Honest review: pretty good! Compared to all the hot chicken places popping up these days, Angry…read moreChickz is on par with Dave's in my opinion, but might I say: it could be even better than Dave's. Stopped in for a quick bite before heading up to the city to catch a Warriors game, and there were a handful of people dining in. This location took over the old Pieology, and there was plenty of seating. I really liked the Fremont-centered decor on the walls; that's one way to connect with the local community! Given it was an early dinner, the two of us shared a #1 which consisted of 2 sliders and fries, and we tacked on an additional side of Mac and cheese to try it out. Chicken was meaty, not too dry, and well-seasoned without overdoing it. The Mac was also pretty good, and the fries were also seasoned, but nothing too special. The food took longer than I expected to be prepared, but we were kind of pressed for time so on a regular day it wouldn't have been too big a deal.

Talk about poor customer service…read more Came in at around 2pm to pick up my order and some guy zipped right past me in front of the register while I was clearly waiting and the Indian/fijian young girl ignored me completely to talk to him about paying for sauce for a couple minutes to eventually give him one saying "this time I'll give it to you for free" just like other bad reviews below lol.. instead of addressing me as I was first and was literally waiting. I show her my order and she reaches over and grabs it confused, holds it while she has a conversation with her co worker and then just slides it across the table without saying a single word. If you don't like your job just quit. Food was mediocre this time and I don't think I'll be visiting this location again. Go to their other locations elsewhere.

Clearly you can see which food item was wrong. The angry fries was the only (medium) bowl.

Recently, I ate in person and the food came out piping hot. Service was great but also, I noticed the staff cleaning each table and the bathroom was also fairly clean. There was also a staff going around making sure everyone's orders were good. I thought that was great to see and enjoyed the spotless environment. Of course the main star is the food and it definitely lives up to the hype IMO. It's just classic chicken tenders and crinkle cut fries but when it's piping hot, it's super delicious and can't beat the good service too.

OK for fried chicken fingers but nothing exceptionally amazing…read more This location is definitely more focused on being a drive-through spot. If you're walking in, the entrance is almost hard to find. There's 2 separate entrances but the doors are single doors in black with no particular effort on the store's part to make the entrance look welcoming. Once you do make it inside though, it is a fun vibe with large disco balls overhead. Their chicken fingers is what's famous. I do think their breading is nice and manages to stay crispy even after bringing it back home to eat 15 minutes later. Flavor isn't particular special. Definitely needs Cane sauce. Fun fact, if you like their sauce, I heard you can order a whole cup's worth. The Texas toast is amazing though. It's a bit sweet, a bit salty from the butter, and it's toasted for a light crisp. Absolutely delicious. Recommend getting the toast with every purchase! The tea was surprisingly not as sweet as I expected. I usually have to mix my McD's sweet tea down with half unsweetened tea so I did that with my tea at Cane's and found it much less sweeter than I thought. Gonna go for full sweet tea next time.

Luckily, this restaurant is closer to our home than any other ones, I think it's only opened a year or 2, quite new. When it first opened, we could buy 8 piece legs and thighs for $12, but the sale is gone, and we had to use the App which does have many deals for family weekly. Last week we're craving for the chicken and got the 12 piece family for only $25 instead of $40 regular, it's a no brainer to go and take them home. When I got there, the nice lady behind the counter asked if we add 8 more pieces for $10, yes please. So, for $35 we got 20 pieces of legs and thighs (we don't like the dry breasts) and 3 large sides order: Mashed Potato, Corn, and Coleslaw. This restaurant is very clean, the servers are extremely pleasant, fast and helpful. The chicken flamed broiled perfectly, juicy and not dry as some other places. Flavorful and Yummy. The sides are extremely good too, everyone loves the mashed potato, it actually has chunks for potato in it and the gravy is plenty and perfectly mate with the potato. I like the corn and coleslaw, better than many other restaurants. It's inexpensive, tasty and the whole family enjoys healthy foods and the best is we don't have to wash the dishes. What else can you ask for?
