Good ol Krispy Kreme, can you ever go wrong with a visit here? Well, I usually pop in occasionally for a classic glazed donut. This week I stopped in specifically for the Harry Potter themed donuts. There weren't that many left by the time I got there, but luckily the Gryffindor was still available. It was delicious! I usually am a little iffy about cookie butter as that was the filling, but it actually tasted great. The staff as always was sweet. I did notice in this visit, that they have outlets , which will be great to have a treat while you get some work done moving forward. What's not to love about Krispy Kreme? The coffee is excellent, and the people serving it are friendly and have a great attitude. And the donuts, oh my, the donuts when that red sign is on and says hot donuts--it doesn't get much better than that. If you're staying in the midtown area, it's a short walk down the hill to Krispy Kreme and well worth it. It's a great way to start your morning. I have no idea how to describe our experience at Krispy Kreme. The doughnuts are always a hit but my heart cried out to the staff. Ms Mary and Ms Wright showed us kindness despite being overworked that day and scheduled to leave about an hour and half ago prior to us entering. They were doing a shift change and no staff was there. I am hoping EE can get back to a place were employees who go above and beyond can be appreciated and us as customers can leave an establishment with a great experience. Horribly rude service. The girl working the drive through should be fired because she is rude and also kept our change which was over $15. Hopefully, she will use my change and spend it on some etiquette school! I've never had someone speak so rudely to me and my family. There's few things more satisfying than watching the donuts work their way down the conveyor belt, cooking in the oil, getting flipped, cooking a like longer, then watching the glaze pour over the donuts, gently coating every bit of the surface. I ordered an iced mocha. It was quickly and correctly prepared, but I was surprised at the tiny size of the medium. I'm not sure that I actually received the correct size. I should have asked, but didn't bother. Unfortunately, this location, resurrected after 2 fires burned this location to the ground, isn't the greatest. At 7pm Saturday the restaurant is filthy. The staff was curt, although they were efficient. There was little care for orders placed online or through the kiosk, which thankfully wasn't ours. We stood in line. We were able to watch the donuts cook and move straight into boxes then to the cashier to hand to waiting customers. This whole process brings back some familiar nostalgic feelings, remembering when I did this with my dad, whole going to work with him on weekends growing up. The donuts obviously are always perfect. I did not realize the Ponce location was back up and running since around September 2023. I happen to drive by attending an evening at the Fox. It is so good to see this shop open, as I have many happy memories beginning in the early 90's as a college student. I picked up two dozen, an original and an assorted dozen, as I had a coupon from my Krispy Kreme app for a dozen for $1. So now I have a dozen to share! These donuts make me happy! My hack is to freeze the dozen after I eat one, then slowly over a month eat them. I either heat them and eat, or I eat them frozen, which makes them more dense, but it gives me longer to enjoy. They have their drive thru, but I enjoy going inside to watch the donuts being made! read more

On my way to get my tires rotated I stopped to get a dozen for the shop crew. Toe drive thru was quite long so I went inside to place my order. I haven't been to KK since they reopened and was pleasantly surprised. Upon entering I saw a kiosk where I could order so I did to. It was a pretty quick process. While I waited for my order Mary let me know that I'm the future to come to her to place my order. There had not been a line when I came in only one person ordering. How this location has any good reviews is really beyond my comprehension. There are so many things that are suspiciously bad about going there. The iced coffee is just wrong. The only way to describe it is your 5th cup of coffee from using the same K cup over and over. it tastes like dish water with the residuals of coffee. Obviously, a Krispy Kreme doughnuts are delicious. So it gets two stars just for that. But if you're expecting an employee to acknowledge your existence, if you're coming in from anything, but the drive-through good luck. I have stood at the counter for like over 10 minutes at times and not a single person has acknowledged I'm there and that's with an empty building. Seriously, I could be the only person in there and I have to do the cancan for them to notice that I'm trying to get some service. If you need some donuts, I would recommend going through the drive-through because it seems like the only way they will serve you quickly. But inevitably you'll have to order at the first window because they have a hard time hearing you with their intercom system. There is something charming about how bad they are. Great new rebuilt of Krispy Kreme since the last burn down- more spacious parking and drive-thru. I came into to get Strawberry glazed donuts and while waiting, I saw a worker spraying the floor down and the backsplash going into the donut push carts. So the donuts on the lower level trays are getting dirty water from the ground into the donuts you're eating. How is that sanitary?! What else are they doing that's in health code violation? We got here 10 minutes before closing. With a late night sweet tooth, I was expecting hard mediocre doughnuts but to my surprise, they were SOFT!! It wasn't hot, but definitely soft and edible. So good I forgot to take decent quality pictures, lolol! I ordered 6 assorted doughnuts with 3 glaze and 3 variety. I got raspberry filled, chocolate sprinkles, and cream filled. I was so sad when this burned down,but I'm glad to see it returned. To me, the older one displayed the cooking process better. This one seems to hide it part of it. The customer service, however, is terrible. Don't get me wrong,they are really nice. I ordered fresh doughnuts. However, by the time I got to pay for them,she asked if I wanted to exchange them for fresh hot ones. Sadly, like most businesses nowadays, they are more drive-thru focused. RIP to this Atlanta institution. Two fires later - are y'all ever coming back. Articles claim that they are planning on rebuilding the iconic Krispy Kreme, as of July 2021. I've seen drive through lines round the building many a time over the years and have rarely ventured in other than a quick stop in the drive thru. My last visit was at the December 30th, 2020, right before the first fire in early February 2021. We didn't get dessert with dinner and on the way home drove past Krispy Kreme's hot sign, so obviously we made a pit stop. There was no line inside or outside, but we decided it was easier to pop in and pick up hot original glazed donuts there. They were the perfect way to end the evening. While I don't eat Krispy Kreme often, it still felt like a piece of Atlanta is missing without it. Hope it gets rebuilt soon! read more

Never to disappoint Krispy Kreme is the king of all donuts, as far as this patron is concerned. Being an Atlanta native, it was great to see and visit this location since the fire demolished the original building. The drive-thru queue moves relatively fast, and the staff are friendly. And to top it off, you get a hot glazed that melts in your mouth... You just can't beat that! read more

Expect to spend at least 20 minutes in the drive-thru, only to sometimes end up with cold glazed donuts. When the donuts are fresh and hot, they're incredible--but it's a gamble every time. Today, I had one of the most diverse experiences that I've ever had in my life. I had the urge to get some eclairs. I searched and searched knowing that I could not fall off the wagon without getting me some fresh eclairs today. My first stop was at Dunkin' on Cascade. They did not have any. I left Dunkin and traveled to the Krispy Kreme at 633 Evans Drive. When I first walked into the store, I saw a young lady (cashier) rearranging some bottles of beverages in the cooler. I stood there, waited patiently and watched her for a few minutes. She finally turned around and asked me what did I want? I had my mask on as I answered and she said that she was unable to hear me with my mask on. I lowered my mask and told her that I wanted some help. She asked me are you ready? This redundant conversation went on for a few times with the same answer! So she was just so indignant about my request for service, that I decided I didn't need to spend my money at this Krispy Kreme. I traveled across town to Krispy Kreme at 295 Ponce De Leon. When my wife and I walked into the restaurant we were met by a wonderful lady, Miss Mary. She greeted me so friendly and welcoming! Take your time look around. I'm here to help you! WOW! Was cruising by and saw that the HOT sign was on. Quickly pulled in and ordered a couple of doughnuts. No line when we went (around 6pm) as the place was mostly empty. The cashier was able to get me an original doughnut that was freshly made. It was fluffy, warm, and delicious!!! This location is pretty big with a good amount of seating. You can see the doughnuts being made from the seating area. The place is very clean and staff was friendly. They also had a large variety of doughnuts available. Still craving some fresh krispy kreme doughnuts and will definitely go back on my next trip to Atlanta. read more

So my last visit at this location was not the best but I don't want to be that person that leaves a horrible review based on one bad experience. This is my go to KK, usually it's clean, friendly service and everything I order tastes pretty good. I guess the staff was having an off day because the employees were delayed with my order, forgot my coffe and just seemed a little odd. First i placed an order for a pumpkin spice latte and pumpkin doughnut but was told they didn't have any. The only reason I decided to place that order was due to a large advertisement sign on their window. Please take time to update your marketing posters. So next I thought why not treat the fam to a holiday dozen mix (they looked so cute in the order board, especially the ugly sweater). I had a 30 minute drive home so also needed some caffeine so ordered a caramel latte. So the coffee was horrible... there was no hint of caramel and it was undrinkable. Lesson learned, just stick to the doughnuts. Also, when I arrive home I open the box to discover my order was incorrect, no holiday dozen that i just paid extra for. Lesson learned, check your order before you drive off. This is why I'm giving this location 4 stars instead of 2. *the doughnuts were still tasty although the order was incorrect and there was a dozen, lol.. *i called and spoke to a manager and he was apologetic and didn't give me a hard time or make excuses.... thank you. This was my first time visiting this location since the remodel. The place looks amazing and the service was up to standard. During my visit, as i waited for my order to be packed; there happened to be a customer, in line behind me, who was being a bit difficult from the moment she walked in. Kudos, to the young associate and DeAndre who did everything they could to help the customer better understand menu pricing while trying to keep her satisfied. Before exiting, i had to make a point to verbally let DeAndre know, i thought he did an impecable job maintaining his professionalism while dealing with this melenated "Karen". Krispy Kreme used to be the King of the Donut World! It has been some time since I ventured into one of their stores, so this was a blast from the past treat for us on a Sunday morning. This location is smack downtown off Ponce, and boasts free parking (yeah, free parking and downtown are not normally synonymous). It is limited on parking spots. I had most of the cast in tow with me (King Carlos, Princess Catalina and two Knights - Medieval Times), and we were trying to find a coffee stop before the ATC PNC 10 Miler started (we were doing a Cheer Station). We walked in to a glorious feast of donuts before our us, spread out as far as the eye could see. A variety of so many different types amazed us, and thus we knew a royal feast was on the way! The coffee gave us a strength of a thousand horses, and we pillaged all the donuts (two dozen to be exact). Songs of glory were sung, and the Princess shouted a royal Hot Light cheer as we toasted to our victory. Yes, M'Ladies and M'Lords, the Krispy Kreme Realm is one abundant with magic and wizardry hats. The serfs and wenches here provide great service. A true spectacle.
