I have dyed my hair for years now. Always went full blonde over and over. This time i decided to get my hair done by a "professional" i went for a whole color and when i left the salon they did not give me the color i wanted. also my hair felt so gummy and sticky. I fixed it myself. After i went for a highlight, since i've been going there I thought they would know what i have had done to my hair. I left the place with a nice hair, was happy. However after washing it my hair is GUMMY! Full damaged and i can't fix it. What am i supposed to do now with my hair this damaged and gummy. do not recommend, they don't pay attention to clients past procedures and do whatever to your hair just to get money. read more

I'm sorry to say this because she was nice, but Ingris gave me a very bad cut. She cut too-thick, too-short layers into the front of my hair so it looked like steps were coming off the sides of my bangs (which she also cut unevenly), and then when I asked her to soften up the layers so they blended better with the length of my hair, she took large chunks out of my left side to the point where there's obviously large pieces missing where the blending should've happened. It was bad enough that it was the first thing my friends said when they saw me that night. read more

Went there with back hair to get it a little bit lighter and they did an amazing job. Both of my daughter got them haircut here and they loved it. Got a haircut yesterday with Krissia. I have gone to her before without a problem. I have Afro hair, and she brushed my hair. I felt my hair root a bit when she brushing, but I thought it was nothing. As soon as I left, I felt horrible pain on my hair root. I'm now taking medicine for the pain. The Afro hair is sensitive and her constant pushing with the brush caused an aching pain for me. She is a great hairstylist, but if you have Afro hair I would not recommend going to her. read more

Decided to take the jump for a keratin treatment after a friend got it done at the Beltsville location. Called Krissia and she was able to see me that same day (weekday). My entire experience was great from the moment I walked in to get my hair washed to the explanation of the wide variety of keratin treatments they offer. After a brief discussion (regarding price, keratin options, and how to take care of my hair after the treatment) Krissia recommended the chocolate keratin as it fulfilled my hair needs. I was promptly moved to start the treatment. Note: be ready for a lot of heat! I have natural black hair and haven't dyed my hair in many years (8+) therefore this process was new to me. After the heat treatment and rinsing process, Ingris took over and the drying started. They have a well ventilated area with fans in each station to make sure the process goes on smoothly. It was a bit overwhelming for me but Ingris made sure to ask if I was doing well. Once done, I was told to not wet my hair and come back after three days to get the treatment washed. The day I returned Ingris took care of me from the start. Overall great experience and excellent prices. read more

This is a wonderful Salon with high quality services reasonably priced. The stylists are skilled and mastered at what they do!! When you leave the Salon you will feel like a movie star. The humble stylists give you Star bragging styles. I have been a client there since opening and will not pick any other Salon. It would be very hard to top their high quality, personalized care and flexibility that Krissia's Hair Salon offers. They also have Botox Hair treatment which is to die for! They have 2 barbers and 4 stylists. They also offer Nail care. Krissia, the owner is a skilled artist, as all her stylists; keeping up with the most sought looks and incredible color styles. I have also seen her give the most incredible cuts to both male and female. Amazing! read more

They made my hair so pretty :') Ellie was super gentile and responsive to what I asked for. Everyone here speaks Spanish here but they know enough english to ask you what you want. There's big, thick plastic sheets between each station and everyone was wearing a mask, so it felt secure. read more

I was able to be fit in within half an hour of calling. I just got a shampoo and haircut, and was out in less than 30 minutes. Everyone was kind and greeted me with smiles. I just went to get my hair cut this past Tuesday and I love how they left my hair every time !!! Ingrid helped me and she was good and quick the shampoo lady was a little harsh but hey they gotta get your scalp clean so I didn't mind but if your scalp is on the sensitive side I would let them know but they will shampoo you very well and won't skimp on the conditioner either then the stylist will cut your hair and blow dry you I told her exactly what I wanted and how much I wanted cut and they always listen !! Which is what I love if you ladies (and gentlemen ) know how hard it is to find a stylist or barber that listens to you !! This is the place for you! There very affordable also I mean what more can you ask for :) read more

I got a great haircut last week at Krissia's. Price was good ($40) and it was quick and high quality. I could not recommend it more!

I tried to dye my own hair and didn't like how it turned out. My hair was blonder at the roots and dark at the ends so I went there hoping they could fix it and make the blonde look less orange. The ladies were very sweet and helped me pick out a color that would look good with my skin complexion. They talked me through what they were going to do. They were very attentive and I even decided to get a hair cut and blow dry which also came out amazing. I will definitely be returning for cuts and when I want dye my hair!!! read more

I'm only giving it a 2 star since the other employees were nice and in the beginning everything was going good until she started dying my hair blue which was what i wanted. I wanted a dark blue nothing bright or light i specifically said that and showed a photo and made it clear , larissa was really nice and when she started coloring in the blue it looked bright and i was getting worried but wanted to see how it looked once it dried and it was awful i was so upset nearly cried because it was not what i wanted, she said it looks good but i didn't want a bright blue i felt ugly. So she said that i can come back on Monday since they already closed but i was mad at this point that she even offered that because i told her from the start what i wanted and i said no you can do it now, she said ok so she added more blue and washed etc.Then everything turned out good after that i got the look i was going for, so once it was ready to pay she wanted to mention that it'll be an extra $20 because "i made her stay when i could have came back on Monday " . At that point i wasn't happy and responded with "you never mention an extra $20 and I'm not paying it because your the one that messed up my hair and made me stay an extra hour ". So she said it's fine and i payed the $180 which included the dye , blow dry /straighten and trim . read more

This salon does not have any good customer service. I went there once for a haircut and I was just being ignored . Everyone that stepped into that salon got attended and I was still waiting and waiting. Until I asked how long it was gonna take. So she finally attended me. As she was cutting my hair she started talking about me to another employer and I looked to see and she said "she's looking" and just stopped talking. I didn't feel comfortable after. I went a couple months after back to this salon because I saw pictures of how nice they leave clients hair. I went for a blonde and I had an ombre already so I wanted my whole hair blonde when the lady finally finished it came out horrible !The lines of my ombre still showed and my hair was not blonde it was orange !Now mind you I was there for 5 hours ! I couldn't keep my hair like that I hated it. So I went to another salon and got my hair redone they did it so perfect just how I wanted it. They even said my hair was not blonde it was orange and the lines looked horrible. The employers at Krissias hair salon are not patient they rush things to much they don't care about their clients happiness. I'm never going back there! read more
