I have a new obsession with their candles. I visited their store on Black Friday and I got some awesome Christmas Gifts. Two observations one for the grounds and one for the candles. First, the Kringle complex is beautifully land scraped with lush green lawns and multiple flower beds. Driving north on rt five the single story candle store is on the right while The Christmas Barn , The Farm Table Restaurant, and the Candy Cottage are on the left. All the buildings exteriors are well maintained and the interiors nicely decorated with elegant displays. The restaurant is popular and receives great reviews. The stores offer unique and wide assortment of goods including imported cashmere scarfs.. To me only the Candy Cottage which is described as having candy from around the world was a big disappointment ! The mostly prepackage assortments were only from a few countries including the US. Some candy bars were organic but I did not notice any European brands. Second, Kingle candles are white and about two thirds or more are in clear cylinder jars. The rest are are in color or fabric covered jars. To me they have created some different scents from Yankee candle while other scents seem similar with similar themed names. To me these similar scents seem to have a lighter or fainter scent than their Yankee counterparts which may be a relief or disappointment to some depending on one's preference. I prefer the stronger beach and summer scent in the Yankee line but like Three Kings scent from Kringle. Likewise, Kringle's prices seem a tad higher but fortunately they offer half price or greatly reduce priced candle on the second floor of The Christmas Barn. The store offers complimentary matches with your candle purchase. Unfortunately the store did not have gift boxes for those who prefer to wrap rather than gift bag a present. In closing some helpful tips. One, view the short Kringle video tours given by the owner on the web site or youtube before your visit. Two, have lunch at the restaurant. Three, if visiting all the all the buildings look both ways before crossing the street. read more

Candle heaven! So many unique scents. I get into trouble when I visit places like this because I want every new scent I smell. Kringle Candle was so nice, and huge! They have slightly bigger than votive candles for about $3 which was reasonable. Otherwise, the candles are super expensive. Moreso than Yankee Candles. They have a lot of rooms with various themes. I loved the Christmas room. They also have some unique candle holders. I ended up purchasing a neat metallic candle holder to put up as a wall decoration. Plenty of parking and very friendly staff who are ready to assist you. This is a place that if you love candles you will not be able to resist buying a few so be prepared to make a purchase - there's no just wandering around and checking it out if you love candles, trust me! read more

Nice place, great products (the way yankee candle used to be), and good service. It's always relaxing and inviting inside. However, it is a bit of a drive from Northampton/Amherst/Hadley area and not a place I visit often. Makes great gifts items though and worth visiting. read more

Went to their chocolate store (because I didn't like the candle one, and wasn't excited for the Christmas one) and wow, was I overly impressed? yes! AMAZING chocolate selection! From everywhere in the world, every kind, raw, vegan, low-glycemic, gourmet, you name it and they have it! Great store! read more

October 11th 2016. With the flowers still in bloom, the autumn pumpkins on display. We visited The Kringle Candle grounds and had lunch at the Farm Table. The sun was shining and the weather was picture perfect. It was just a wonderful setting and the staff were terrific! In regards to the lunch, the items I need to critique are the iron skillet Mac and Cheese. This item I found to be rather bland and I would not recommend it. The hot pudding cake desert for $12.00 was ridiculously over priced and was overly hot and quite small. The Cheeseburger and other items my wife had were delicious. The overall luncheon was fine. I love coming to Kringle Candle! So much to see and smell. I checked out the mens department and bought a bunch of bar stuff and also stopped across the street at the country barn for some old fashioned candy. If you are going to make the trip to Kringle I highly recommend going to The Farm Table restaurant also. Perfect day trip if you ask me. read more

Stopped in the Kringle Candle company store before going to lunch at The Farm Table restaurant across the street. I had never been here before and didn't know what to expect. Upon entering everything looked nice, and familiar as to looking like the way Yankee Candle merchandises their product. Small little rooms leading into each other in a maze-like way with themed sections based on scent. After about 20 minutes of browsing the 10,000 sq. ft store and smelling every candle that appealed to us we found ourselves back where we started with nothing in our basket. The candles scents were just not intriguing enough for us to buy. Most were overpowering and smelled fake with a strong perfume type smell. The prices, selection, and scents were not enough to make me every go back. This place just cannot compete with the 90,000 sq. footage of sheer awe and magnitude that encompasses Yankee Candle. So, have always been a fan of Yankee Candle and when my family in New England, ( Walpole, N.H.), took me to Kringle I was completely stoked to find a "Gentleman's Line". FINALLY! a candle company that understands men like a nice environment too! I have an issue with the Men's Line, because the scents aren't named, they are numbered. OK, cool concept. But short of squirreling away the lids from the candles, I don't remember if I like # 3 or was it # 12?. from order to order. The candle containers are very similar in color from scent to scent. SO, again, there was a sale! YAY!!! Caorolyn in customer service is charming! Corrected an over sight in a discount, ( The website, to order on line is bit wonky and slow, and easily leads to errors.). So ordered 2 of the "daylights" of each of the Men's Line. Daylights are the PERFECT size, larger than tea lights, smaller than the usual other size.. I have ordered from them before,( daylights), and some of the lids had come off in shipping. I managed to piece them back together correctly..remember, they aren't named, and a lot of them have similar scents. So I receive my new shipment today: I ordered 24 day lights; I received 24 tea lights, ( much smaller), and 90% of the lids had popped off in shipping. Great. I have been to the store....charming and folksy. Very Martha Stewart-esque. Hence, I love the concept and the product. But if you are going to do on line shipping, tape the darn ( and I edit here), lids on!!!! Maybe they don't want to grow, maybe they want to keep it all down home and folksy. Maybe they have an issue with shipping to San Francisco, who knows. I like the product, I like the concept, but has no one there ever worked in shipping? Has no one ever given them this feedback about their packaging? In short, the scented candle business is highly competitive, I recently was gifted a $38.00 candle in a lovely glass container.BUT, I want to support the concept of Kringle, and support a local business, ( local to my family), but somebody needs to have a double espresso, wake up, and grab the website and the shipping by the "wick"! Seriously. Otherwise, they will lose a hopefully, faithful customer. Update: I received an immediate call back from customer service and they re-shipped my original order and "comped" me the tea lights!( kind of "free gift with purchase"). If you love Yankee Candle and don't want to trip over hordes of children, come to Kringle. We prefer to visit right after Thanksgiving and Christmas when the candles are on sale. We tend to hit up the Farm Table restaurant for apps and drinks afterwards but I recommend calling ahead since their hours can be weird or they can be totally booked. read more

My new place to buy Candles. Mick has done well and learned well from his father Michael. These candles are awesome. I love the different scents. Love that they have candles for men that smell manly! Christmas tree shop is great spent an hour because there was so much to see in this store. Disappointed in the Chocolate shop..very expensive and not a lot of a selection. Loved their little café great sandwiches very friendly employees in all buildings. Have not tried the restaurant looked a little too expensive for my tastes but was not there to eat either! read more

I am a fan for life. Candles are well priced, scents are amazing in that I will have the candle lit my kitchen and the scent fills my first floor. The candles burn evenly and the customer services is beyond superb. I had a problem with one of the candles I purchased and they replaced it immediately. They care about their customers and go out of their way to make sure customers are happy. Oh, and did I mention the scents? Amazing. Try the "Rainy Day" candle....you'll love it. Kringle Candle has expanded to have multiple buildings on premise, selling everything from stuffed animals, chocolates, home decorations, and of course candles! Hailing from the Yankee Candle line, the Kringle Candle Company is just as well done, if not better. Honestly, it would be hard for me to say which candle company I enjoy more. The MA location we visited stocks a very homely, warm, and cozy shop, filled with the regular suspects - candles-a-plenty, Christmas trees, specialty goods, etc. There were so many candles that smelled good, it was very difficult to narrow it down to just a couple. One of my favorites would have to be the sunflower variety, although I'm not sure if it is around all year round. The shop itself feels like a cabin when you walk in, lending to a relaxing shopping experience. There are various showrooms with an upper and lower level featuring all types of candles and accessories. Further, if you think the showrooms are nice, you should venture into the bathrooms! On our visit, store traffic was very light which was a welcomed change from the accompanying Yankee Candle Village we ended up visiting later that day. read more

I'm glad I stopped to see this company. The candles are beautiful. I thought it was going to be a warehouse and therefore a discounted price. This is not the case. The complex of stores is full of lotions, candies, and foods. There was not a Christmas section as it was July. But, I expected one since one store had that in the outside. My boyfriend brought me here as a surprise on our way home from Quabbin yesterday. I had been saying for a while how I wanted to check it out. Much smaller than what I was expecting but that wasn't a bad thing. When we went to YC I was literally overwhelmed by the size of it. I'm glad I had a smaller area to cover so I could check everything out. I love the mens line of candles, shaving creams etc. I don't know if I didn't see them but if they make cologne to match each candle I'd be thrilled to be able to purchase one for my boyfriend! I like the simplicity of the white colored candles. We went across the street to the christmas shop which was super adorable. Love the basement with everything decorated. We didn't go upstairs to the toy shop but maybe next time. The chocolate store was neat too. I would've preferred a bigger space due to the large amount of people making it a bit too close for my comfort but a lot of cool chocolates in there! Overall a great experience. I'd love to come back and try the Farm Table. The menu looks awesome. read more

I went to Kringle Candle for the first time this past weekend (even though I grew up literally 13 miles away). I was pleasantly surprised! The interior is gorgeous and the layout is well designed. It feels very put together and what they have going for them (as opposed to Yankee Candle - of whom I'm a super fan) is that their samplers are encased in little plastic tubs so that you aren't overwhelmed by all the smells at once. No insta-headache here. My Mom was telling me how good the "Grey" candle smells (affectionately named after the infamous Christian Grey character). It does have a nice musky scent (ow ow) but I'm more of a citrus-scented candle lover myself. Their Lemon Rind candle is a fixture and a staple in my kitchen and I love the Hibiscus candle as well. One other thing I like is the section of giftables that are male-centered. I literally earmarked half a dozen things that my husband would easily enjoy receiving (travel bag, flasks, cool cocktail shakers, etc.) The cost is on par with Yankee Candle, but I found the laid back atmosphere of Kringle Candle to be a huge plus in their favor. read more
