What I found disturbing was that when asked what I planned to do for flea and tick prevention I Tom's them that I used seresto collars. Obviously I knew about the collars and had bought them in the past. They applied a collar and when I looked at my receipt noticed I was charged almost double for what I can purchase anywhere. I came home and ordered a collar for my second dog from petco, delivered the same day. When I inquired I was tons these products are counterfeited on retail. Puppy needs to be spayed and when I inquired about fee I was told they'd prepare an estimate, I had to call to get it, I thought really high and who ever gave me the estimate, listed items like presentation, hydration and monitoring as if they were separate items. They are actually part of every surgery either for a pet or myself. It does seem that the envelop is being pushed in financial terms here. I sought other recommendations and was quoted almost half the fee for spaying. As a senior in this economy I have to be careful about how I spend my money, I have never denied my pets any care they. Needed including cancer and diabetes care. Expensive but I'd never deny any if my pets life saving care, As conveniently located I can not continue to deal with this facility.

In almost 55 years patronizing multiple veterinarians, none has come close to demonstrating the commitment to my dogs' well-being that West Hills continues to display. For example, Cassandra, who works in the front office, suggested an effective means to expedite the delivery of a second course of antibiotics because I was concerned that I might complete administering the first course prior to receiving them. The veterinarian prescribed these antibiotics during a follow-up phone call; this medication would normally have been shipped over the course of several days. Andy, an office manager volunteered to make the arrangements to have the expidited delivery. Faith, a veterinary assistant, was essential to my timely receipt of the medication. Leydes, in the front office, volunteered to complete and email a detailed written estimate for future procedures when I requested an oral summary.; moreover, she composed and emailed the estimate while I was on the phone with her. Furthermore, Leydes was kind and conscientious enough to immediately forward a second estimate when she was not satisfied with the accuracy of the first. Dr. Multani, the veterinarian who has diagnosed and performed multiple procedures on my dog, has followed up examinations immediately with extremely detailed results which she has patiently explained. She has also offered to contact other, unaffiliated practices to gather relevant information for diagnoses, and patiently answered a number of detailed questions during a follow-up consultation. In general, the staff at West Hills continues to demonstrate utmost commitment to the welfare of my dog and has exceeded my every expectation throughout each phase of my interactions with staff. Both my dog and I could not be in more capable and attentive hands.

His vital signs had slowed dangerously necessitating the cessation of his routine teeth cleaning. From that point onward every one of my dogs has gotten a cardiac workup prior to the scheduling of surgery with anesthesia to rule out any hidden cardiac issues which might endanger my dog's life during the use of anesthetic agents. On Dr. Blass' recommendations based on his exams, slight changes in pre-op meds and/or IV flow rates have been noted in his exam notes and forwarded to my regular veterinarian along with the routine findings on each dog's cardiac health, with recommendations for followup exams as needed. I totally recommend Dr. Blass for his brilliant and compassionate care. Do not hesitate to make an appointment with Dr. Blass.

From the moment I was introduced to her, she put me at ease and made an extremely stressful situation feel more manageable. She took amazing care of our dog Luna after fracturing her arm. I always knew I was in the best and most capable hands and am truly grateful to her for supporting Luna and our family. If you are looking for a veterinary surgeon, Dr. Kravitz is THE BEST! On a personal note, she is a very kind and caring person and we are so grateful to her. Additionally, Dr. Donato has been an integral part of Luna's treatments with acupuncture and chiropractic care - she is so caring and truly goes the extra mile. We have been working with her for years now, and she has always been wonderful with our furry friends. I have always been so appreciative of Gold Coast and all of their specialty doctors and physical therapists providing such amazing care for our furry friends - senior pets and puppies alike!

She never makes me feel rushed and always takes the time to answer everything. Her advice feels thoughtful and comes not only from her training but also from how she cares for her own dogs. You can tell she really cares and it's not just a job to her. She'll even go out of her way to suggest products or show me things that might help, which I really appreciate. What I value most is the trust I feel with her. I've had experiences with other vets where it seemed more about money, and that's never the case here. With Dr. DiGiovanni, it's clear it's about what's best for your pet. The rest of the team is just as great. From the front desk to the techs, everyone is so friendly and you can tell they really love animals. They even give you a little care package on your first visit, and there are free treats and coffee in the lobby which is such a nice touch. The place is aesthetically beautiful too. One thing to note, it is quite expensive - but you get what you pay for! Overall, I couldn't ask for a better place to take my pup.

Dr. Solomon referred his patrons to Huntington Village Animal Hospital which is at a different address. I took my two rescues to "Woodland" and found the building empty and under construction.
