A few days after the wedding day, multiple guests as well as my family members informed us that our day of coordinator was rude, unprofessional and dismissive of them. There were multiple instances of people looking out for us and trying to help during the wedding day due to the coordinator's oversights. My wife's bridesmaid and MOH tried to open the veil for my wife, however they both were reprimanded by the coordinator to get in line and the coordinator stated that she would do it. She claims that she opened it up and the fan blew it closed when I turned the corner, but that is a blatant lie as the veil was already closed when my wife walked down the aisle as the coordinator never opened up her veil. Additionally, the fan was not strong at all, as evidenced on video footage. Another incidence, the seats were positioned improperly and not as a circular manner around the arbor. Katrina did not even remember that this was what was previously agreed on. The seats were also very lopsided on one side and were 2x the amount as the other side. When my brother-in-law notified Katrina, she did not even want to try to see if there was a way to improve it. She just said it's fine, and that the couple would not care and not to tell his sister. Katrina was very dismissive of our concerns. So my brother-in-law had to rely on the wedding venue person to help do her job. Unfortunately I did not know any of this was happening in the background because our wedding guests did not want to bother us so did not complain about the coordinator until we started to hear more complaints in the days after. Multiple individuals informed us of the coordinator Katrina's rude and curt demeanor when they asked her any questions or cared more than she did. Additionally, she was late for our initial meeting and was very disorganized. She also asked to take a bunch of our desserts home, which we let her, even though she didn't deserve it. We reached out to Katrina and tried to resolve these issues with her, but she was unwilling to, hence this lengthy review. Do not recommend working with her at all. Search elsewhere, unless you want someone unprofessional, disorganized, and untrustworthy. We truly regret having hired Katrina as our florist and coordinator. read more

I used Love Blooms for my wedding this past weekend and what a complete crap show. The level of professionalism from Katrina and her team was nonexistent. The communication I had with Katrina was appalling when it came to the rentals I needed for my wedding. I went the Friday before my wedding last week to pickup the items and not only were the items dirty, scratched, and not what the images online showed but my now husbands name was spelled incorrectly on our welcome sign. When I contacted Katrina about this, she said "Well this keeps getting better and so frustrating. My computer crashed and I had to have someone else make my prints and I'm so irritated by it all. You can take the Part of the n off and after and restick. And then I'm Going to find a hole to climb into and die". Like what?? Also, to add when she contacted me two days prior I discussed a gold mirror with a sticker decal and she sent me a proof of a silver mirror. When I asked her about it, the level of empathy was disgusting. Super accomodating and very communicative to any questions we had via phone and email. We rented columns for our wedding and they looked so beautiful. Each column was able to hold each vase of flowers and accented every column perfectly. When picking up and returning, it was quick and easy. Just stated they were picking up under our name and that was it. It is tucked away deep in Snoqualmie but they provide a picture of their warehouse just in case you get lost. Everything with love blooms was great up until the day of our wedding. To say we are majorly disappointed with the execution and how they handled the issues afterwards is an understatement. We ordered a champagne wall, gift sign /card box, seating chart and welcome sign. Everything was wrong minus the champagne wall, gift sign and card box. * Nothing is more emblematic of Love Blooms quality work or the penny pinching pettiness of their business owner (Katrina) than what happened with our welcome sign. The cost of the sign was $150 which was split out as $100 for the sign itself and $50 for the customization, the customization being to say our names. The sign listed the wrong name for the groom. When we asked for a refund for this, Katrina said that she would only give us a $50 refund for getting the name wrong but would not refund the sign itself because we "still received the sign" * Our Seating Chart was NOT what we ordered ( see below for what we ordered vs what we got). There was no customization of names in acrylic and we were NOT told beforehand in order to come up with a backup solution. Again, she made us pay for the sign and only refunded the customization. They printed out the names on pieces of paper ( not symmetrical) and taped it to the sign.The sign was embarrassing and again, I did not find out until they were setting up when I called this out that it was wrong. We only used it because there was no other way for people to know where their table was. o Despite filling out all forms correctly beforehand for a smooth delivery, the delivery man called me (the bride) multiple times while I was getting ready for my wedding ceremony and was having all sorts of issues trying to find the location (said he didn't have the address or parking info), which as mentioned had already been provided beforehand. Along with the appropriate number to call to my day of coordinator, adding undo stress to me. o During the call with the owner ( Katrina) after our wedding to apologize, she made out like she was the victim because of how much her employee screwed up and disclosed personal information attributing the cause of her mistakes as well as how the employee had been making other mistakes outside of the work on our wedding. o After much back and forth, she refused to give us the amount we requested as a refund ($200 more than what she was offering as we did not feel that we needed to pay for the signs that were completely wrong). She only agreed to give us the refund we wanted if we promised not tell anyone about this experience or write a review. The dessert table was beautifully done and I loved the backdrop for the actual dessert table itself. It was fitting for my black and white theme. Katrina and her team were amazing!!!!! I was on a fairly tight budget and Katrina was able to flawlessly showcase the perfect set of floral decor for the intimate wedding. I gave her inspiration photos and she executed perfectly. Our theme was white roses and white calla lilies (my favorite flowers) and the bouquets were stunning, the candles and votives provided the perfect ambiance and the arbor completed the look for the ceremony. My husband and I hired Love Blooms for our wedding in Seattle. We chose this florist because they were recommended to us by our reception venue and their reviews are mostly positive. Unfortunately, we are very disappointed in how things went and we will not be recommending their services to others. There are many talented florists in the Seattle area and our one regret is that we didn't hire someone else. - Bridal bouquet - I was honestly devastated when I arrived at the ceremony venue and saw the bouquet for the first time. I'll provide a photo so you can see just how drastic the difference is between what we were told we were getting and what we received. The photo of the bouquet I wanted was even copied on our contract. On 4/25/22, I emailed Katrina and asked how much it would cost to recreate a cascading bridal bouquet from a photo. The bouquet was made with white flowers and accented with long, green, curling vines (photo attached). She provided me with a quote to recreate the bouquet, which I agreed to. On 5/26/22, Katrina emailed to confirm which shape I wanted for the bouquet, saying: "Just want to make sure I make it exactly like you want:)". I re-shared the photo of the bridal bouquet and confirmed I wanted the cascading shape. The bouquet that I received was round, not cascading. The flowers were wilted, yellowed, and starting to brown in places. I'll admit it was a muggy day which may have contributed to the wilting, but the water they were potted with was green and filmy (visible in the photo I'll attach) which leads us to believe they were not well cared for and were in a poor state before they were delivered. There were three small vines dangling off one edge of the bouquet. But they were only a few inches in length, shriveled, wilting. We just cut them off. - Bridesmaid bouquets and boutonnieres - We requested 12 tightly packed white roses for each bridesmaid bouquet, plus a handful of boutonnieres. On 5/5/22, I sent Love Blooms a photo of how we wanted the bridesmaid bouquets to look (photo attached). Again, the flowers we received were yellowed, the potted water was green, and some of the petals were even starting to brown. I think all of the flowers came from the same place and they were just really bad off. We're surprised that Love Blooms didn't see any problem with using them. - Garland for the stairs - There was a staircase at the entrance to the ceremony. We asked Love Blooms to line the staircase with green garland and candles. On 5/18/22, we emailed Love Blooms with a link to our Pinterest inspiration board (which is something Katrina had previously requested). One of the collections is called "Florals - CITS Staircase". Inside the are 3 examples of staircases decorated lush, green, fluffy garland and candles. Later that day, Katrina responded to the email, acknowledging that she had received the link to the Pinterest board. We did not receive a garland. What we received instead appeared like loose leaves just thrown on the ground (photo attached). - Arbor - On 7/12/21, I emailed Katrina and asked how much it would cost to recreate an arbor from a photo. She provided me with a quote to recreate the arbor, which I agreed to. The product we received had substantially fewer flowers and the flowers were (again) yellowed. They were limp and a lot were dangling upside down. - Aisle flowers - We requested 10 aisle bouquets made with white hydrangeas. The hydrangeas we received looked sickly and had started browning, similar to the roses. - Hanging installations - We wanted to have hanging installations for our reception. We asked Love Blooms to recreate four of the 6-foot hanging wood hanging installations that we saw pictured on their websites. We were so excited that we even asked our lighting service to install extra spotlights to really emphasize the installations. What we received were barely more than sticks suspended on metal chain links. We got a lot of questions from guests and were honestly really embarrassed. We chose to hire and trust Love Blooms with our wedding because they're the experts, but they clearly dropped the ball. My husband and I spent over $8,000 on florals and asked for a partial refund for the things that didn't go as planned. We were willing to work with Katrina to find a solution that works for everyone, but she refused to even have a conversation about what happened. She just said that we got what we paid for (ouch) and she would try to learn from the experience. Some of the items, like the bridal bouquet, didn't even remotely resemble what we asked for. If Katrina couldn't recreate something, then she shouldn't have told us that she could. The complete lack of empathy and unwillingness to take responsibility is honestly the most upsetting part. I know from seeing other reviews that Love Blooms can be better than this. We simply will not be using Love Blooms again in the future for any events we have, nor will we recommend them to others. read more

I used thie Day of Coordination for my non-traditional wedding and boy am I glad. Amelia, one of the assisstants, was absolutely amazing. My ceremony decor and seating was stuck in a Uhaul and Amelia was able to make the situation work and made sure everything was able to run smoothly. She then made sure my reception set up was still done correctly even though decorations were delivered super late. She then made sure everything was packed up neatly for me to go home after the wedding without worrying about whether I forgot something or not. She was also firm and concise when talking with my slightly chaotic family members about schedule and things they needed to do. Thank you a million times over. I don't regret a single cent I paid for their services. read more

We hired Katrina's team for day-of-coordinator services. Katrina told us she stays "heavily involved" in the planning but as she is involved in many weddings, will assign a specific planner to physically be at the wedding. The services we got from Katrina herself were 1) A list of vendors she recommends and 2) a prettier version of the timeline that I made (as in, a nicer font). Her experience with day of planning was otherwise left to the other assigned planner who, while ernest and enthusiastic, felt inexperienced. The good: Our planner picked up all our wedding supplies from my home and set it up, although not necessarily in the most thoughtful ways. (e.g. setting up the favors at the entrance before the wedding even started). She also got ice in what was apparently the Ice Famine of the PNW (shortly after a record breaking heat wave). I was able to rent some decor directly from this vendor. The bad: One of the main purposes of hiring a coordinator was to have her keep us on track with the event's timeline This did not happen. - During our pre-event meeting, our planner said she would run through the ceremony quickly with us before it started since we had no wedding party and should have been straight forward. She did not. Our officiant therefore completely ignored the timeline and started the ceremony before anyone had walked down the aisle; no one flagged or stopped him. My husband and I missed half the ceremony. - Dinner was more than over (guests awkwardly twiddling their thumbs) while we waited for our champagne to be dispersed. Apparently the champagne had not been chilled. I had to excuse myself to hound our planner and caterer to find out what was going so we could move on with the events. - Our tea ceremony started a full hour late and therefore there was also no dancing. There's nothing nicer than having your planner and photographer run up to you exclaiming "We have to do the tea ceremony NOW. We only have 30 minutes left with the venue". - Our planner indicated she felt she could manage the clean-up at our final meeting but it later came to my attention that my sister and cousins did 90% of the packing up up rather than enjoying themselves as we had planned. If I'd known this would be an issues, I would have hired additional staff. Unrelated to timeline, our planner waited until I showed up at the venue the day of to tell me she hadn't been able to reach our caterer. I could have put them in touch if she had notified me earlier. She did not make sure our cake was packed logically. Our large two-tiered cake in a 2 inch deep box and put in the car. The cake fell over. We did not have any cake saved from the wedding which is such a shame. While these may seem like many small details they added up to over the course of the night and made things more stressful than necessary. I hired our planner to keep our timeline flowing smoothly and pay attention to details but they lacked in these services. Bottom line: 2.5 stars. Disappointing with lots of room for improvement. We rented a Chuppah for our July Wedding. Unfortunately it collapsed immediately after the ceremony even though it was set up properly and on even ground. The good news is that no one was hurt. The bad news is we spent 700 dollars on flowers to decorate the Chuppah and it went down ruining the flowers and picture taking ability. Love Blooms takes no responsibility for their unsafe rental, and hasn't bothered to acknowledge my email in over two weeks. Best advice if you need a Chuppah, build your own and avoid Love Blooms. We chose Love Blooms for all of our rental decorations and flowers and we loved everything they had! They have so many items in different styles and themes on their online catalog it was difficult to choose. All the floral products turned out so so good. We had our wedding during the summer (Aug. 2021) so they were pretty busy. Email correspondence took a little longer than I would have wanted and the whole experience didn't feel super personal (no one person dedicated to you and your needs). On the wedding day one thing in particular was missing, the place card holders for the seating arrangements. Luckily we improvised in that situation. Katrina was wonderful to work with and I would definitely recommend her. Planning a wedding during COVID was super stressful and a lot of wedding vendors were not conducting in person meetings. Relying on virtual meetings to select vendors is pretty stressful, but Katrina was an excellent pick. She did our florals on the day of including bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and altar arrangements. She also brought a lot of decor pieces and helped set up a very romantic, low lit ceremony space full of cool lighting, candles, and lanterns. Katrina did set up and tear down, which made the day of so much easier. We went on our honeymoon right after the wedding, so not having to worry about getting decorations back the next day was a relief. I hate to leave a bad review but I just want to say that I really like Katrina but she did drop the ball on a few things. The bouquet wasn't at all what I wanted which was a waterfall style and I payed 100$ just for my bouquet. So I knew I had to call her and say something because it really just had a lot of greenery and was slightly bigger than my bridesmaids. Also I had a maid and a matron of honor. I asked her to make 2 bouquets different from the rest and maybe tie some fabric or lace around the stems. But I didn't get that. I know that was a lot to ask but I was willing to pay extra. I would give her a 3 to start with because of that. However I am adding in a 4th star because within minutes she was at the hotel we were getting ready at and she even brought extra flowers I could use. This girl is dedicated. If she doesn't get it right she will not stop trying. I wonder if she was just busy that weekend because it was Memorial Day weekend? I know very little about floral arrangements and had only a vague idea of what I was looking for because my previously scheduled wedding dates (and bridal party attire) were for summer. Katrina was super helpful in brainstorming options with my during our initial consultation that would align with my vision, our existing aesthetic constraints, and budget. She was very responsive to the many changes I had as I quickly figured out our floral plan in a tight timeframe. Hiring Love Blooms as my florist was the only decision I REGRET making on my wedding day. Her team's execution of service is terrible. Pros: * Responds to emails quickly. * I liked her website and how you can easily see rentals and rent them affordably (Note: she does take some of the pictures from Pinterest, so what you see on her rentals page is not always the same quality of work) * As my wedding planning progressed, I made added more rentals/flowers to my contract and she was flexible and added them all. Cons- vendor execution: * Her team arrived in unprofessional attire and LATE. They forgot pieces to my canopy and had to drive to their shop for pickup. Setup was supposed to be done by 330pm according to the timeline we sent all vendors, but they were not done until 350pm. All my guests had to wait in the entry room. * Canopy was not secured. It was tilted to the side and during the ceremony the pole on the upper left (when looking at it) pulled out of the structure - which could have fallen on us during the ceremony. * They do not pay attention to detail. Due to the missing pieces they forgot, they had to rush through setup. They left their floral tools in clear sight on the left side of the piano right behind us. Cons-quality of products: * Ceremony candles - The large candles lining the aisles came in vases dirty and splattered with candle wax from another event. When my wedding coordinator spoke to her set up team about this and they told her "the wax will drip down the glass once [her] or the catering team lights the candles." Lighting the candles should not have been my caterer or coordinators task. Also, when the candles were setup 10 minutes before the ceremony is to start that does not give it enough time to heat up and "melt" the splattered candle wax from a previous event. * Boutonniere and Corsages My husband's boutonnière and mom's corsage broke. I personally took out the corsage from the plastic container and placed on my mom's wrist. She literally placed her hand down and it broke. * Cake Plate - The Cake plate was literally a geometric votive holder glued to a plate. In no way could it have held a cake, I wouldn't have even set a cupcake on it.  We requested a refund for the following (which we thought to be fair, but could not get consensus with Katrina on the Canopy/Chuppah.) $10 grooms bout - $10 Refund  $25 mothers corsage -$25 Refund $350 arbor - $350 Refund  $100 candles - $50 Refund $10 cake stand - $10 Refund A Refund of $475. Katrina from Love blooms said that because she had given us a pre-event discount she would only give us 10% back ($215 refund instead). It is not ethical or fair business practice to use a discount she gave us pre-event to make up for your poor service post event. I do not recommended hiring Love Blooms. Even when giving her the notice and opportunity to make amends, she was really stubborn in acknowledging that all these issues happened. I can be empathetic that things don't always go as planned, but the issues and mistakes this vendor created in the course of 2 hours and unwilling to make post-event reimbursement is not worth experiencing any of this on your wedding day. read more

We had an entirely horrible experience with Katrina and Love Blooms. I think the picture we uploaded of what she tried to pass off for our welcome sign compared to what was advertised on her website says it all. We'd recommend you stay away from this business as there are so many more reputable businesses to work with in Seattle. We coordinated with Katrina well in advance (2-3 months) of our wedding, and received messages from her up to the night before our pick up of what we wanted on our signage. Our guess is that she completely forgot about our order and tried to pass off the pictured sign as a last minute con. Not only was the sign completely below expectations, but there was also grease on the back. My daughter planned the perfect wedding. She hired all the vendors, she did the schedule, she did everything, including hiring a day of coordinator so that she wouldn't have to work with the vendors on her wedding day. But getting Katrina even slightly engaged was like pulling teeth. Katrina had the list of vendors with phone numbers and all she had to do was call them so they knew when and where to go. She was in charge of the day yet she didn't manage the caterer or the photographer so some important things just didn't happen. She even brought her young son to the day of wedding set up at a venue during early reveal pictures. Because Katrina didn't do her job, my daughter was getting calls on the way to the wedding from confused vendors. My daughter had to tell them what to do instead of focusing on the day. Katrina didn't even manage the reception well - no group family photos were called for, vendors didn't know exactly what was going on, she was rude to guests telling them to "just sit down and eat". She even told the groom's father before the wedding that he didn't really need his lapel flower when it broke even though there were lots more photos. She wouldn't even fix it, in spite of the fact that she was the florist. Worst of all she was rude to the bride and her family. Now for the good and the bad part that got mashed together. She was the florist for the wedding and the flowers were spectacular. Fresh, beautiful and lush arrangements. The venue looked amazing - however even that took work. Five days before the wedding she told us that some of our flowers weren't available (which were in plentiful supply at Pike's Market) and offered cheap alternatives that made my daughter really unhappy. After a couple of polite but forceful calls she did the right thing, but why did it take a couple of calls to make it happen. At the end of the reception she simply threw my daughters treasures into a box, damaging some of them, didn't bother packing up the champagne flutes and was gone before we got everything organized to leave. Some of our personal decor items are missing as well because they weren't organized properly by her. Though her floral arranging was great, if you factor in the fact that she didn't really do her work as a coordinator, she wasn't that great a deal. It ended up being the perfect day, no thanks to Katrina/LoveBlooms. Find someone who's nice, easy to work with and keeps their commitments instead of Katrina. read more

We used Love Blooms Wedding & Event Design after scouring the web for floral options. It turned out to be a smart choice. My wife had a very good idea of how she wanted all of the floral arrangements done at Thornewood Castle (in Lakewood, WA where we got married). The floral arrangements were amazing. The arbor decorations, which were right behind us in the ceremony looked absolutely stunning. They also decorated the inside fireplace where we cut our cake and had floral arrangements on every table. We had initially wanted flowers of the same height, but Katrina suggested making the arrangements of varying heights so that the guests could see each other and have conversations during the wedding. My wife was very particular about how she wanted the floral arrangements done and I knew this was going to be a big thing for her at our wedding. My flowers were more beautiful than I could've even imagined. They were exactly what I wanted. We had Katrina Allen of Love Blooms Wedding & Event Design as our florist and "day of" Wedding Coordinator, this past Saturday on 8.4.18 for our daughter's wedding. I cannot say enough about her services, as well as her as a person. The flowers were exquisite, totally got our money's worth. They were exactly as our daughter envisioned, and more. During the planning stages she was always timely with her email responses, which helped immensely in alleviating any building anxiety. This was the first clue we had that we had chosen our person perfectly. Katrina was warm, to the point, and totally professional. Fun when it was needed most (to lighten the mood), firm when she had to keep things moving along, and always kind. A great shoulder to lean on when we needed it, and made everything ok with her professional advice. I purchased florals and rentals from this vendor and was absolutely disappointed in the lack of quality, transparency, & how the owner runs her fraudulent business. Please save yourself from a total nightmare and do NOT use her services. If there is one thing I regret about my wedding, it's coming across this trash "business". I was a hands-off bride, I put all my trust in Katrina after our first meeting to discuss what I wanted. She did not disappoint, everything was beautiful and low hassle. She met with us on more than one occasion before the event, and was available by email, phone, and text. Her ideas were practical and dead-on; we saved time and money following her advice. She handled everything the day-of our wedding. She is exactly the kind of smart, talented, and fearless person you want in your corner on the biggest day of your life. I was a complete wreck going into the wedding - worried I would forget something or something would go awry - and Katrina put a stop to that immediately. She was on top of everything, at all times. And from day one up until our big day, she was always available and quick to answer my numerous emails, questions and text messages. I hired her for both flowers and my wedding planner. The flowers came out amazing. She put together a couple of floral arrangements that she had never done before - including a cake table and a floral table runner - and they were absolutely stunning. Our guests were taking pictures at the cake table throughout the evening. The bouquets, centerpieces ... everything was also beautiful. While I had hired Katrina as my day-of wedding planner, due to an unexpected family issue, she wasn't able to be the day-of coordinator. She let me know right away and quickly set up a meeting with Lori, which was very reassuring. However, Katrina continued to respond to all of my questions throughout the entire process. When it was the week of the wedding, Lori took over. She was a pro herself. She met with me a few days before the wedding and then during rehearsal. On the day of the wedding, she showed up early to my hotel room and picked everything up to start setting up the ballroom. Keep in mind that she also had the flowers, too. It was flawless. I showed up to the venue shortly before the ceremony began, and everything was perfect. With little guidance from me, she put everything where they should be, set up the decor, photos, cake table ... everything. And the evening went by very smoothly and seamlessly. She took charge, got everything moving according to schedule ... I never had to worry or question anything (and I am a bit controlling, to say the least). At the end of the night, she packed up all of our personal items and decor and delivered them back to my hotel room. She was just amazing. Both Katrina and Lori were wonderful to work with.
