What has become of me. Reviewing a Kroger? Oh my... I need a hobby. Going grocery shopping at this Kroger several years ago used to be a bit of a chore because it was so... blah looking. It was old and poopy. A couple years ago, they got a little bigger and rearranged several areas of the store. Now, it's not so depressing. There's not much to say about this (... or any ...) Kroger other than that it's one that has a mini sushi bar. I've not had sushi from too many places, but despite the weird, hard to pronounce, and sometimes scary, ingredients listed in the sushi, it tastes pretty good and is reasonably priced. So what's wrong with this Kroger? I don't know... uh. Well, the healthy (or "garbage food aisle", as my mom calls it) aisle's freezer section has less of a selection than Target, which I think is kind of embarrassing. Also, the make-your-own-six-pack beer selection is pretty pathetic... mostly loads of mass produced beers. I've said enough. It's a Kroger. A good Kroger. Some Krogers are bad Krogers. This isn't a bad Kroger. It's a Kroger that's gotten a face lift, while other Krogers look like Freddy Krueger... or, Freddy Kroger. Lolololol. Alright, I'm done. read more

I went in there to return bottles and then I was like lemme go see there candles and shampoo and stuff like that and after I was done looking at the shampoo all the workers started to follow me around there's one guy actually walking around the parking lot looking in cars not to mention he is one of the same workers that followed me around these people that work here are actually slow asfk and need to learn not be weird and follow me around I will not be returning at all read more

The concern with New Baltimore consumers is why is Kroger care more for the pick up and delivery customers but really don't care for the in store customers. As the lanes are filled with customers pick up orders the lanes are filled with purple carts where you have no access to shop in store. Shame on Kroger Mansgement . This Kroger is an actual disaster. It's usually busy and you have to wait a while for a register. The food stock in somewhat stocked (depending on when you go). The staff (especially the bigger lady with dyed hair who works at the service desk and register area) is SO RUDE! For example, I went there for a return and I mentioned I used to work at Kroger and I paid with my Kroger pay (an app on the phone). She refused the return and did not even let me show the barcode or attempt to explain how to do the return. She then told me that if I actually worked for a Kroger I should know how returned worked. SHE PROCEEDED TO QUESTION IF I ACTUALLY WORKED AT A KROGER, at that point I was done wanting her to do my return and attempted to grab my item. I APOLOGIZED TO HER so she could just stop talking to me, and went to my old Kroger (Kroger Marketplace on 18 Mile and Dequindre Road) AND THEY DID THE RETURN WITHOUT EVEN ASKING ME ANY QUESTIONS OR FIGHTING ME ON IT! This Kroger just is not a great Kroger and I do not recommend going there. read more

This store sucks. Really, it does. Where does one start? 1. Groceries are overpriced. WAY overpriced...long before COVID hit. My advice? Just go to Wal-Mart or Aldi's down the road. 2. Must use Kroger card or other deceptive digital coupons schemes to get the sales price. Why make customers jump through hoops or do algebra to get the sales price? 3. The Kroger card tracks and sells your personal data and purchase history. There are serious privacy concerns here. Just more corporate creepiness. Funny that most Americans will sell their souls for a free hot dog. 4. Most staff have serious attitudes. Not sure if they are entitled by the Food Union or just mean by nature. Avoid them. 5. Kroger pharmacy screwed up my prescription. Shorted be 20 antibiotics, not once but twice! Of course, the onus was on me to drive back, sicker than a dog, and sort the matter out. The pharmacy staff made zero eye contact and could have cared less. 6. Parking lot from Hell. Dodge that rolling bascart! Massive crowds, 200 handicapped spaces, and zombie suburbanites driving like possessed demons. 7. All the grocery carts are dirty, banged-up, and out of alignment. Must wear gloves pushing these petri-dishes. 8. Nothing but problems with the self-check out. Kroger is like a thief in the night...convoluted touch screens, dirty scanners, long alcohol ID checks, and worst of all, WRONG PRICES ringing-up. Avocados that were marked at .67 cents each suddenly appear as $2 each. Butter clearly priced at 1.97 a pound rings up at $2.99. Don't dare press the Help button...you'll wait 3-5 minutes for service staff to respond while a long line of toe-tapping customers gives the evil eye for holding up the line. When service staff finally arrives, they lecture you for not having the digital coupon app to obtain the sales price....more schemes, algebra, hassles...ad nauseum. SUMMARY: A fucking trainwreck of a grocery store. But hey, in 2022 one better learn the word "demoralization". Your lucky to even have food on the shelves and "essential heroes" that show up to work. This is the most jacked up Kroger ever. Bare shelves always and very few employees which I know is beyond their control.

Products were broken and opened. Employees were lazy, rude, impatient, and annoyed after hearing my complaint. The blueberries and strawberries were not sealed very well. They spilled all over the cashier when bagging our groceries. Karma. They also dropped our eggs on the floor, and they all cracked. When we bought clothes, they forgot to take the sensor off the items. I had to take it off carefully with a knife. Chemicals could have shot off. AND still... The worst part of this grocery shopping trip was the overpriced sushi which I was so desperately craving. read more

I love the staff here. They're great. The management gets negative. Appalled by the way they treat the disabled staff. Not all the management and not all the staff. But there's been some occasions. Also, minus point. With grocery prices the way they are. Hiding or removing the hand baskets around holidays. That's shameful tactic with the inflated prices as they have been. Produce is not fresher than fresh as seen on TV, shelves not stocked very well, attitude from most employees, if it's on sale don't expect to find it anywhere in the store I know things have been hard the last 2 years, but this is a large corporate business and things can be handled a lot differently than they are. read more

This store has gone so far down hill. They never have shelves stocked. Carts are rarely in the store anymore, mostly just self check out now. Whoever has been in charge of managing this place should be replaced. This store should be an embarrassment to the company as a whole. read more

Stopped for gas and paid in cash. The pumps wouldn't work and then the computer went down. After 45 minutes waiting for a refund they told me to go into the store to the service desk. Of course it was closed so I had to hunt down the store manager to get my money back. The store is absolutely filthy and I will never go back read more

Besides the inconvenient parking lot, this is the best KROGER around. All employees are polite and helpful. I love that 90% of the time there is not more than one person in front of me at checkout lanes! Keep up the good work and I will continue to do my shopping there!!! They screwed up a cake I ordered and was very rude when I asked for a refund and I was going back and forth with the store and 1800krogers both of them lied and being rude I finally had to accept store credit but I really don't want to go shopping there ever again read more

First time shopping at this location was pleasant. The store is clean and very well organized.

Produce is not the greatest here & one of the women who frequently is out stocking seems to always have an attitude when asked about the produce. The women in Deli seem like they do not get along and a few of them act like they are being bothered when helping customers. Best grocery store. Everyone is so friendly and willing to help. Never had issues. Food is fresh. There wings in deli r to die for and the bakery decorators r very talented. Signs on each aisle make it easy to navigate. Flowers always fresh. Lots of sales. Love the coupon app and fuel points and now the gas station! read more
