If you don't feel like cooking this is $13 & about 70g of protein. You could go to in n out, but it just doesn't hit the same.
A nightclub or disco that sells chicken sandwiches. What's not to love? Chicken sandwich and fries good - but service and hours make this an outstanding choice for late night. I was blown away how much cleaning was going on while I was there. These guys are hard workers - wiping and sweeping and making sure there was not one straw sleeve around. I've gone to sit down restaurants and the server wouldn't remove my straw sleeve for the entire duration of my visit... Its not that it matters - the little details - but if you are a server at a decent restaurant there should be some pride in the place. I don't expect a silver plated crumb sweeper but I do like a little attention to details. So much nicer than the crowded in n out next door. The people here were all young from the university - its great they have these new options just down the hill. If I could I would have liked the music a little more quiet - especially near closing time. I know certain bars and night clubs have more quiet music in the daytime and louder after hours but I think the reverse would be in order here. Oooops am I sounding like a grumpy old man? Ha, ha. Excellent choice for late night especially if you are CSUEB student.

Honestly, it's not too bad. The parking is kinda bad because people don't understand how stop signs and flow of traffic work. Other than that, it's a good location. The kids working there are pretty cool and legit provide really good customer service which was refreshing. They hit all the marks, they ask you if you're good. That's more than enough. The food is good. It's consistent chicken and obviously the sauce smacks. I would come here again if someone wanted to.
When visiting family in Hayward, a convenient location! It's a relatively new spot, still kept tidy and clean. Very welcoming staff right when you get through the door. But we didn't stay to dine-in, just picked up an online order. We were a little early for our noon pickup time and one of the cashiers came over to check if we needed help - excellent customer service! Sure enough, our order had just been assembled. We've been lucky to have their well-executed chicken tenders and sides (toast and fries best enjoyed when hot!) in 3 states and the quality and taste are consistent and delicious. As long as they keep cooking up the tenders, we'll keep coming!
I heard about this location and finally had a chance to visit. I went through the drive thru. It wasnt a long line. Waiting to get the food was a bit long. I ordered a caniac and the box combo. I asked for the cane sauce to be subbed with the honey mustard and they charged me for an extra sauce. I also feel like some of the chicken couldve been cooked a little longer because it was soggy The bread was good, they have the best fast food bread. The fries were fresh. I would give them another try.
This Cane's location was on point! Came after a concert around 11pm and the line had about 10 cars in line. It moved pretty quickly and we prob only waited about 10 mins from ordering to receiving our food. The food was delicious! The chicken tender pieces were big, way bigger than the San Jose location. I was genuinely surprised. The fries were also not overly salty which I liked! It could've used a little bit more salt but it was already a step-up from San Jose since imo they oversalt their fries. Great late night option and In-n-out is Nextdoor which makes this location the best of both worlds. Would visit again if in the area!
My oh my this location is a bit on the newer side since the last time I was in Hayward and it is efficient. You drive in and there is 2 lines. No merging, no determine who goes first, 2 separate lines, finally a place gets it! You place your order and if you are in the far right lane your order is hand delivered to you by employees, otherwise if you are in the other lane you can drive right up to the window. It was quicker than I expected considering the amount of cars at this location. It was this location that we learned you can customize your order. The price was a little bit steaper than what we paid at another location, but my son was hooked. The chicken was just as tasty and juicy as he had a couple days prior at a other location. It is no wonder this place was very busy on a Saturday night. Didn't make it inside so I can not attest to the interior. Staff was quick and friendly considering how busy they were.

Had a great experience at the Raising Cane's in Hayward! The service was fast and friendly, and their two-lane split drive-thru made everything move super smoothly. We were in and out quicker than expected, which is always a plus. My only hang-up with Cane's overall (and this goes for other locations I've tried--Stockton and Los Angeles included) is the price of the meals compared to the portion of fries. The food quality is consistently good, but the quantity feels a little lackluster for what you pay. Yes, Dad and I even split the kids' meal fries, and it still doesn't make up for the $16+ price tag--and honestly, the pictures speak for themselves. For my sensory-friendly parents out there--whether it's for your kids or yourselves--the fries are crinkle-cut. My son isn't a fan of that texture, so just something to keep in mind. Overall, the Hayward location provided a solid and pleasant visit with great service.

I eventually went inside to check on my order and found it sitting on the mobile pickup shelf, where it had likely been for quite some time. This completely defeats the purpose of offering curbside pickup if customers still have to come inside to retrieve their orders. If curbside service cannot be properly supported, it would be better to remove this option from the website to avoid misleading customers and unnecessary wait times.
I've been to this location a few times and I actually thoroughly like it. Their pick up is usually seamless and they get my order correct which is nice. Recently, I ate in person and the food came out piping hot. Service was great but also, I noticed the staff cleaning each table and the bathroom was also fairly clean. There was also a staff going around making sure everyone's orders were good. I thought that was great to see and enjoyed the spotless environment. Of course the main star is the food and it definitely lives up to the hype IMO. It's just classic chicken tenders and crinkle cut fries but when it's piping hot, it's super delicious and can't beat the good service too. read more

I will never eat here again. I live close to the area so I was excited when they opened this location. I went a few times when it first opened but was on the way to a concert recently when I figured I would stop here. I needed to use the restroom so I went inside to see about seven people behind the counter. The bathrooms were completely filthy and disgusting I didn't even want to eat. My friend was already waiting in line at the drive thru by the time I got back to the car. The guy with the piercings all over his face was extremely rude and didn't even get the correct order. By the time we left and opened the food there was multiple pieces of hair baked into my chicken. Both plates had hair all over the chicken and breading. Between the establishment being gross, the horrible customer service and the hair cooked into this food do not eat here. Save your money out go to in n out next door. read more

So I've seen this chain of fast food being hyped by people. I decided to stop by and see what it was all about. I just left the restaurant and It was a good experience. I enjoyed the ambience, well lit and simple but functional decor. The service was pretty good, everyone was nice and friendly. With that said, back to the food. I have to use a reference point to compare these chicken tenders to other fried chicken I've had in the past. So the scale to compare to is my top of the list place for fried chicken. And that is Plaza Inn at Disney Land in Anaheim California. Which is the best fried chicken I've ever had. So the tenders here at Raising Cane's is good. It's not greasy, it's not overly salty and its tender and juicy. So it's a winner. I got The Box deal. Paid approximately $15.50 with tax. Comes with 4 tenders, fries, a slice of bread, a drink and coleslaw. Overall, I give the chicken a 7/10. It was pretty good. So where did the 7/10 come from. It comes from taste, and value. I feel $15.50 for the meal is too much. A bit on the pricy side. I believe a fair price would be $12- $13 max. That would give it a fair value. But as it, it's on the expensive side. After all it's chicken ( chicken is a cheaper meat ). Will I return? Maybe. But not often. The value to me isn't there. It's a just good but it's not great. That is my assessment. read more
I had lunch here with my family today. The menu is basic, but simple is sometimes better. I tried to enter through the exit. Lol. The signs that were around a year ago are gone now. The hours are great: Sun-Wed 9 a.m.-2 a.m.; Thur-Sat 9 a.m.-3:30 a.m. Our cashier was friendly, but too thorough for my taste. Ordering was somewhat of a hassle. The drive-thru has 2 lanes. Cane's Gear: The merch is cool and is "updated with new collections that change regularly." "Fried chicken for Simon!": We only had to wait about 5 minutes for our order. Names are called so loudly that you're probably deaf if you don't hear your name. There's some seating outside, but the seating capacity is only about 50. We almost didn't get a table. 2 staff members were diligent in terms of cleaning tables. Trays and food baskets were also collected promptly (at one point, some customers brought a woman their items directly). I was annoyed with the two fans. It was kind of cold inside, and I felt a little rushed to eat (it was like my food was being cooled off). I enjoyed the songs that were played (ex: "Youngblood" by 5 Seconds of Summer). They were noticeable, but at a respectable volume. The restrooms are down the hallway that's on the right. My wife had unsweetened iced tea (she liked it). There are at least 3 types of tea to choose from. The kids somehow love this place so we come here after their basketball games often. The chicken finger is not bad: it is moist and tender. People agree that their dipper sauce (given on the side) is the best part. The fries and Cole slaw and bread is just meh. The service speed is ok. Every time I go to any Raising Cane's location, I am waiting 30 minutes or more, even sometimes an hour. The last time I went to a Raising Cane's was the Oakland location and only drive through was available. Oh my goodness, that took forever. I was in Hayward and decided to check out Raising Cane's because I haven't had it for more than 1.5 years which is when I went to the Oakland location. There's a new location opening up in San Jose and I cannot wait for it. I ordered the three chicken finger combo which includes the three chicken fingers, fries, toast and a fountain drink. There were only three customers in the store so I didn't really have to wait that long. I got my order and it was piping hot. I enjoyed the chicken fingers and also the toast. The chicken fingers were hot and crispy and I love the Raising Cane's sauce. The fries were hot but quite soggy. I wish they were much crispier like the crinkle cut fries at Shake Shack. Overall, I would probably get the chicken fingers only unless they can make their fries a bit more crispier. A lot of parking available and also the restaurant is very clean. read more

why can't this location ever get anything right? yea i could go somewhere else but i chose to come here. unbelievable and unacceptable. retrain this store or shut it down. this location never fails to disappoint. can't even get my order right and when you contact customer service they tell you "it's the dashers fault" as if they're the ones packing the order. be fknfr. read more

First time trying the chain. I've avoided the Oakland one (though nearer to me) because their dining room had been closed due to all the car break-ins in the area. (Not sure about the situation now.) I orderedTthe Box Combo which had 4 chicken fingers, one Cane's sauce, a Texas Toast, coleslaw, fries and a fountain drink. The first finger was dry and left me unimpressed. Thankfully, the second one, which was a lot lighter in color, most likely because it was fried less, was visually less appealing, but much more appealing taste-wise. That piece essentially redeemed my ratings for Raising Cane's. As a whole, I thought the fingers were tasty but smallish. Enough for a lunch meal, but not enough for dinner time. The sauce was a little unique. It was like typical orange fast food special sauce but very peppery with more character. I wouldn't be surprised if the sauce itself was a draw. I heard that the Texas Toast was supposed be good, but mine was not toasty at all-- just soft and unappealing--dinner bun-like. The fries were a nice surprise. They were crinkle cut but almost McDonald's shoestring size. Usually crinkle cut are the mouthful steak fries size. The coleslaw was fresh and refreshingly not overly sweet. The service was quick and efficient. The staff was on the move either cooking, taking orders or cleaning up the dining room. They seemed quick and eager to work. This location has good food but it is very small inside. There definitely could be more seating for indoor dining. Their chicken tenders are cooked perfectly and of course their canes sauce is always good. We got their "caniac combo" and a kids meal for my son. The fries are good and not salty compared to other locations I've been too. You definitely need to try their coleslaw, it's very good (a bit small of a portion for a caniac combo though). I'd definitely be back but maybe not on a weekend. read more

So, I was in a rush and needed a nearby drive-thru and got lucky with this one. I had the Chicken Sandwich combo with the crinkle fries and a Coke Zero. That sandwich was hot and juicy. I ate it it easily while driving. I actually finished the fries too. So good. I'm not a big fast food person but this was good. There's girl took my order outside at the drive-thru and she was really nice. It was fast and efficient! I will probably go back, especially after a few drinks. Lol. read more

Its not to see overall how this location has so many different stores it came a long way. I moved away and came to visit and was pleasantly surprised by how cute it looks in there. The service was ok they got our order wrong but whatever i love Raisin Canes so more food i guess lol. I love how they also offered a St. Patrick's day drink that made the experience fun! read more
There are 2 drive through lanes, friendly staff. Just ordered the 25 fingers for $45.45. It comes in a small party tray with 8 sauces. It came with exactly 25 pieces. But tell me why some pieces are TINY as heck. They should give you more pieces to make up for the smaller pieces. I'm glad they opened this location in Hayward but it's just crazy to pay $1.81 for a small piece of fried chicken. read more

I'm a fan of Raising Cane's. Lol.. That sauce is everything! I still remember when I was subbing at a school in Oakland, and this one little girl had a drink cup full of sauce. It was nuts. Haha but yes, the sauce makes it all so yummy. I've been to this location twice so far. The food is hot and yummy. The place is clean. The staff is friendly. There's plenty of parking. No complaints at all. I would definitely come here again the next time I'm craving Raising Cane's. :) read more
It was my first time at this location. This is a new location in East Bay. I came on a Saturday afternoon and it was crowded inside and out. I liked how there was lots of seating outside with overhead covering along with small tables and umbrellas. We got our food pretty quickly and it was served hot. The chicken was better than the last time I had it and the fries were pretty crispy/good. I shared the Caniac meal which comes with 6 chicken, fries, and toast. It comes with coleslaw but we subbed slaw for another toast. Perfect size!! read more
