The Forest Kroger pharmacy is fantastic!! All the technicians are very friendly and always check to see if we can save money! The pharmacists are all excellent. Our two dogs LOVE to go through the drive through even if they are riding in the motorcycle sidecar! They always get lots of attention and always a "cookie" or two! Thank you all! read more

I do not recommend using the Online Pickup. There were a few issues with my pickup: 1. The employee that put my groceries in my vehicle deci to throw everything in and had no regard for the glass and eggs. 2. the chicken breast was put on top of my "fresh" fruit. 3. The "Fresh" blueberries are a day away from being bad. 4. The burger meat is a day away from being bad. Needless to say, I will no longer be using Kroger and will stick with Walmart. The service here has been consistently an issue with under-staffed - no matter the hours. Whether midday or late, there are multiple sections closed or unavailable. This has resulted in very poor service that has declined over the past year. read more

Just so you know. Masks are NOT required when cutting sandwich meat and/or cheese. This is absurd during the most dangerous virus in this country's history. I called and the manager said it was not required. Also as I was standing at the meat counter talking with the employee another employee asked where a product that was "defective" should go. The lady said it's only a cracked top, put it back on the shelf. FYI, I went to the Neighborhood Walmart down the road, all were wearing masks. read more

The pharmacy is not good at all. No one seems to know what they are doing. One time I had a doctor call in a prescription, when I called to check on it, the pharmacist claimed it wasn't called in. Then she put me on hold after I insisted it was and claimed, she didn't check the message correctly and intact it was called in. On another occasion, I called to check in a prescription was ready, the tech told me there was nothing for me and to go to another kroger, but she couldn't tell me which other one in town. I questioned this, why would I circle around searching for my Prescription, then i verified my birthday again, and she says "wait, I have it" ... what the???!! Was she even in the right screen? I literally spelled out my first and last name to her like a first grader and said my birthday repeatedly. This place worries me. This was simply for ibuprofen, I can't imagine others that are getting cardiac and blood pressure meds here. No one seems to have a brain. Not even the pharmacist . I've always been loyal to Kroger, but in this instance they didn't care about ruining my thanksgiving, they figured $10 was worth the compensation when I spent $200+ at the store alone for thanksgiving dinner!! I like this Kroger. I visit multiple times per week since its so convenient. I like the people who work there and know a number on a first name basis. The management cares about the community and often allows local organizations fund raise on the property. I must admit that it is sometimes annoying to be solicited going both in and out the store, especially on Saturdays. This morning a local youth football team was conducting a car wash on in the parking lot near the gas pumps. When I pulled in off the highway I had to hit my brakes hard due to kids wearing their jerseys darting back and forth across the entrance. They were yelling and screaming at the same time attempting to direct incoming vehicles into the wash area. Adults were present but seemed to ignore this dangerous behavior. One adult was using a pressure washer on the vehicles, and the spray wetted my vehicle at the pump (which I had just washed) as well as me while pumping fuel. Kroger... STOP THIS INSANITY EVERY WEEKEND!!! (Five Stars if you stop the solicitations!) read more

This is the closest grocery store to us. It's massive and so clean. I used to hate grocery shopping. Now, I absolutely love it. Coming from NYC, it's crazy how wide the aisles are, how large the selection is, and how friendly the workers are. I was so taken back when they were putting my bags in the cart for me that I thought the lady was stealing my groceries. Ha! The New Yorker in me I guess! Also, everything is soooo reasonably priced. I told my husband if that's the only store we could ever go to from here on out, I'd be okay with that. read more

For what was once the premier grocery chain in the area, they've really gone to hell. They stock during some of the busiest times, rather than using a night shift, and the workers don't care if their pallets are blocking the aisles. Extra stock is left on the floors in the aisles. The baggers act like you're being a pain if you ask for things to be put in bags (ie - a roll of paper towels or a six-pack of drinks). As someone who once worked at Kroger back in the day, it's disappointing to see the apathy. I was promised a $10 credit for a click list screw up (only half of my groceries were loaded, had to go back to the store a second time), and it has never happened, even though I called to follow up and was again promised it would be handled. I'm planning to make the longer drive to Food Lion to see if they're any better. I can't imagine they could be worse. read more
