We have hired KRB twice, once for a tv room remodel and once for a major kitchen remodel (actually most of the first floor), and would highly recommend them. They have all the staff necessary to: design and plan the remodel, get structural engineering plans, building permits, estimate costs, and then make the plan a reality. Any sub-contractors are fully supervised and corrected as necessary. For example, our countertop contractors were balking at how tight a radius some of the corners were planned to be, the owner of KRB got them to remove the countertops again and buy the right tooling to cut the planned corner radius. Kevin and Carrie and their entire team are the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! I am living in my dream home now that we have completed a full first floor remodel and remodel of all the bathrooms. From the first meeting to the last where they were taking pictures of the finished project, I enjoyed every interaction. I came with ideas and pictures torn from magazines, and together, we created something extraordinary! When people walk into my home, they say, "WOW!" and "I love the vibe of your home." Kevin's experience led the way with certain features like moving from my dream gas range to induction (which I love!), a super powerful vent that takes every cooking smell right out of the house, to a great last-minute idea for the mudroom/entryway that added another WOW factor to that room. Carrie was fantastic in helping me to pick tile, cabinets, and flooring and feel confident that it would all flow to create the ambiance I was going for - a coastal beach house vibe. She encouraged me to be bold with some tile choices when I was going to play it safe, and I'm so happy for her encouragement. The bolder tiles make my kitchen pop and really give it that extra wow. Kevin said my project would be 15 weeks, and it was 15 weeks. Kevin said my project total would be "X," and it was "X." I moved out for this remodel, so being on time and on budget was very important, and he was a man of his word on both counts. The KRB staff was also amazing! They had to come back to tweak things and help me learn about my new home, but no one ever said no. In fact, it was just the opposite. They came quickly and were eager to make sure I was happy. This was a major remodel, and I invested a lot of money, a lot could have gone wrong, but instead it all went right and even better!! When I decided to change my flooring once they ripped my home down to the studs, Kevin didn't panic. He wanted me to be happy and he and Carrie helped me find the flooring I wanted. Even with this last-minute change, it didn't set the project back from completion but for a couple of days because the flooring guy powered through for us. How many people can say they want to be friends with their contractor after a major project like this? Not too many, but I 100% want to be friends with Kevin and Carrie for years to come. In fact, we are already talking about our next project -an outdoor kitchen. If you are looking for a GREAT experience with people who genuinely care and do what they say with the highest of integrity, I highly recommend you stop in and meet the Roy's. I'm so glad I did. He combined our kitchen and living areas to create the most beautiful entertaining space. The vendors KRB works with are top-notch. We went with Harmoni cabinets and the workmanship is amazing. We are also pleased Kevin suggested the Galley workstation. It is so efficient and I can't imagine cooking/prepping food without it! We bought a house that needed a total remodel in July 2018, including multiple walls removed, new kitchen, 3 bathrooms, whole house interior painting, new wood floors throughout. Before we even closed, I wanted to get a full service company on board to do the work as quickly, and skillfully, as possible. I chose KRB because they were able to do everything from kitchen and bath design to full general contracting. I really liked their process, which is specified very clearly on their website. We worked together to come up with the design, full scope of the project, etc. We worked back and forth on our various options to try to balance budget and design options. Once we made final decisions, the budget was set and the only variations during or after construction were due to either a) design changes my husband and I wanted or b) a few rather minor scope changes because of unknowns once the walls were opened. The previous review indicating a 30% overage after construction seems disingenuous because the way KRB manages their projects and budget they won't even complete a single thing outside of your budget without you signing off on it. Literally. You know and agree on the cost before it is done. KRB was able to complete our rather large project in a rather short amount of time- 3 months from start of construction to finish! They had us in by Christmas. The communication during construction was excellent, as they assign a project manager who is in constant communication. The work they did is absolutely beautiful. They obviously have a real pride in workmanship. I can't rave enough about how beautiful our house is! You really can't go wrong in choosing KRB. read more

We did a complete kitchen and bath demo and remodel. As well as having a porch finished off and misc other whole house upgrades. Job started right on time and kept to schedule. Workers were on time and left the site cleaned up every night. Budget was pretty damn close to spot on. With the system they use use, you know what you're paying at all times. Changes and upgrades are easy and you know the costs up front. Excellent finance/project system. Kevin and his crew are a pleasure to work with and stand behind their work. Very dishonest people. We came to an agreement, they installed the kitchen without any issues, and then they charged us over 30% more than what they originally quoted us stating that they under bid the job. I told them to take everything back and leave, but my husband told me to just let it be. I am still furious. This is not the way to do business. read more

My wife and I recently purchased a new home (well, actually it's 18 years old) and we realized before the purchase that some "updating", which is a euphemism for total demolition, was necessary in the 3 bathrooms and the kitchen. (We are convinced that some of the bathroom fixtures came over on the Mayflower.) Anyway, we started looking through home stores, magazines and such to get ideas and determined pretty much what we had in mind for the "renovations". We determined a budget and started looking for a contractor that would do the entire job for us. We lost some sleep over this step as we had heard many times how difficult it sometimes was to find reliable contractors. We determined that we wanted 1 company to do the whole job; from planning to final clean up so we assembled a list of reputable companies nearby that offered this complete service. KRB Kitchen and Bath Remodeling Center was first on our list. It was well rated and close to our home. We quickly realized that our quest ended right there. We met with Kevin Roy, the owner, and he came to our home shortly thereafter. Soon after, we met 3 times in his company office/showroom, gave him our budget figures and things began very quickly to take shape. To say that Kevin is organized, to the point and that"knows his stuff" is an understatement. There was so much to choose from in so many shapes, colors and styles and sizes for tiles, cabinets, plumbing fixtures, countertops and so on but Kevin guided us through each category and we were able to make selections that we were excited about. He always kept our budget in mind and was exceedingly helpful in guiding us to excellent selections that met our needs, taste and our budget. What I thought was going to be a difficult and lengthy process was amazingly simple (other than a few yucky choices that my wife made which I had to "veto" (and I still bear the scars). We selected everything we needed, 1 room at a time and after our 3 sessions in the showroom, all was decided. Kevin was meticulous in tweaking out even the littlest details for us and not long after our decisions were made, everything was ordered and we were scheduled for the "big adventure". Our greatest fear was that life would be havoc as we had to remain in the home while the project was underway. This is where heaven opened up and the miracle occurred. Each stage was meticulously planned and scheduled and our ability to live comfortably in our home while floors and walls were being torn down around us was always of concern to the workers. This was no easy feat as our kitchen is basically the center of the home and to access the stairs to the basement, the front door (and the door from the garage as well) were smack in the middle of everything. The crew devised a plan providing pathways so that when the new tile was being put down, we could always get around it on the existing tile or new tile that had been already set and dried. It was a logistic miracle. There was always at least 1 fully functional bathroom so there were no problems with "that sort of thing". No time was wasted and there was never any downtime between jobs. We have never met a nicer and more competent group of plumbers, tilers, painters, electricians, countertop installers, general contractors or plasterers. We even bonded with the dumpster and Porta-Potty in the front yard: lovely shades of blue and green. The entire crew worked together flawlessly. I need to re-emphasize that there was no dead time between each part of the project. Someone was ALWAYS here working and often there were "several someones" working here. What a great bunch of guys and women! At the end of each day, we were given a "menu" of what would happen the following day so we knew what to expect. Things proceeded quickly and the project was soon completed. If there was a 1 to 10 grading scale for KRB Kitchen and Bath Remodeling with 10 being the best, I would have to rate them as a 72! Everything went RIGHT! There were no hassles, no "no-shows", no delays, the people were incredibly competent, courteous and friendly, the work was done right the first time, there were no "oh-oh" moments nor unexpected "surprises", and professionalism was apparent at every part of the project. I would like to express particular thanks to Rich, the man in charge on site who handled so much of the project and to Eric whose tile work was done with so much care. Bob, the Foreman deserves a big hand too for his efforts at making everything happen so well! Three very loud cheers for Trent and Kevin as well. Job well done! Are we happy, you ask? Absolutely! My only regret is that now, with everything looking so nice, I have to tackle all those little "honey do's" that I had a good excuse to postpone.
