My main problem was the extreme level of scent applied to the room and linens. It made it difficult to breathe. If you care about your guests, provide a number of fragrance free rooms as many people have chemical sensitivity. So much perfume always makes one wonder what it is covering up.

Ugly, old gross furniture. "kitchen" made of particle board, cheap and gross, complete with mice droppings. Old, worn-out furniture. Most rooms share bathrooms in the hallways. My room had a bathroom that was so gross with 1970-ish fake tiled shower/tub that I could not bring myself to use. Beligerant owner/manager who does not take criticism well! Owner entered my and a friends' rooms without out knowledge or consent--not ok! I was escorted out via police under threat of jailing for "trespassing" (room was fully paid for). This due to my complaints and anger over all of the above. Do not b believe the 5 star review; it is clearly a fake! Gross, disgusting, nasty, there is absolutely nothing positive to say! I would have taken photos but under police escort this was not possible. This place needs to be completely redone, there is zero space in good repair of the 2 floors that I saw. Owner tried to take and photograph my driver's license, in anger towards me; I'm the one who could have pressed charges!

Beach front, the pool area is beautiful, and the staff here is compiled with some of the nicest people I have ever met in my lifetime. It's spotless and the wifi though not the best is enough to get by. You don't really need wifi on vacation anyway. You need to be out enjoying the beautiful area. There is a little grocery story down the block and like a 7/11 type store right across the road. The neighbors are all friendly and everyone was delightful. There are always a bunch of taxi drivers zooming down the road so it shouldn't be hard to get a ride somewhere. What I liked was that it isn't in the hotel zone. But not super far away. We were close enough to get to everything we wanted to do with a short taxi ride away but still far enough that we didn't have to see all the hoodlums that came out for memorial day weekend. We got a chance to relax and really enjoy Mexico without the crowds. I love this place and can't wait to return.

She is always friendly and greets the guests as they come to breakfast with a cheery Good morning and a How do you do? She dotes over the children and pets, and makes everyone feel welcome at their home away from home. On Stacie's day off, Cynthia cooks the breakfast and she is very friendly with the guests as well. However, the interim corporate General Manager is very unfriendly and unkind. I've said Good Morning to him on more than one occasion and he looked right at me and kept walking. I repeated my greeting and he turned around again and kept walking. He's all about business matters and not the guests and he makes it quite clear with his actions and body language.
