As a wedding photographer, and after hearing advice from past brides, a good coordinator was at the very top of my list. The moment I met Krisanna, I knew she would make my dreams come true. I was chaotic and had no clear ideas, but I did have a few very hard requests: I wanted color, I wanted texture, and I wanted everything to be cohesive, all wrapped up in an intimate dinner party feel. I'm organized and coordinate events as part of my job so I figured we could absolutely figure it out ourselves. It wasn't until a few months into our wedding planning that I began to get overwhelmed and realized I probably couldn't coordinate it on my own and wasn't comfortable passing along tasks to my family members. We met with Krisanna and immediately noticed how kind, organized, and thoughtful she was. We hired her to be our Day-of-Coordinator. From the start, she was very thorough with explaining how she'd be helping us and what she needed us to do prior to the wedding. We met a month before the wedding and went over details I didn't even think of--day of schedules, who would clean up after, and who was providing sound equipment for us. She looked over our venue's contact and found important details that I had overlooked! Each time we met with her, I left with my fiancé and said, "I'm so thankful we hired her! How would we do this on our own?" We had an extra obstacle on the day of the wedding--our rooftop ceremony looked a little less likely as there was an 80% chance of heavy rain during the time we had scheduled (in July, go figure). Krisanna helped us weigh the options, come up with a backup plan, and remained calm during the whole process (me, on the other hand...) It rained the whole time, but Krisanna made sure our guests were covered and everything still went smoothly. She made sure all the events of the night took place on time and that everyone was where they needed to be. We hired Krisanna as a day of coordinator for our wedding. We knew we needed minimal help in the year leading up to the event and were going to be taking care of decor on our own. Hiring Krisanna was the best spent money of our entire wedding. Period. If you're doing a DIY wedding or having vendors do it all for you, Krisanna is the magician who will make it all come together, regardless of the scale. Her calm demeanor exudes confidence, experience, and masterful skills. For the 5 or so weeks before our wedding, Krisanna helped us with final arrangements, coordinating with vendors, and making sure that all the little pieces would be in place on our day. As the wedding approached we handed more and more of the weight we had been carrying over to Krisanna, who expertly balanced it all. She knew all the questions to ask, including many we had never thought to ask, and organized the countless details of our day into a beautiful event. We did all DIY decor, and Krisanna took on the responsibility of setting it out. We also had a Jewish wedding, which adds extra bells and whistles, and she welcomed the challenge and did just great! Krisanna's general experience with the industry helped us navigate vendor contracts, gratuities, and make other decisions in the weeks leading up to our wedding. I was so lucky to have been introduced to Krisanna early on in the wedding process. I knew after our first meeting with her that not only could she read my mind, but she was going to become a fast friend. The range of creative ideas and different elements that Krisanna has put into her projects is incredible, it was so fun to see the different ways invitations and day-of paper goods could be used, designed and styled. My now-husband came to our first coffee meeting and although he definitely got a little overwhelmed the sheer opinions in paper types, Krisanna was there to calmly guide us through the process. I had a vague idea of what I wanted. Being transplants form New England, and most of our guests traveling across country and then across the Cascades to get to our wedding, we wanted our guests to know from the invitation that they were heading somewhere beautiful and special. Krisanna had an incredible idea to emboss her hand-made drawing of the mountainous view from our wedding venue onto our invitation. To this day, it's probably the most beautiful piece of paper I have ever seen. It's delicate and different and beyond what I could have imagined for our invitation. Her invitation design captured everything I wanted our wedding to be. Almost 11 months later, I'm still obsessed. With the majority of our guests being from out of state, Krisanna helped us design welcome bags and cards that gave tips to our guests on fun things to do and see while they were in the area. For our day of paper-goods, Krisanna took elements from our invitation suite and sprinkled them throughout our day. These elegant little touches tied together our love for natural things, the mountains we were married in front of, and evergreens. In addition to the invitation, one element that I will forever treasure is our cocktail menu. We are the loving "parents" to a black lab and a crazy cat. Krisanna helped us to find a way to include them in our special day, by having signature cocktails named after them, and on the menu she hand-painted portraits of our beloved duo. It is these little touches that makes Krisanna such a talented and personable artist. Finding krisanna to work with during the wedding process was a true gift. She was incredibly nice, fun, supportive, and works incredibly hard. Her dedication to her stationary and design is apparent in the beautiful work that she creates. I couldn't recommend her enough, and if you have the pleasure to work with her, trust her. When my husband and I got engaged, we knew that hiring a wedding planner was a TOP priority. We both work full time jobs, wanted a 6-month engagement, and planned to have 200+ people at our wedding. Pulling it all off would have been extremely stressful and I had no intention of becoming a bridezilla... RAWR! :) Krisanna was 1 of 5 wedding planners we interviewed and she definitely stood out as someone who was well-organized, professional, but most of all personable. It was so easy to talk to her about more than just our wedding. She got to know us as a couple and has become a really great friend...which was huge blessing for us throughout the planning process. On the day of our wedding, I was literally, no joke, STRESS-FREE! Sure, I was anxious, but I truly enjoyed our wedding day and a lot of that credit can go to Krisanna. That morning she asked if I needed anything, so I went down a list of things I remembered and guess what? She had already taken care of everything (even the last minute changes we had)! Krisanna is probably one of the sweetest people you will ever meet, but she's no pushover by any means. We had a problem when one of our vendors overcharged us, but she stepped in, handled it like a boss, and made sure it was resolved to our satisfaction. In fact, I never even realized there were any issues until after we had our post-wedding debriefing meeting with her. So I knew I needed help on the day of the wedding and my goal was to try to keep my family/friends help to a minimum. I kind of stumbled upon Krisanna and decided to meet and she seemed excited about my wedding and totally on top of things so I decided I had my coordinator! We had several meetings in the months leading up until the wedding going over timelines and making sure I had the little details worked out and not forgotten but it was the final weeks leading up to the big day where I realized I had so much more than just the "day of" planner that I was hoping for. Krisanna made sure she was in contact with all of my other vendors, got them all on the same page and even found things in my final contracts that needed to be fixed/updated that I didn't even notice! I cannot put into words how much I recommend Krisanna Elizabeth! I had been following her on Instagram for about a year now and loved her design style. It is clear she is very talented, knowledgeable and passionate about what she does! I hired her to do the calligraphy design for some of the items at my wedding reception. I could not have been more thrilled with her! She was phenomenal to work with and so very talented. I emailed Krisanna just two weeks before my wedding date and I was amazed with what she could design and produce (with such quality!) in that amount of time. She was so gracious, friendly, helpful and quick to respond during the entire process. I emailed her just a couple of images of my design inspiration and she took it from there. She really went above and beyond to make the design feel very personal and specific to my wedding. She did the escort cards, the table numbers, name cards to display for my family legacy photos and custom designed a monogram crest for me. She was also very resourceful to find a company to make the custom crest into a wax seal for me in such a short notice. I got so many compliments from guests at my wedding on the design details that she did! I truly have her to thank for helping turn my dream into a reality. For those of you planning a wedding, I want you to know, hiring Krisanna as our day of coordinator was, hands down, the BEST money we spent on the entire wedding. When she showed up at our venue for the big day, she was like an angel walking in to rescue me from chaos. She took the reigns and I was able to relax.
