They do good work, and some not so good work. Some of the staff are not informed or well versed on some of the different stone options available, and it can leave the customer feeling badly about themselves due to the staff sometimes making you feel badly about your stone choice. I have had several things done with them, and have had my share of problems (ring was returned back to me with a crooked head after giving it to them for repairs, stone falling out of setting shortly after receiving pendant back...etc.) but they have also done some work that I'm very happy with. All I know is I deal with them frequently and often feel embarrassed/ashamed when I'm walking up to their counter because the younger goldsmith will often give the older goldsmith a snicker and a look that conveys "oh, great, HER again". Keep in mind I am not a problem customer, simply someone who gets this particular goldsmith to do a lot of work for me. But I guess repeat, paying customers is not what they're in the market for. read more
