We were referred to kozy by several neighbors who were pleased with their services . Now that we have used them a few times i can see why. The kozy employees are very thorough when they mow and trim and they get the work done in a timely fashion. We have allot of land scaping , and ours is a difficult yard to groom, but so far this season it has looked fantastic. I have referred this company to some of my co-workers and friends and they have had good results with kozy as well. read more

"The owner Joe Kozol decided he underbid the yard cleanup. He bid $225. The next day he wanted $425 in cash from a single mother of two. After she paid the $225 and while she was at her full-time job, 2 employees threw and dumped dirt,debris & trash all over her sidewalk, stairs, driveway, lawn and street. We have it all on video and an eye witness account. We filed a police report as well. My husband and I switched from another lawn company to Kozy about two years ago and we couldn't be happier with their services. The prices are excellent, and are exactly as we were quoted, the staff is always friendly and professional, and the owner is an absolute gentleman. Yesterday when the Kozy team was out at our home mowing and trimming, our cat darted out of our home and toward the street. It was my fault for leaving the window open, but luckily, the owner (I don't remember his name) happened to be stopping by to check on his crew. He saw our cat heading for the street, and saved her from an oncoming car without a thought for his own safety, Tonight when I went to leave this review, I was disgusted to see that there are seven single star reviews on Yelp about this company, posted by obvious friends/acquaintances of another business or possibly an employee with an axe to grind. These people all mention some story of a customer who refused to pay her bill, and do not say they have been clients themselves- one reviewer is even in California. None of these people are active members of the Yelp community with their profiles displaying zero friends and 0-3 other reviews in the past year. They are very likely fake profiles created specifically for hurting this business. As an Elite Yelper, it always bothers me to see this platform hijacked and weaponized for targeting a business, and that is clearly what has happened here. Not one of the negative reviews here states they have experienced Kozy's services, and should be removed from this site. We are very thankful and appreciative for the actions of the owner of this company yesterday, the flawless services we have received over the past two years. We will continue to recommend Kozy Lawn Care to others, and to use them ourselves. read more

Worst decision I ever made was to call these guys for my lawn service. I calked for a power rake and fertilizer application. When they showed up on monday was obvious that one of the crew didn't have any idea what he was doing. I could not stay and watch because i had to go back to work. When i got home..found large areas of bare dirt where it was obvious the mower they used to clean up had hit the ground. I called and left a message with Joe the owner about my concern. Two days later he had not returned my call. When i called him got a song and dance but was told someone would be out to look at it. On Friday no call back no one had been out. I called again got more side stepping blaming weather etc. Finally a week later someone shows up --not owner but the original guy who did the work, to critic his own mistakes. After allot of attitude he put down some seed and drove off. After he left my neighbor's lawn service walked over and looked at the lawn. In his words "the guy that did this has no business running power mowers." do $135 later..i am hiring someone else to fix there mistakes. Lesson learned. read more

What can I say about this company but thank you thank you thank you. I first came in contact with them when I use their storage area when I got back from Colorado. They came highly recommended by our friends who lives here in Omaha and who does business with him a lot. So since I was in the neighborhood I went on stored my furniture with them for a couple of months and was very pleased with how everything went. I hadn't seen Joe K the owner of Kozy in a while but he gave me a bid to do some yard clean-up for fall at my parents home. I will say at this point the price was good and fair they came in got the job done and lesstime and my parents and I are very pleased. At first all was okay. But their mowers tore up the grass in my yard and they bumped a down spout and pulled the gutter away from the house. I complained and was told they would fix it, but they never did. Then came fall. I was paying $47 for cut and trim, then got a bill for 1 week of $132 and another for $105. Had no idea that was coming. Was told it was for the extra time it took to do clean up and haul away leaves and they were spending an extra hour and a half on my lawn. I was home most times when they were here and they were definitely not spending that much "extra" time. Cancelled immediately and would not recommend them. read more
