year  & Dr. Swoager took that right away from us. The 3 people in my family (self included) needed medical care and paid with time & money & still need to be seen to this day for the issues we saw Dr. Swoager for starting in September of last year and we are just now receiving more bills being charged at the higher mental health rate, not all, just some & no explanation for why other than a false diagnosis from a doctor who never discussed my mental state with me ever.

I thought at that point it was over. Nope a few days later they charge me again on the previous credit card that I had used. Without authorization. The billing department has both people out now so I can't even talk to anyone about the issue. Now, while waiting for one of them to get back in the office... I just received another email saying my payment is due. Be very careful with billing this practice has issues with it.

His staff is beyond excellent, when you call you get a call back, if you need Dr. Rajani he calls you back. I have had back issues for the past year + and Dr. Rajani and his staff have been very helpful in finding different ways of dealing with this without resorting to surgery. If you want to have a family physician that really cares for you, one that has a staff that is responsive - this is the Doctor that you should go to.
