Let's be honest, if you need a towing service - you are in a bind! I was in that situation yesterday and let me be clear - this is in itself a very stressful experience. I had been out to Warren County and Hunterdon County and was heading back home (Somerset County). I was on Rt 31 to pickup Rt 78, and could not avoid a pothole. On top of a flat tire, the rim was bent! I have low profile tires and when I hit it, I knew I was in trouble. Drivers front, loud boom - just awful. Stayed off 78, and 31 took me to 22. It was late afternoon and I pulled into a service station who could not help me and suggested AAA. (I did not have it). BUT - I did decide to join AAA, bought the Plus, ($100) and called them. Unbeknownst to me, if you want to use AAA the same day, you have the pleasure of paying an additional $65 and $4 a mile! No Thank You. I called this service and initially, the gentleman on the phone said they did not have anyone available, and I explained that I really needed his help. He must have understood my pain because he said hold on, called a driver and told me it would be about an hour. The driver, Dave came and also gave me a ride home. The phone rang constantly with calls for service. These guys work and do not complain, they are courteous to people who are not courteous calling them! He also explained that my insurance (after asking who our carrier was) would cover the tow - and that I should reach out to the DOT for the repair. Excellent service, I would highly suggest calling these folks first if you are in need. You will not be disappointed and I cannot image what these negative reviews are about. read more

Mercedes roadside assistance came to my house to charge my car. The technician who came over to start my car said that it needed a new ignition. Mercedes roadside assistance sent Alec from Kovi Towing over to tow my car to the dealer. However, Alec had no trouble starting my car after giving it a charge. He saved me a lot of money as it wasn't a bad ignition, it was a bad technician! Thank you Alec, you rock!! read more

Great experience and service today. My minivan would not start and my I called my insurance company for roadside assistance. They said Kovi would arrive in about 30 minutes and 2 minutes later the driver called, confirmed where I was and said he would be there in 5 minutes. Coulton was very kind, looked over the van and had the vehicle on the flatbed in no time. He was also aware we were in a parking lot that was usually busy and moved the tow truck out of the way as soon as he could to not block anyone. Great service read more

There weren't any signs saying no parking or any towing signs. The only reason we found our cars is the old business card on the ground. We were stranded in our bathing suits with no cell service for hours. It would have been a 10.8 mile walk for 3hr 36min if we even knew how to get there. Our friend had to hitchhike back to the town. Also, there were several other people that were towed and stranded. Sounds like a scam to me. read more

Mike has the nastiest attitude. My insurance used their service a couple of days ago and I simply called for assistance as my car broke down again and these guys knew how to get it into neutral. Why do they have to be so rude?!? Ontop of car trouble you have to put up with someone scolding you and being disgustingly rude? no thank you! Tow truck companies think that because you need them in a desperate situation, that they can treat you like cramp- F em. Hire another company, I reported their behavior to my insurance and requested not to ever hire them on my families behalf. I called for a tow and was given a time estimate of 1.5 hours. After waiting 1.5 hours I called to request a new time estimate. The dispatcher (I assume that's who I spoke to) was very rude and told me he didn't want to come and get me to begin with. He stated it would be at least a few more hours, I called another tow truck company which arrives within 20min of my call. Approximately 1 hour later Kovi towing called me and asked if I still needed a tow as they were about 30 min away. I declined. Very rude and poor customer service. I would not recommend. read more

Kovi was used through my insurance company to change my flat tire at work. Within 15 minutes of putting in the request I got a call that the driver was at my work. Are you serious? Some people SHOULD not be in the service industry. When you come out to tow a car in the snow don't tell the customer: " that was not too smart" because they were stuck! I have never felt better or been more at ease with a tow service as I was with Kovi. After progressives roadside assistance sent me the confirmation text that Kovi towing would be picking up my car after it overheated the other night the driver, Dave, immediately called me to confirm address and let me know he was on his way. He was so quick and polite and also (as per my request) called me when he was close to my shop so I could talk him through where I wanted him to go and where I wanted the car etc then followed up by texting me the exact spot he left the vehicle and keys for me to tell my mechanic. On Saturday 10-17-2015 my car's power steering malfunctioned. I called for a tow and was informed that somewhere would be there within 60 minutes. When Justin arrived (early) I knew immediately I was in good hands. He made sure to safely get me into his truck before he began moving my car on the flatbed. He was very thorough making sure everything was securely fastened before we drove off. Once he got back into the truck I asked if it would be okay to stop somewhere so I could use the restroom, we had an hour trip to where the car was being dropped off at and I knew I couldn't make it an hour. Justin was so nice and immediately brought me to place to use the restroom. He was such a pleasure to deal with, very knowledgeable and funny!
