Took my $499 duvet insert for dry cleaning and received it back shrunk from 106x90 to 100x83. I know it shrunk because I measured it when I received it from the seller, and I know it was the fault of KP Cleaners because this was the first time I had it cleaned. It also smells strongly of laundry detergent, so I'm wondering if they didn't just wash and dry it instead of the required dry clean only. It now fits my king bed like a mattress topper would, instead of a comforter & I have to purchase a new one. In response to the owner's response- I appreciate your response. The inner filling of the duvet insert shrunk, making the entire sewn boarder shrink in, leaving the outer shell baggy on the filling. I measured from where the sewn boarder is, not the overhang of the shell. The picture included shows how the duvet insert boarders used to look- but now the boarder is sucked in with the shell hanging way over it. read more

Great service! Went the extra mile by rushing my dry cleaning, which I needed done in 2 days for an event. Jacket came out beautiful and smelling fresh and ready right on time. Price was agreed to beforehand, and when I picked up the price hadn't been changed. I would use again and would recommend! All negative reviews are very outdated on Yelp, since 2020 every review has been positive so give them a try! read more

I have been using a dry cleaner in Olympia since Pantorium Cleaners closed, as my husband had to travel to Olympia twice a month it wanted a problem. But, that recently changed and because of the convenience, I decided to try KP Cleaners here in Shelton. I have no idea what chemicals KP Cleaners are using as a dry cleaning solvent, but this week I picked up a a down comforter and blanket I dropped off for cleaning. The smell was terrible. Sickly sweet and overwhelming. I called to ask if they had been laundered in a triple dose of liquid Tide because the smell was so offensive. The response was they were dry cleaned and I was the first person to ever complain. I am hanging both up in a doorway to give them time for the fragrance/stink to dissipate before I can stand to have them on my bed. It's unpleasant just to walk by them. It's a shame Pantorium cleaners closed, as they were terrific. I will be driving to Olympia for dry cleaning from here on as inconvenient as it will be. read more

If you actually want your stuff returned, DO NOT USE THIS CLEANER! 15 years ago I dropped off a very expensive wool dress coat and they lost it. Being 20 years old at the time, I was disappointed but didn't know enough to do anything about it. Fast forward to 2017. My boyfriend's mother (who passed away a year ago) had given him a Pendleton Wool queen size blanket. It had a lot of sentimental value. Against my better judgement, I dropped it off at KP Cleaners and when I went to pick it up, they had tried to give me a Mexican Sarape blanket. I explained that it wasn't what I had dropped off. The clerk said he would look into it and call us. He didn't. So we went in. He said it was lost and he ordered us a "new" one. We have yet to see what the replacement will be and if it's acceptable. I'm very angry about this and will NEVER recommend this business to anyone. I wish I'd read other reviews before taking a SECOND chance on them. read more

READ THIS REVIEW!! I read the reviews about this horrible dry cleaners and the bait and switch price change they practice. BUT, it was the only cleaners left in Shelton. So, I went in with 3 shirts and asked the man (owner ) behind the counter how much it would be to clean my 3 shirts. He told me $2.75 each. So, I agreed. On Friday 10/2/15 I went in at 1:30 to pick up my shirts and the same man told me $15.14 for my 3 shirts. To sum this up... I refused to pay his jacked up price and he took my shirts and hung them back up. I went out to my car and counted the exact change out and carried it back into the cleaners and put $8.25 on the counter and took my shirts. The owner was in the back. I went to my car and he chased me (a woman) out and ripped my car door open screaming THIEF! I informed him that I left the payment on the counter. He reached in and PUNCHED me in the arm. It hurt. Many people in the area and my friend in the car witnessed him hitting me. I put my car in reverse and left. I contacted the police and they went to his dry cleaners 45 minutes later and he had locked the door and posted a note that he was closed. The police will pursue the assault charges against him when he returns. What kind of business owner punches a woman?? Over anything?? I suggest you do what I should have done and listen to the review on this place and STAY AWAY!! He is horrible and an abuser. I will go to Olympia for my cleaning from now on.... read more

First time that somebody has screwed up a transaction enough for me to register for Yelp so I can tell others to avoid. Last Saturday April, 4th I call this business and ask how much to clean and press my work shirts with light starch. I am told 2.25 each, frankly I haven't been using a cleaners for a while - I don't know if that is a good or bad price. It was what was quoted and I said I'd be right over. Upon arrival counted out the shirts and the lady that accepted them told me my 11 shirts with tax will be 29.80 (less than 30 is the number I would take to my grave) and they would be ready today (April 8th). today I walk in with 30.00 in my pocket to pay for the shirts and I am told the bill is 38.52, almost 10.00 more than I was quoted. I complained and the clerk indicated one shirt had to be hand pressed so it was 4.50. I told her that 2.25 x 10 + 4.50 doesn't make 38.52 even with tax. I was told I was misquoted; I told her that wasn't my fault and yet I wasn't going to get my shirts for anything less than 38.52. I used my credit card to recover my shirts and will be disputing the charge. Stay away... I noticed all too late they didn't have their prices posted. Hopefully the owners will read this and get some training for today's cashier in customer relations and put up a price list so their employees and customers have something to go by. read more

I am seeking a new dry cleaners as my old one in downtown Shelton has closed. All I wanted done was ironing of three blouses that had already been laundered. The counter person gladly took my items and I offered to pay in advance. He told me it would be $17 and change...just to press three normal blouses ?????????????? Worst customer service I've had in a long time. I have a pair of pants that is a little loose in the waist (fit perfectly otherwise) that I wanted to have taken in. Before I could explain wanted, I was told that I should just go buy new pants, because if he were to take them in he would have to do the whole length of the pants. I'm not a seamstress, but I can tell you it isn't necessary to do the whole length of the pant, nor will purchasing a new pair fix the fact that the waist will always be to big to get them to fit my legs correctly. read more
